My partner and I visited Etno on a whim after seeing positive reviews on Google. We've never tried Siberian food before was also a draw for us. We asked our server for recommendations as we wanted the "authentic" experience. We a pint of Paulaner and Radeberger, and both were easy drinking beers. We had the meat platter for two and a Šopska Salad. Salad was light, but flavourful - somewhat similar to Greek salad. The portions in the meat platter were tremendous. The food we ordered is enough for 3 people, maybe 4. The food was simple and lightly seasoned, but cooked perfectly and very satisfying. Meats were tender, juicy, but not greasy. The Karađorđeva (rolled and beaded schnitzel, and filled with cream cheese) was OUTSTANDING - definitely our favorite menu item that we tried. Service was really good. Our server took the time to provide recommendations and explain the menu items. Servers were attentive, but not overwhelming. Our food was prepared quickly, but we visited the restaurant for an early dinner so the restaurant was not very busy. Etno had a great atmosphere. The restaurant was elaborately decorated with what I assume was culturally significant garments and decor. The music was also Siberian themed - we heard some patrons singing along to the music. About half of the seating was tables for 8 people - we assumed this is to accommodate a family style environment. I left that restaurant feeling good with a desire to return with family and friends. We are looking forward to returning!

Mixed Meat Platter for Two

Small restaurant, you can call it a hole in a wall... It's located in a small strip mall, but once you walk in, you are instantly transformed to Serbia. I wouldn't say that food is cheap, but is very reasonably priced. Four person mixed meat platter is about $75,and it's enough to feed at least six people. Staff is very, very friendly, speaking both Serbian and English, and they will usually go out of their way to accommodate your needs. Staff is also very knowledgeable about the ethnic food and drinks, and will explain in detail all of your questions. During the day, you can usually just walk in, and sit at the table, but Friday and Saturday nights are usually packed, and will require a reservation. Of you're looking for a authentic Serbian food, look no more. Two minutes from Redhill, easy on and off, and you will never leave hungry. The take-out picture I included is a mixed meat platter for four... Enough to feed at least six very hungry people...

Amazing. Like taking a step back in time. LOVED the decor. Noticed the place is absurdly clean, like my mom dusts the place 4 days a week. Food from seeing others plates looked amazing. Goulash soup was very very good. Prices are high as hell, but hey it’s not an everyday thing…still tho, lower prices would be good and likely help the business. Had the baklava for dessert…not sure what happened there or if that’s how it’s served Serbian style…was cold, soft, wet and drowning in watered honey. Almost like it was frozen and then left to thaw on a plate and served that way with the thaw water. That being said, I’m likely wrong as hell because it was really good, crazy good. And if I was watered and thawed, I don’t think I could have handled it any other way. In a word, amazing. Just not happy with the amazing high prices. And Paulaner on tap? Oh heck yes.

This traditional Serbian bar & grill has amazing food & decor. Their English was excellent plus they offer service in Serbian. The portions are generous and the flavour is worth checking out. Our waitress, Tanja, was friendly and provided excellent service. The atmosphere really added to the experience. The meat and cheese plate had some well-smoked meats that tasted really great. The goulash was full of flavour without being fatty or thick (like gravy). It's the best goulash we've tried. The rolled schnitzel was rich and creamy and had a perfect sour cream flavour. It wasn't greasy even though it was deep fried. I would definitely order this again. We were really happy to try Etno's and we'll definitely be back again. We look forward to trying their combination-meals-for-two.

Perfect family restaurant with a very traditionally themed interior that brings you to Serbia - food is the best I’ve had of all the Serb restaurants I’ve had in town. An absolute hidden gem restaurant in the city, our favourite after only one visit. The Etno Meat Platter is absolutely beautiful, stacks of tender and perfectly seasoned meat and sides is perfect if you’re a big meat eater, or on low carb diet. The portions and prices are also excellent! Love it

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! The atmosphere at Etno and the amazing decorations was like being in Serbia (Malo Srbije!!). It was so old country inside and I highly recommend eating indoors just because of the Serbian atmosphere. The food was beyond delicious. I had ćevapi, šopska salata and rakija od breskva. All were so tasty and well made! I highly recommend Etno if you are looking for something very Serbian. The waitresses were so nice and could speak Serbian. It was an awesome evening with family and so good to hang out in a Serbian atmosphere!

Great place, enjoyed ourselves. If you would like to try Serbian food this is a great place to go. The rolled schnitzel and bread are amazing and worth a trip all on their own!

Dropped by this place after work, ordered the Etno hamburger which was incredibly delicious, particularly on the Serbian lepinje homemade bread. Plus a salad. More than enough food, great price for the quality. Very original place, staff is welcoming and friendly, looking forward to next visit. Their lagers on tap are also very good.

Really lives up to tje name for the ambient and decor. Food is Balkan style with a great selection of grilled meat and salads. The pizza here a thin crust and very tasty if that is your wish. And the service is pleasant and quick. Weekends have live Serbian music at very comfortable listening levels. Lots of different Serbian rakija to try as well!

What an amazing spot for our traditional food. We had one day trip to Hamilton and decide to stop here. We searched for "ćevapi" on google and based on some previous reviews decided to visit Etno. Being so long in Canada we certainly miss some of our mama and baba food. Restaurant has many traditional details and food is just stunning especially Uštipci. Service top notch. Love it we will be back.

This restaurant is everything you would want from a Serbian restaurant in North America. Biting into the mouth-watering pljeskavica brought us back to our time living in Serbia. All the flavors and textures of food are authentic and, most of all, delicious. Our family indulged in all our favorites and loved every bite. We will gladly make the trip from Buffalo again.

No free refills on coffee. Charged $3.50 for second refill which was half a cup . Can pop $3.50. Extra milk for second refll, 99 cents. Ridiculous. Food and atmosphere wonderful so 4 stars instead of three stars.

I ordered take out on Friday and it was fantastic. We had the čevapi 10 piece dinners. The girl that took my order was very friendly and when I arrived all of the staff we equally as friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant! Part 2- I was back again today and the lovely staff was very friendly once again. Food was great!

Very European, it felt like we were Serbia! We were there on a Sat night luckily we got a table, the place is super small and many were reserved. We had the meat sampling tray and cabbage salad - it was all delicious! They had 3 live musicians that entertained us all evening. Very fun load place!

I went with my Serbian girlfriend and she said it had the best chevapi this side of Belgrade! We got the meat platter for two and it was amazing! I recommend ordering some Avjar on the side and wash it down with a nice beer (pizo).
