Horrible, had an unfair service and a funny outcome to make them change there minds... Basically hired the vehicle for the weekend away trip, paid for the Hyundai Accent upon receiving the car opted out the full insurance with $0.00 access for the peace of mind.. On the way to view the car the manager asked for a great 5 star review.. the administrator person showed me around the car and simply stated don't worry the car is nearly new and you opted the full cover, handed me the keys and said goodbye.. (after all paperwork was complete)... I got into the vehicle and saw that there was 2 bars (1/8 of a full tank) petrol missing.. i didn't mind and was in a rush so i left thinking that it was "OK'... Upon returning the car after the trip and filling it full, the car was inspected by another administrator which found the fuel level to be the same level as i had received it (unintentional between filling and dropping the car off the vehicle naturally used some fuel..). She commented in stating i will be charged $3 a litter for bringing the tank not full (mind you it might of only been 4 liters or less...) in response i stated that "that's how i received the vehicle if not with less fuel and it was comedic that she would even bring this up over 3-4 liters of fuel.... her response was.. did you take any photos ?? i laughed at the concept and responded did she/administration team take any photos of there own? After they called there manager.. twice (not present at the time) they kept on insisting the vehicle petrol will be charged onto me... I then basically refereed to my $0 access insurance policy with them (which cost more than the vehicle hire)and stated it was not the money of the 3-4 liters as i paid for the additional insurance and that it was the customer service and the fuss that this situation had caused.. End result i asked them if i filled the car and brought it back to them and "Accidentally" hit every single car on the way there and back that i would incur /pay $0.00 access... Oh boy did they change their minds quick !!! So my tip of the day be careful when hiring the vehicle from them make sure everything is photographed and get there $0.00 access insurance cover for the "peace of mind".
My insurer booked me a replacement van with Europcar Sydney Parramatta on Weds for the following Sunday. I had a few questions i needed answered but tried calling the office 5 or 6 times, 3 days in a row. Not once did they answer. The hired van was booked for Sunday 12pm so i could unload my work van and load my hire van on the Sunday night ready for work Monday morning. I arrive at 12.15pm on Sunday only to find out the insurer booked the wrong date (theyve since admitted fault). They booked for Monday 12pm. I asked Nelson from Europcar if it was possible for me to hire a van early and pointed to the 2 sitting in the yard. "No sorry they have flat batteries". I walk out and across the road i see 6 identical vans just sitting there. They close at 12.45pm so he obviously didn't want to make the extra effort. After I return Monday 12pm to pick up my pre booked (5 days in advance) van. It wasnt in the yard. We had to cross the main road (6 lanes of traffic) to find the van, it wasnt there. The same 6 vans i saw 24 hrs earlier. We walk across the park to find the van. The guy opens the door - "Im going to have to empty this out for you". All i can see is rubbish everywhere. He takes the van back across to the yard, while i have to cross the same 6 lanes of traffic on foot. They spend 2 to 3 mins picking up rubbish and taking photos. Hand me the keys. Not a single wipe, or vacuum was used, just picking up rubbish. This, in the middle of Covid-19 pandemic. What rock are these people living under? The back of the van was filthy. I call my insurer and explain the story. They advise me to return the van and go down to Hertz. A completely different experience. Pick up a CLEAN van and deal with a professional member of staff all with half an hrs notice.
My husband accidentally left a boot load of brand new camping equipment for my children’s upcoming camping trip in the back of the car. My husband drove there straight away when he realised and the car had been leased out an hour before. Hassan offered the customers number to my husband but my husband asked Hassan to call due to privacy laws. I have called the Granville depot several times. I’ve been told Christian the manager is too busy, they’re all too busy to call the customer. I’ve been told Hassan was fired because of me even though he never tried to help me. I’m feeling deflated and frustrated that 3 phone calls to head office and the Granville depot has got me nowhere. This lack of help in what seems an easily solvable situation only leads me to believe that someone kept the items. How hard is it to call the next customer that hired the car and say could you please return the boot full of camping gear. Apparently making a phone call is very difficult but I’m sure if I scratched the car they would have found that, but no, I returned a professionally cleaned car that was better than when I got it. The first thing they should do is check the whole car after hire and before hire. Any properties found should go into lost property which seems a normal policy. None of that happened because the car was perfect and they didn’t follow their own procedures. The first car I had to return reeked of a million cigarettes and I had to return it. It absolutely stunk. If nothing happens by Friday when the ca is returned by the other client I’ll go as high as I can go out of principle to make sure this shonky business is outed. Do your job. It’s not that hard!
