While my review will be biased as a city fan, I will do my best to be honest. Firstly,I have only been to a few stadiums. Namely CBSA (Formerly Ricoh arena) , villa park, old Trafford and the Emirates (Not including other sports or venues such as Wembley). The Etihad , in my opinion is the best in terms of hospitality. It feels modern and looks stunning. Parking takes a while to get out ( as with all stadiums if you use Thier car park, which I don't anymore, better to park 15 minutes away and walk). Getting in is very easy and stewards are super helpful and knowledgeable. My only criticism for this stadium is (apart from the south stand), the crowd can feel flat. There are individuals and groups who only celebrate goals, and simply sit silent for the rest of the game. While this is understandable for low stake games, I think the other clubs I've been to were more vocal in games of similar stake. The fans who are vocal however, are exceptional. In the south stand, chants pick up very frequently it's better than the other stands I've sat in. If it's atmosphere you enjoy, try to sit with the south stand, and avoid the family stand. Have no experience with the Colin bell stand. The east stand is somewhere in between and offers the best views. (I assume Colin bell stand will be very similar) Haven't used the food services or merchandise services but aware both are available. Toilets are best used well before the game and should be avoided at half time if possible. Urinals pool and long queues form outside. Best to only use if you are desperate. However this seems to be the case with all stadiums and in fairness, the floor has always been free of urine in my experience (not the case with other stadiums in this city!!!). Ultimately the Etihad is the nicest stadium I've been to, and easily the best football is played here. The atmosphere isn't the issue (the Madrid 4-0 SF 2nd leg game was absolutely surreal, when we score the noise is deafening), its more consistency and having a lively atmosphere in all games for 90 minutes.

The Etihad Stadium, home to Manchester City Football Club, is a modern and impressive sporting venue. Located in the heart of Manchester, this stadium offers a top-notch experience for football enthusiasts. The stadium boasts a seating capacity of over 53,000, providing ample space for fans to witness exciting matches. One of the standout features of the Etihad Stadium is its contemporary design and architecture. The sleek, blue exterior reflects the club's identity, and the stadium's interior is equally impressive. The seating arrangement ensures that spectators have excellent views of the pitch from almost every angle. Facilities at the Etihad Stadium are top-notch. There are numerous hospitality suites, restaurants, and bars, making it a great place to enjoy the matchday experience. The atmosphere inside the stadium is electric, with passionate fans creating an incredible backdrop to the action on the field. The pitch itself is well-maintained, and the stadium often hosts not only Premier League matches but also international games and concerts. Accessibility is also a plus, with excellent transportation links to and from the stadium. In conclusion, the Etihad Stadium is a fantastic venue for football fans, offering a modern and comfortable setting to enjoy matches. Whether you're a die-hard Manchester City supporter or a neutral football enthusiast, a visit to the Etihad is a memorable experience.

We visited the Etihad Stadium on our recent visit to Manchester. We visited both Manchester United and Manchester City’s stadiums but only saw the outside of both, however the review is about the area as a whole. I have already reviewed Manchester United’s stadium, but we much preferred visiting the Etihad Stadium, mostly because you could park in the car park, get out and walk all the way around the stadium. This is something that’s impossible to do at Manchester United (Old Trafford) because there are security stopping you from parking anywhere near it, even when it’s closed! So we really took our time and enjoyed looking around Manchester City’s stadium. This was my sons first visit to a stadium like this and he loved it. Even though it was closed and there wasn’t a game on, it still felt like you were part of the whole team when walking around it. I’d like to thank those in charge of the Etihad Stadium for allowing people to walk around it and take photos even when it’s not open. For many people this is the closest well get so to be able walk right up to the doors and be around the statues etc meant a lot. Thank you for allowing the car park to be open and free even when the stadium is closed too, it meant that we could visit easily and create memories my son will never forget. Thank you.

