I'm new to renting a storage unit and I recently had the pleasure of talking with Roxanne, and I have to say that she is truly outstanding at what she does. I was having issues with making sure i'd be on time to get to the facility before it closed in case I had any questions and I also needed to get my code for all the access points. Throughout the entire process of renting a storage unit, Roxanne went above and beyond to make sure that I had all the information I needed and that I felt comfortable with my decision. She patiently answered all of my questions, provided helpful suggestions, and even told me how to get around the facility over the phone to make sure that I knew exactly where my unit was located. What really stood out to me about Roxanne was her professionalism and her genuine desire to help. She clearly takes pride in her work and cares about her customers, which is all too rare these days. I felt like I was in good hands with Roxanne, and that made all the difference in my experience with Extraspace. Overall, the facility is clean, neat and very easy to get around. I recommend talking with Roxanne if you have any doubts or questions. She is an asset to the company and a true professional in every sense of the word. If you're in need of storage space, do yourself a favor and go see Roxanne – you won't regret it!

I moved from the Sherman Oaks facility. This location is cleaner, safer, and wayyyy more secure - that is the most important aspect. I love that there are (4) access barriers to get into the units… you must enter a code to get into the initial car gate, enter it again for the doors to the building, enter it to gain access to the elevators / stairs, and once your on the elevator it will only stop at the floor your unit is on. The unit doors require a lock that no one can cut off. I really appreciate that this building was planned really well - my mind is at ease now. I was at the Erwin street location several years ago when it was owned by another company and my husband’s things were stolen - so we have trauma with storage units. We then moved to the Sherman Oaks Extra facility where we experienced no theft, but for the first floor buildings you could walk right in once you’re past the car access gate - left me uneasy. I ultimately left because my rental rates over there kept climbing. Hector who helped me out during my move in day was was really helpful and nice too! Lastly, they don’t lock away the carts like the Sherman Oaks facility - if the offices wasn’t open, you weren’t able to use one. I eventually had to buy my own dolly / lay flat cart from Costco to leave in my unit.

Hector was absolutely great and a gentleman. The call center girl was honest and polite. I am so glad I ended up here. It's a safe place not a dangerous experience. The other 2 storage centers Public and Trojan, we're not being honest at all with what you were renting. They were purposely deceptive at how they worded their sentences. They neglected to tell you that the storage unit that you saw in the ad was 8 ft up in the air and you needed to use a ladder to get to it, carrying your boxes up the ladder and then placing them into the unit. If you didn't have a ladder, you couldn't get to the unit, plus you need a strong man to lift those boxes up and down the ladder, and hopefully he doesn't fall off the ladder. So once I arrive at the storage unit and I saw what I was faced with, they offered me a more expensive unit. I new I was being mislead. When people are moving they expect to know everything so that their move is smooth and easy, not a nightmare. Like I said, I'm glad I landed at this extra space storage unit.

I’ve had such a great experience with this storage facility so far. Everything is super clean and brand new, which is kind of rare in most facilities. I have been to places where it was visibly filthy and not kept up and you can see cockroaches and other vermin. So I really appreciate the time and effort they put into keeping it clean. I’ve recently fallen upon some hardships, and they have been extra helpful and kind in making sure my unit is taken care of without stressing me out and making me feel inadequate like other facilities had done in the past! I appreciate the service and will recommend this place to friends and family. Also my monthly rent is 40% if not more less than comparable units in the area so you’ll definitely save some money!

Hector, THE MANAGER AKA the BARON… is the Boss, the Man and Legend. He solved and personalized my need to store my useless and very useful belongings and extras. Some how I paid for two units at once because I’m baller …. Hector came to the rescue with ease and a flick of a finger returned extra funds and solved my problems. He even called me and booked my whole experience so that I wouldn’t stress. NEW CAR SMELL UNITS! GREAT COMPETITIVE PRICES! SECURE AUTO POLICE CALLING FUNCTION! GREAT UNPICK-ABLE VENDING MACHINE TYPE LOCK TECHNOLOGY! SAY LESS!

My daughter and I went here last May 18 to check the place coz we are planning to move our stuff from the other storage facility. We met an absolutely outstanding manager at Lake Balboa Ca. Hector, He maintains a spotless, well-lit, secure facility. Hector's ability to create a comfortable, warm, and friendly environment is remarkable! He's dedication to his craft as he expresses zeal, compassion, and a knowledgable skill set is sincerely and genuine. HIGHLY recommended this company and location.

I would highly recommend this facility for all of your storage needs. Hector is managing a great staff. He saved us a unit over the phone after discussing our needs. When we got there, Rosa helped us out and she was professional and very efficient. We were in and out of there with our unit within 20 mins. I visited a few places, but nothing compares to this facility’s location, safety, cleanliness, and especially Hector, Rosa, and the whole staff!

My mom and I went here to check the place coz we are planning to move our stuff from the other storage facility. We met Hector the manager on site he is so friendly and helpful. He is smart and efficient at his job. We were given a tour and the place is very clean and has good parking space. He also cared whether we got the instructions correct. Everything was well explained. Very excellent experience in all ways. I would highly recommend.

Very nice facility. New, clean and fresh. They have restrooms on each floor which is a huge plus if you are sorting out your storage for a few hours. I’ve been using a lot of other self storage locations and none of them have that, or that you will have to go to the office. The manager Hector is kind, generous, professional and diligent. He gave the best customer service and really cares about his customers. Highly recommend!

Excellent location, new locations and excellent customer service by the manager Hector. After 3 months of service with them, they raise the rental price without completing at least one year, they offer only things to attract the customer but then change the conditions without any explanation, it is a bad move on the part of this company and they are not clear with the conditions from the beginning. I no longer recommend it.

I love extra space storage and especially this location on woodley ave Rosa and Hector the manager are every friendly and professional and welcoming I feel well taken care of here. Plus I feel SAFE! Chose this place over a few other storages I checked out..great manager Hector who was happy to show us a few sizes making sure we got the best size for us and very helpful with any questions we had.We also liked the appearance and cleanliness this place had unlike some other storage units we've come across in the past.Highly suggest this location :)

My experience has been stress free. I greatly appreciate their help throughout the whole process of moving everything in and out of their facility. We had an issue where they started charging us significantly more than what we signed up for after a few months of being there and after talking with Hector he quickly solved the issue. He does a great job of helping the customer and keeping the place in top notch. If you can, rent with him.