If I could rank this business in negatives, I would. Staff take days to confirm your booking and the website wasn't brilliant. It appeares to not let you finish your booking so we ended up booking 3 vans for moving, this was eventually cleared up days later when they phoned to confirmed. Ran late for drop off and they'd closed. Rang reservations and they told us to drop the van either at the airport or city. We took it to the city and put the keys in the box as requested as no staff were attending the desk at the time. My partner flew on a red eye interstate the next day. He received a 9:30am phone call from the city store to tell him he'd be charged $3000.00 if he didn't have the van collected and returned to its original pick-up point, the Parramatta store. I left at 9:45, metro, train, taxi ....pick-up van, sign for another driver (was told that Parramatta would wave this charge at their end) drive from the city to Parramatta, charged full 3 days and additional driver..(I could have dropped it off at Parramatta before 9:30am Monday but reservations told us...) uber to Castle Hill, metro, car ride home. Arrived 4:20pm Will avoid this company like the plague!! Unreliable, dirty inside - multiple parking tickets on the dash and in the doors. Staff smiled but were unhelpful and gave misinformation. They charged us everything they could, even a full extra day after reservations gave us false information. Couldn't recommend under these circumstances. Exhausting company to deal with! FREE Advice- train/retrain your staff so they don't give out incorrect information, fix your Website and promptly contact potential customers.
Booked a Hyundai Accent or similar compact car. When I arrived there was no one at the counter. A person inside one of the offices came out, greeted me and got my details. He said he would go out and get the car I had booked. I then saw a Hyundai Accent driven out and parked. The guy who manned the counter then turned up and the second he arrived I felt his manner was anything but customer friendly or helpful. Kept asking me for a "printed" voucher of the booking which I had on my phone. He said he needed a printed voucher and refused to look at it. Told him I was traveling with no access to a printer and everyone accepts a mobile phone confirmation these days even airlines. No he insisted on a printout! So then I asked him do you have a printer here to which he replied yes and then reluctantly agreed to after all that fuss! He then processed the booking and took me out to a much bigger car than what I had booked - a Holden! Not once during the whole process did he have the courtesy to tell me that the car I was given wasn't what I had booked. When I asked him about the Hyundai Accent I booked he tells me they don't have one. So I pointed to the Hyundai Accent parked right next to this Holden and then he tells me it is due for a service and registration renewal. It had a Victorian registration plate where they don't have a pink slip process like in NSW so this was obviously a tall story. Mind boggling to discover that this guy is the Station Manager! No customer skills or any idea of how to deal with people; just unpleasant and rude. Never again will I book a car with Europcar.
Appalled by their horrible service towards us. We hired a Kia Carnival from Europcar and we have 4 children (2 who have autism) while we are dealing with the excruciating pain of the death in our family. Unbelievably the rental van was crashed in to while we were sleeping at 6am in the morning of absolutely no fault of our own. Thankfully no one was hurt. And we had opt for full cover insurance. The incident was reported to the police and Europcar and we followed procedures. Initially Europcar had organised for replacement rental and we made our way over to pick up the new one. When we got to the parramatta office we were met with absolute complete rudeness and no compassion or by the staff member Nelson . F. Even after we had explained our sad family situation. They told us they won’t be giving us a replacement and they couldn’t give us a reason why. We had to complete more paper work due to the crash incident and we’re told ‘we don’t know’ and ‘we can’t help you’ and essentially told to leave. After 24 hours after not hearing anything from them we called the customer service line and were met with the same responses twice until we asked to put on to someone higher and more qualified to deal with our matter. The end result was that we’re not being given a replacement due the extent of the damage to the car, which was entirely NONE of our own fault. And basically told oh well. We have just received an email saying they’re sorry WE (meaning US) had to cancel the policy and feel free to book for another at anytime!
