I have been Everest Cafe several times in October 2020 and I visited on Tuesday 3rd November 2020 in Mombasa must say it was a excellent experience full of lovely staff assisting me in their quality service & welcoming me into the restaurant. All the staff are very nice helping me order and recommend what is best food & beverages to get as when I came there for the first time to their cafe. I was unsure what to order. I was served Naomi she was fantastic in assisting me and asking any questions or suggestions on what to order and what I would like to eat and drink. The same with Dorcas who was also very helpful and offering outstanding customer services to me. I ordered cereal fruit bowl which was amazing recommended by Naomi as I wanted to try someone new. I had Spanish olmette which was again quality I ate that in October 2020. As well as outstanding breakfast menu, they have great lunch and dinner options along brilliant hot and cold beverages. Brilliant food and drink I spent 2 and half hours relaxing taking in a splendid atmosphere and work ethic of all the staff working at Everest Cafe.The cafe is very lovely atmosphere with how the staff are effective in their services to customers and customers enjoying themselves in a nice cool restaurant. Conclusion I highly recommend anyone to visit this restaurant whether it is by themselves like I did or with friends or family get to experience outstanding services of Everest Cafe situated in Ambalal House, Nkrumah Road in Mombasa Kenya.

Aroma Cafe tried pretty hard to ruin a bright Sunday morning for me, I wouldn't say they did not succeed. The place looked understaffed at first look, half a dozen filled tables and one lady waiting tables. Any way, we go through the menu and decide we want to order Chicken Baharat and Shakshuka along with Coffee and fresh juice. While we order, the waitress tells us she needs to check if Shakshuka is available. Ten minutes later, she tells us there's no Tahini for Shakshuka. And then there's no chicken Baharat either, and there's no fresh juices either. 'Okay, then why are you open today lady?' Nevertheless, We review the menu, and decide to go very safe with Fish and Chips and Quarter chicken. And we thought, okay this can't go wrong now. We get served fifteen minutes later with a very burnt looking fish. Upon inquiring twice why it looks (and tastes burnt), we are first told that it's the breadcrumbs and second that it's how we serve fish and chips. Apparently burnt, and overcooked. 'Okay, that's a good take on fish n chips, but might wanna mention in the menu that it's a burnt version of the global fish n chips.' We decided to not pursue it further and fill our stomachs with the sides of fries and mashed potatoes. The ketchup was pretty watery, not sure what happened there. And then we saw a small cockroach roaming around the floor. Day-made, thanks to Aroma Cafe. And this place appeared in the Top Ten Breakfast places of Mombasa. Wow. Paid 1200/head for an entrée and a drink.

Very bad experience. Literally everything I ordered from the menu was not available and waitresses had no idea what was and was not available. They had to keep checking in with the kitchen and come back 10+ minutes later to tell you what you ordered was not available. Then the one thing (soup) they supposedly did have never arrived. I waited over one and a half hours and my soup never arrived. I finally left hungry and annoyed. I will NEVER return to this disappointing cafe. It seems like they spent all their money on nice decor but forgot all about food and service.

I had expresso to kill depresso.It was as black as night in kichakamkwaju, sweet as sin and strong as love. Adventure in life is good, I tried and enjoyed their cream topped chocolatey mocha.I stayed there for an hour on my laptop.My laptop drinking from their power and connected to the world by their fast Wi-Fi and they didn't look at me badly.What a lovely coffee brown, cream white and golden lit ambiance the cafe has!

Very poor service. We ordered mix tea but was too milky didn't taste like tea. Ordered Spanish breakfast and told them not to put tomato sauce on but they still did and the waiter admitted his mistake in taking the order . And when we asked for Spanish omelette they charged for both yet we didn't eat the Spanish breakfast with tomato sauce. It was ridiculous. I would never go back. Not worth the money and time at all.

For Mombasa standards, the place is slightly expensive. The food is good and the place can be quite crowded or noisy since it is quite popular with the residents as well as tourists. Menu has a good variety to cater for the mixed clientele. They also have good wifi, with speeds of 2MBps which is great for surfers and heavy users alike. Power sockets are few~4

The WiFi works and the coffee's fine,The a.c works really well, it has a good ambiance and the service is excellent.However kitchen wasn't proficient and could be improved on hygiene and quality of food. The menu has all these delicious mouth watering foods. But try ordering something and it's not available. Over half the menu is out of stock or not available! Then when you do find something to order it literally takes over 70 minutes to get rice. Unacceptable by any standard. Terrible service too.

Comfortable seats, decent service and well-presented food. Prices also reasonable. Located in the heart of Mombasa CBD. Had the mutton pilau, chicken with fries and some mocktails. 4/5

Niektórych rzeczy z menu nie było dostępnych, żadnych słodkości, ciast do kawy. Jak dla mnie zbyt mocno działała klimatyzacja. Kawa całkiem ok, samosy też smaczne. Miejsce wymaga odświeżenia.

They were very slow with their service. Had gone early in the morning, since there wouldn't have been many customers, but still was delayed. Didn't receive as per what i had ordered and took the full amount. Very disappointed.

Well the service was really good and the ambiance very conducive for meetings and catching up

Had a lot of meetings there. I was permanent dude and tried not to make any problems. Once they accepted beggar/homeless man who disturbed me. They didn't give a Š*t about this situation

It has a nice ambience inside, the milkshake I had was too thick to drink needed to add water in it, hope it could be changed next time but service is okay.