The Etihad Stadium Tour was amazing value for money. At the beginning of the tour everyone was given a Manchester City Stadium Tour lanyard, which also gave you 10% off in the Club Shop. (A discount is always welcome ) The tour lasted 80mins and we were told so many facts and interesting information. Our guide Stan was absolutely brilliant, his passion for the club shone through. At no time during our tour were we rushed through, everyone was given plenty of opportunities to take as many photographs as we wanted. To learn the history of the club, and how the club was formed was really heart warming. It was very interesting to learn the powerful effects psychology has on players, before a match, like why the away changing room is set out the way it is, how the away players enter the stadium, the pitch, etc and why the club go to such lengths, The flip side is the positive impact of psychology for players prior to their match. The Home Dressing Room demonstrates a perfect example of this. A lot of attention to detail is invested in the whole Club. If you love football, enjoy learning about a clubs history, this tour is a must. The Etihad Stadium is awesome. Highly recommend making the trip. ⚽

Etihad Stadium home of Manchester City is an awesome place for football. The atmosphere is super exciting, especially during big games. The fans, all wearing sky-blue jerseys, cheer loudly, making it a cool and intense experience. Being there feels amazing – you get all pumped up waiting for the game to start, and when the best team on earth scores, it's pure joy. The crowd goes wild, everyone's cheering – it's something you won't forget. Watching the best team play at Etihad Stadium is like being part of a big celebration. The players' skills, the team's strategies, and the teamwork make it a thrilling experience. Plus, the stadium itself is top-notch, with great views from every seat. In short, Etihad Stadium isn't just a place to watch football; it's like a special place for fans. It's where the excitement is high, and the love for the game is at its best. Whether you're a huge fan or just there to enjoy, the Etihad Stadium gives you an unforgettable experience.

Went for The Weekend concert. We parked the stadium's blue car park. It cost £25 but we were happy to pay for the convenience. The queue to enter the arena was huge mainly because of bag checking. It's health and safety so no issue. Lots of stewards around to ask for help if needed. Bag check and body scan was quick and painless. Inside it was easy to find our seats. Facilities such as the bar and toilets were great. The only negative was that we struggled to find the water filling station, no signage to help. Leaving the concert was hectic as so many people piled out. It was quite well organised but keep hold of kids as it would be easy to lose them. We left the car park with minimal queuing and can't fault the parking facilities.

Came here for a stadium tour a day after one of their FA matches in March. Easy to get here from the city centre, the tram just drops you off right in front of the stadium. Coming from the United States, this feels like a proper stadium, a lot of other stadiums are super run down and feels like you went back in time but this is modernized to today's world. We started the tour ar the gift shop and the tours run every 15 minutes so a ton of demand, I also went here on a Sunday. Then we went to the "VIP" area and saw where the players enter, went to the fitness and dressing room next and then finally walked out to the pitch. After that we went to the press area then ended back to the shop. Amazing tour and would highly recommend.

The first home game of the 2023/24 season, was treated to the Mancunian restaurant in the stadium for the against Newcastle. The stadium is huge, but what an experience, walking in through the main entrance (the same one as the players walk in) and going up a couple of floors. The food was good, ask for vegan options. It was great eating your main meal then going out to our very comfortable seats to watch the game. At half time you come in again for your snacks & more drinks before going out for the 2nd half. The whole experience was great.

  • Clare Hill

Very organised from start to finish. When we arrived we were asked to sit near a cafe and wait for our guide. We could not have asked for a better, funnier guide. His name was Ivo. He started out as waiting staff at one of the food stands and now is a guide with so much wit and knowledge. He made it interesting for me, a football mad person's partner. You were able to go to most of the interesting parts of the stadium. You are not allowed on the grass understandably. The photo opportunity with Pep superimposed on the screen was genius.

Wow went to see The Weekend what a showman I was buzzing. Never watched a gig in a football ⚽️ stadium it blew my mind . The atmosphere was amazing and the sound and pyrotechnics fantastic. Just chaos trying to get off the side street with the car when we left. Everyone arguing and being stubborn not wanting to move there cars. NIGHTMARE but the gig was amazing truly

My family and I attended the stadium tour guided by Paul and Cassie which was a unique experience for us. The guide was fun, entertaining and very informative. The tour take around 90min and you get the chance to get into the pitch and even the changing rooms of the players. There is also a big surprise at the end, which I’m not going to say here, you have to see it yourself

A great stadium for a concert, with easy access via a tram from the city centre. Pitch standing provided a good view of the stage. The smaller stadiums suit this (compared to say Wembley). Toilet and drink facilities were decent and appeared to cope ok given the crowds. Leaving the stadium was ok but very busy so we found it easier to walk back into the city centre

What can I say. Its a truly spectacular stadium from both inside and out. Lovely statues of some iconic City players outside the ground. Nice clean concourse, seats and overall stands are cleaned and well maintained. I was situated in the standing area too behind the goal which was a bonus. The atmosphere wasn't the greatest but then again I didn't go to a particularly important match. Would recommend so you can tick this off the bucket list.