I picked up a rental car from Europcar Parramatta branch which was arranged and paid by my Insurance provider on 20 Nov 2020. The guy at the front desk named Andrew, lied to me and acted in a deceitful manner to convince me the following: The car that was arranged by my Insurance Company did not have its insurance paid by my Insurance Provider and this left me fully liable for any damages to the rental car in case of an accident (not just the excess but the full cost of repair). And he ended up convincing me to agree to pay for a product called 'Premium Protectio’. I wasn't provided with any written explanations of what that product meant, therefore I completely relied on what Andrew told me. Finally, it turned out to be that the amount I agreed to pay under the product referenced as ‘Premium Protectio’ is a product that reduces my excess to zero in the event of an accident and not an insurance product itself. I raised this to their escalation department, however they refused to accept that their staff (Andrew) acted in a "Misleading and Deceptive Conduct" and refused to refund me the amount I didn't have to pay in the first place. I lost $357.61 due to this. So everyone who go to pick a car from Europcar Parramatta, please be cautious about their "Misleading and deceptive conduct" as they have done the same to another colleague who work with me. I have taken this issue to 'ACCC' and they will be held responsible for this shameful way of earning money by cheating their customers. Shame on them.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY unprofessional. if i could they would get zero stars no one answers the phone (called on different days, multiple times) when i confronted the worker in person he said he is busy and alone on the job. (not a good excuse, obviously doesn't want to answer calls) after driving the car for a week, a light came on to let me know to put pressure in the tyres. I pulled up at the petrol station, checked the wheels that were all meant to be at 42 and they were all at 26 or lower. Is this a safe car you have given me? How can the pressure be so low and why are checks not made to ensure the car is safe to drive? When I told the worker upon returning the car I was just ignored. charged me for extra insurance and didn't explain that my car insurance who organised the car, covers some of the cost already just wanted to charge me extra money. Upon returning the car, complained that there was a drink stain on the floor (was there before and i obviously couldn't get through on the phone to let them know this and that there was rubbish also in the back seat.) was told to clean the car or be charged for the cleaning. so initially after my no-fault accident, my car insurance told me i only need to leave a $100 bond that i will get back and now i am out of pocket $500 Very unprofessional service.
A month ago we hired a KIA Carnival 8 seater for a 500km travel. Once we were on the highway @ about 100km/hr, I (the driver) felt the vehicle pulling to one side and on a rainy day as well. Thought some wheel alignment issue. Once we reached the destination, we found out the front Tyres were about to bust condition - the inner layer of the tyre was visible and all the tyre surfaces like banana skin and a few cracks/holes on the tyre surfaces as well. I couldn't believe how we managed to drive all the way (like a bad dream) and it's a big safety issue - unroadworthy tyres!!! We paid additional cost for road assistance and with their recommendation changed the tyres on our cost and spent 1/2 day of our holiday at the tyre place. Upon reaching where picked up the vehicle, handed over all the papers for reimbursement and the manager assured would be paid in 2 weeks. It's now 4 weeks, more than 5 calls to customer service and i get the same response - "still under review". 1 Europcar provided a very very unsafe car to take for a long-trip. 2. Holding on to my expense for far too long. 3. The manager at the Europcar Paramatta dodging my calls. The worst car hire experience!!! "PLEASE REFUND THE EXPENSE I DID IMMEDIATELY."
If you want to be paying an arm and a leg for the smallest inconveniences, this is the right place. Not only did I receive the car with the cruise control and tyre pressure alert lights on, but I had to be charged $300 just for a CLEAN. If the rental place was in communications with insurance, they would understand that I was basically FORCED to leave work and go straight to Europcar as it was the last day for the rental, but the smash repairers had lead us on and told us last minute it was ready, initially they were going to extend it. The worker inside made me try to go clean the car and told me a place which was completely incorrect. Of course it isn’t their fault, but they did not understand how last minute this was and the car was understood to be extended which changed last minute, so I clearly had no time to go clean it especially because I had work. The worker at Europcar saw I was under stress and still made me drive to 3 different places. They have now charged me $300 for a CLEAN. I am so mortified that for a probably $60 clean they just want to eat your money up for the smallest inconvenience. Really do not recommend this place
I was provided a courtesy car through car insurance from here as I was in a not-at- fault accident. I was given a much bigger car (Kia Sportage) than I requested (a Kia Rio) which wasn’t terrible but I am used to driving very small cars. After one week the rental was extended by the car insurance company by one week. On a Friday at 5.45pm I received a call from Europcar saying that the registration of the car I hired will expire on Sunday, whether I can drop it off either by 6.30pm on the same day, or next day on Saturday for an exchange of a different car. Besides being flabbergasted I explained that I was not able to do so at such short notice. The next day I had another staff member call me on Saturday trying to persuade me to come (by 3pm) and swap it for a registered vehicle. I ended up dropping the car off on Monday after work and decided I couldn’t deal with them and decline another car to continue my rental period. Easier to go without.
Very dissatisfied with my last Europcar experience! - GST charges over 10% discount offered. - Van had its rearview mirrors filthy not allowing to safely change lanes until I stopped at a servo station to clean them. - On pick-up tank was 1/4 (Renault Master tank capacity is 100lt) short as noticed by Europcar staff on checking vehicle conditions, he then suggested to return in the same condition. I am absolutely shure that if done as suggested it would be charged $75.50 extra, I returned it full and received absolutely no discount whatsoever. - Reversing camera is just white, no image at all. It seems to me that Europcar Parramatta is failing to check vehicle conditions as well as maintaining the expected quality. By reading previous reviews I am not alone and strongly suggest to shop on other car rental companies. Used to received good service from Europcar while living in VIC but very disappointing here.
Came to pick up a car on 14/04/2023, had really bad experience with the customer service . Was there early as I had to be somewhere at 10am. first in the line's waiting to be call as all three of staff were at the counter plus a lady in the office. Unfortunately took them half an hour to be call. As I was on the counter another client came. Finish all the paperwork and I was given keys to go and inspect the car. MG3 fuel was two bar off, came back to let them know. Found all three staff were arguing with that client, so I approached the one on far right then I got yeld at by the lady. So I sternly respond that I need to go and car is not full with fuel. She lie in my face, " that's how MG3 are just fill it up on return." I have a picture of before and after when I Fuels it up but couldn't be bothered arguing back. I wouldn't recommend this eurocarsite to anyone due to poor customerservice. .
Very bad experience in hire of Van (1.5tonner). Van would not start 5 time in the 24 hours i hired it. Did not start when i was about to return it so they orgaised to tow it away. Took 4 hours for tow truck to come and then i am informed 18 hours after it was towed away that there is some damage to the VAN. I sent them CCTV of VAN showing no damage before it was towed and asked them for proof from their side...Nothing in last 2 months. (Case number 19HV16991) The only thing i get is $2750 excess charge on my credit card without sending me an invoice and following their own procedure in this sort of matter. (Case number 19HV16991) Case resolution team has shown no willingness to resolve the issue and just acts like a messager with Granville depot. Would expect this sort of service from a backyard operation not a mult-national company. Dont hire from these folks.
I personally would not prefer this service next time. Firstly, while I booked a car from here the app and the receipt which i received was showing different prices. Also, the person at the counter was not aware which price to choose and was not able to explain this. This was really frustrating as it took a long time just to figure out the price. Secondly, the staff at the counter was really rude and I along with my friends got into a heated conversation with him because of the overall issue. Although, I have filled the entire details during booking but still entire information was asked again and needed to be filled at the counter. It took us around 1 hour just to get the keys. Due to staff shortage on a peak day there was a long queue and waiting time kept increasing.
Definitely won't recommend going to europcar. Customer service is good in store except for the manager but guy named Nelson was really helpful finding me van i short notice. I was a long-term commercial rental customer from 2019 and I was hiring 5 to 9 vans consistently every month but realised they have been charging me 141 on top of monthly rental for every van. And returning the vehicle is a night mare especially with manager as he charges you multiple excess for the same van if he finds more than 1 damage which is 2750. Had to pay 4150 for a scrached bumper for small LDV van. So I have returned all the vehicles and took my business to budget where I am getting better rate and had to pay excess once if there is any damage caused.
Good quality of cars, easy to rent, friendly staff, transparent financial policy. I rent a car for going to Jarvis Bay. The car was in good conditions but I did not know how to drive bcz I've never driven car with automatic transmission. Europcar guy explained me how to do it moreover he said I can call him if any problems he will give a taxi I'm 25 old so according europcar site I should pay youth supercharge but in fact I didn't pay it because 25 is not including it. It was good surprise for me since it is around 40$. Actually my first try to rent a car here was unsuccessful since I didn't have translate for my driving license. But I can understand why they declined it. Now I have translation and I can rent.