  • Ioannis Aligizakis

I was fortunate enough to be there for the first match of the season 23/24 against Newcastle. The first time game of the season celebrating the Treble and the super cup. Very nice atmosphere and a modern stadium that offers the best experience. The 90:20 lounge if you have access is a Quite a unique experience with good food and live music. I loved that this is a non-smoking stadium. The boutique has everything that you will be looking for.

  • Denise Ciarleglio

Great concert venue, location and facilities brilliant. Sadly once you get outside the stadium, unless you have knowledge of the area, a little hard to navigate your way back to the city centre as no one seems to have thought of signposting the area, even more difficult when you are one of over 40,000 people looking for directions. But couldn't fault Etihad

I went there in the palace away section.. Nice stadium, good walk up to the place on the canal. Only con is the ridiculous rule that you cannot take bags in of above A4 size... seriously... what a pathetic rule and they actually enforce it... Atmosphere wise was ok compared to the other places I have been but not the most pumped place ever...but that prob cos they have zero excitement seeing palace come to town

  • Kate

I'm not a City fan, my 7 year old son is, but I enjoyed the tour even more than him. Steve and Martin were our guides and were great. Helped we saw Jack Grealish from a distance too! Easy to get to, very interesting to see all the areas at the stadium and the information Steve gave us. Think everyone on the tour really enjoyed it and I'd definitely recommend for anyone visiting even if you don't support City!

  • Letícia Grein

Loved every moment! The tour guide is really cool, it’s different watching the games knowing everything about the stadium and the team now. Watch the game at the Etihad is wonderful, being part of something so big and be able to see the players so close like that is magical and the people are very nice and kind. Memories for life

Amazing experience. My children and I had the most vibrant, fun, and inclusive tour guide. As my son is a wheelchair user every part of the tour was inclusive. He involved my son in the Q & A and it was like a dream come true for my children to see the stadium. They had only ever seen it on TV as we travelled abroad to see it! Thanks MAN CITY hoping to return to this great atmosphere soon!

  • Olivier Lüthy

The stadium is truly stunning. While it may appear modest from the exterior, once you step inside, its grandeur is undeniable. The guided tour was exceptionally informative, offering insights into the stadium's rich history and the behind-the-scenes process for players. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone with an interest in stadiums and, naturally, football enthusiasts.

  • Tunjay

Awesome stadium with helpful staff all around the ground. Easily accessible with the trams. The kids fan zone is great if you are visiting with kids. Free entry and plenty for them to do before the match. I was a bit disappointed with the atmosphere inside Etihad. There was no chanting even when city were 2-0 ahead. The club needs to do something about this

  • Nicole Mak

Fantastic stadium, easy to navigate, very helpful staff, tons of amenities, great atmosphere. Can't wait to see de bruyne on that pitch again! Great to be seeing Ed Sheeran at the stadium as well. Had a conference held at the stadium venue before, awesome conference space over viewing the Etihad stadium, and facilities are maintained in great condition.

Was such an epic moment, Firstly not only visiting the Etihad Stadium which was so special anyways But I got to see ColdPlay Live with my mum, Always been on her bucket list, and we made that dream a reality cost a fortune, but I will always have these memories with her ❤️ I can only imagine the atmosphere at this location on game night

  • steven bennett

Champions of Europe, always a great experience when your there,if you go with children except a little bit if language, but it's all part of the game.. Get there early, head for the west stand so you can watch the team coach arrive. A lot of redevelopment going on around the ground,so it felt a little bit strange, but all for the good.

  • Al Rasul

Went to watch Man City vs Red Star in the opening of the champions league and what a match, the fans were loud and friendly the stadium was awesome and the view was fantastic myself and my 10 year old son had a brilliant time and I would recommend anyone to visit the Eitihad Stadium whether your a fan or not 100% recommended.

  • Shawna Hartley

Did a VIP tour with Roger and was so impressed. Not only in the stadium, which was beautiful and modern, but Roger’s knowledge and flow! He did a great job! Our tour only had 4 people on it and we had so much time to ask questions and take as many pictures as we wanted. The added stop for champagne in a suite was fun too.

  • Shahriyar Shirinov

One of best stadiums in world to feel what is real soccer. The stadium have a lot of places where you can eat, drink, buy clubs uniforms and other souvenirs. Good location. Big parking space. Very good organised entrance and exit. Even the stadium is full there no queue. You can easily come with family and kids.