The customer service here is terrible. There is no logical line or system when waiting to be served. When returning my car early the representative proceeded to argue with me that I will be charged on my booked days and not my return days. Which is different information on what I was giving when I picked up the car. I requested for an invoice. On the invoice it said I was only going to car for the days I had the car which. Therefore I don't understand why he would want to argue with me about this when it invoice clearly stated different. On top of this if that was the case I would suggest that on picking up the car you make it extra clear that you will be charged on book days. Either way terrible customer service
The worst customer service..parramatta has a bunch of liers sitting at their store..i have multiple times booked car via 1300 number and got it cancelled by parramatta store. They keep changing their mind, they called me n said no cars are available and the next moment they asked me if i can pick up the car today evening, i was in dire need of a car for 2 week and i said yeah sure..and then they called me again n said no cars are available. It was so frustrating as they are not even listening to you, not cooperative at all..i went to A2B hire car and literally they delivered the car at my work place..you should learn something from your competitor, customer service is paramount in your line of business..
hi everyone if you like to get a car with mechanic issues and get charge for it later go with this company in(paramatta road) i got a car in afternoon and morning wasn't turning on the guy in office asked me to call road assistant to come and fix it i asked the guy who will pay for it they said company buttttttt when i gave the car back, no one mentioned anything about the extra charge because they new what they are going to do so friendly advice if you really not looking for drama and you don't want to end up with fair trading and fight to get your own money go with better company and make sure doable check everything DO NOT TRUST the person handing the car to you check it before you leave
What a joke this joint is. 30 minutes to get a car and I’m the only customer there. Booked a car 7 days prior and stupidly expected it to be ready, like when you collect one from an airport hire place but not here. the worker goes to the yard and takes pictures of plates of several cars all blocked in by other cars, back in the office and can’t find the keys in the draw to the cars she took pictures of and repeated this 3 times. Then can’t find the keys to the car they allocated to me. Couldn’t use the computer properly then had to move cars to get the one out for me. Car not washed or vacuumed. Avoid this place. I’ve never seen anything so disorganised, and I’ve see a lot.

Ruddest, experience ever. AVOID !! Today I had to pick up a hire car, as my car was written off on a crash. Budget Direct put me onto these people. The only information they gave me was to bring in a physical driver's licence. When I produced it they asked for bank statements, Medicare cards or other things to prove what my photo id stated. HERE IS THE KICKER. Someone else arrived to pick up a car, with only Photo id. I asked why he was allowed to drive away with a car... QUOTE! HE IS A PRIVILEGED CUSTOMER AND DOES NOT JEED TO... unacceptable. Good day. I will let budget direct know how useless you are.
Be careful, apparently this business thinks they have the right to jack up prices after an online booking is made at an agreed price. They cite some contractual right to vary the price after-the-fact depending on market demand, even though their vehicle yard was full of unrented vans (which suggests low demand). I returned the van the next morning and the yard was still full of other unrented vans. I should in fact be getting a lower price for low demand. Also take very very clear before and after photos. I was challenged about a panel damage even though I was given the van in that condition.
I had no issues coz the insurance company organised hire car until my own car was fixed but would i go their not sure, this other customer had such a bad experience, he travelled nearly 2 hrs to get there and they didnt accept anything digital, the man serving him was very rude arrogant and had no compassion and didnt bother in anyway to find another option he simply didnt care and was cold as ice, my heart went out to the young man who was now stranded and trying to figure a way around this stupid red tape that you have to have your bankcard on you, very poor customer service at its worst,
The state of the place is terrible. Both my car and another customers cars werent vacuumed. I asked to use the toilet and it was disgusting. It look like it hadnt been cleaned in weeks. Urine stains on the bowl and seat, it stunk of wee. The bin was overflowing. Seriously shocked at how a manager or employee could let their own work place and facilities get that grubby. Im a young guy and i was shocked. Thats the honest truth. I dont write many reviews but this one was a must for the simple fact that if i can prevent someone else from having that bad experience then i will be happy.
its pretty bad experience for me to hire car from this granville office. first they gave me a different car and i asked on the day of booking for a different car.then they did mistake with dates. the car wasn't clean from inside. then they harrassed me for invoice.first they told me to email me the invoice when i didn't receive the invoice i gave them call and the guy told me to visit office to get the invoice. actually here should be options to give half star for the service which they giving thier customers. really bad service
I was at this place this morning 29 June 2023, Customer service was absolutely terrible! I was served by Mr Pierre! I expressed concerns regarding the size of car ,not a care in the world ,according to him its not something he can help us with ... We had some technical issues instead of trying to help/ resolve the issue we were brushed off .. Only to come back a few hours later to be served by different person who was easier to deal with ! If this wasn't going through, a 3rd party NO WAY WILL I EVER GO THERE OR RECOMMEND ANYONE
I have to deal with this company on a professional level. I have many clients have terrible experiences with this company. Being turned away because they only have their perfectly legal digital licence, being told there is car available and then getting there and there is none available, being called and abused persistently rather then contacting me regarding fee's etc. I feel my upper management needs to change their partnership with this specific centre as nothing seems to ever change after 4 yrs of using them.
worst experience. i tried to rent a van for moving furniture. after rent a van, only moved less than 500m within less than 10minute , while driving the van, it just stoped middle of road. i called them, the answer was i have to call road assitant myself. the fuccing store only 300m away!!!!!. i called road assistaned. while wasting my time, i call back to office it is only 300m from your store, take the van and give me another, the answer was they dont have any other van for replace. worst service and experience
After having a motor vehicle accident, my insurance company arranged a replacement vehicle while mine was in the body shop getting repaired. I was given the details via email that I could pick up a vehicle from Europcar in Granville NSW , the staff there were very good at getting me sorted in no time at all and the car was a newer model and very clean. I returned it and again just a simple look around the car and it was good to go. Highly recommend anyone needing a hire/rental car to use Europcar
Booked a van for 7:30AM I arrive 5 minutes before they open, expecting to pick up the van and leave by 7:40 but that didn't happen. The guy at the counter told me that the van i booked haven't been wash so that took another 30 minutes then he kept on serving other customer after the van was wash and didn't process my paper work which could have been done while the van was being wash. Long story short, booked the van for 7:30AM but didn't get to take it out of the rental until 8:15AM
Go to Hertz or Avis. This place doesn't accept contactless payments. Be prepared to have a physical card because their system is unable to handle an authorisation charge with contactless. I had to pay an extra $50 for Uber to go home and back. The attendant was incredibly nice but this is a failure of the company. UPDATE: When returning the vehicle, the service person was not nice. Sarcastic in her tone and cut me off when I was speaking. Clearly at her wit's end with her job.
Had hired a car from Europcar Granville when my family visited Sydney. I interacted with Mr.Nelson through the hiring process and he was extremely helpful. When I mentioned that we are going on a trip with less then one year olds baby in the vehicle, he immediately gave a brand new car which only had 47km on it. I had no hassle throughout the process and also no issues while returning the vehicle as well. I highly recommend europ cars. Talk to Nelson.
There is no customer service at all. When I arrived, the staff member asked me to wait outside due to cov19, which is understandable. And then he walked out with one of the other customer and then walked to the other vehicle and passed by me. I was totally ignored. So am I transparent? Or am I Asian? So there is even no explanation? No message? Can’t be bothered to say, “ I will be back in 5mins?” Very unhappy. Waited 20mins and still not been served.
Such a horrible customer service. I tried calling 4 times today and everytime I called the operative kept hanging up my call, so rude. Finally when I called the 5th time. He picked up the phone, upon asking him why he hung up my phone so many times. He replied "we are busy that's why I couldn't pick up your phone, what you gonna do about that." Is this anyway to talk to a customer so unprofessional. won't recommend this Europcar to anyone.
They are very clear that any damages or issues with the car will be at the renters expense. Then pull the rental to the exit with other cars behind you leaving you pressured to "get in and go" with out being able to check the car over or even set mirrors correctly, pulled straight onto parramatta road to find the tyre pressure warning light is on and a cruise control fault is active on the dash. Better service at sixt rentals
when I saw the car it was dirty (inside and outside). I told them but I couldn’t argue more since I was late for work (it took more than 30 minutes to get the car). However, the big surprise was when I got home and opened the boot. There was a very huge bag full of garbage in the boot. I called the customer service and sent them the photos of the garbage but they couldn’t care less. I didn’t even get a call back from them.
I had called them today noon and have to say that it seems like the guy there is least bothered about the business.. I called to enquire bout renting a car and getting an idea weather to book online or at the counter there, the guy replied saying leave your best number with us and i will call u back in a minute to give u a good deal... It's more than an hour now and no calls so far... Definitely avoiding this place now.
Was given a car that wasn't meant to be available to the general public once, there was something wrong with it and a technician needed to look at it. Miscommunication and lack of knowledge of proper procedures/policies seems to be the main factor here. Quite unorganised. Decent cars but I would rather go with Thrifty or Avis for overall peace of mind and better service from all their centres.
I had really good experience @Europcar on Parramatta road at Granville. When my insurance company was un helpful and failed to understand situation on ground, the counter staff and store manager at europ car stepped it took a note of my situation and upgraded to me to a higher segment and spacious car for no additional cost . Thanks for the help and service. Good luck guys .
I returned a car here after renting one in Coolangatta. I explained I was informed by their staff that I could return it overnight, having driven 9 long hours south and then found it had no overnight return capacity. The staff here were understanding but could not apply any discount even though I was told they would in the return of my deposit. Very frustrating situation.
I had booked a car from here for a week. My experience was good. There was a little delay in the morning during pick up, as there were many pick-ups, and each of them took a longer time. Other than everything else went smooth. Explained to me the process and charges very well. Car was nearly new, pristine condition, and spotless. No surprise charges after the drop off.

The worst car hire experience I have ever had in my entire life. Don’t waste your time The staff at their are not well trained. The manager wasn’t helpful at all. We hired a Van for 1 day and return them filling up the full tank but some thing is wrong with their own vehicle it was not showing full tank even though we filled all up. Worst experiences ever
Please don't waste your time here. Absolutely worst service I have ever experienced in my years of booking car rentals. Came on a business trip to Sydney for the week, booked ahead of time. Only to find the staff rude, untrained and incredibly inconsiderate. Oh and my booking was apparently cancelled with no prior notice. Thanks for wasting my time guys!
Completely wasted my day, and cost me hundreds of dollars in delayed moving fees and delaying other services because they don’t tell you that they don’t accept a digital drivers license as proof of ID. The state government accepts it, catch up with the times. I’ll never use Europcar again and I’ll tell everyone I can to avoid them as well.
I have never ever had such a bad experience with a hire care branch before. Probably they don’t care for their customers & don’t care for their business. I’ve never used Europcar before so I’ll say considering first experience like this, I’d prefer going to other car hire companies but this one. Never visiting this branch ever again.

Very disappointed with the staff and manager, made us drive a full hour to get the Ms bank card as they only accept deposits with cards and in the customer name. They would not help us by finding a solution. As in accepting my bank card or a cash deposit.. for just a 100bucks. also the car wasn't cleaned properly before pickup
Worst hire car company ever! Rude staff!! Wrong bond amount, tried to charge me extra $300 for bond. Dodgy business. When you drop off car they will try and charge you for small dents and scratches that was previously there. Be careful and take photos before taking the rental, or better yet book elsewhere!!
The workers are very disrespectful and rude have no manners don't like there service at all hat a car for 60 days spent so much money and on top of it they pulled out extra money and blamed me for things that were not true .go someplace else people don't waste your time and money with them.

I paid extra to reduce the insurance excess for 10 days, but they charged me double. When speaking to the Supervisor he straight out did not care and palmed me off to deal with their call centre. I’ve been going back and forth for 7 days now and am still waiting for a refund.
I was trying to drop off the car on public holiday and they were closed when I arrived. on google map, they said they were open but no body pickup the phone. Finally, airport branch pick up the phone and noticed me they only provide after hour drop off on airport branch.
I was charged $1,220 ,was directly debited on a Sunday when they're closed I had no explanation or reasoning why and no receipt On returning a car through insurance the young man who I spoke with was a trainee who clearly had no idea I'm going to demand a explanation

Excellent Service. We went there to pick a car. We were few minutes late but the staff member (I think his name was Fernandos) was really helpful. He opened the system again and gave us the car. Excellent Customer Service.
At first , the insurance ( for zero excess fee ) for their rental car was 11$ a day but when I returned the car , it became 13$ a day . Never mentioned about the renting time frame for rate changes . Won’t hire again.
Very poor service. Asked to change the contract to remove premium insurance and kept refusing to change. Called head office who said no problem but this branch still refused. Do not get scammed by these guys.
Be very careful. When asked if we wanted the extra coverage, you say no. They tick yes, they hand you a complicated form to sign and then they rip you off. cheeky, and protected by a contract. Absolute scam
