BEST STORAGE FACILITY EVER. I called the customer service line here one night after seeing my old storage facility in person for the first time and freaking out (it was horrible). The team at Extra Space Storage came to the rescue! The man on the customer service team (I wish I remembered his name) took his time to help me find an amazing deal (money was tight because I already committed to paying for the old storage unit with a different company that I did not like - my old storage company was not in a safe building/area and very dirty and I did not realize this when booking). I got an AMAZING deal. He locked in the rate for me and Stacy of the 808 rome location called me promptly in the morning to set everything up. He calmed all my nerves after my bad experience with a different company. EVERYONE here goes above and beyond for their customers. He let me do a contactless set up where he left my lock and keys in my unit and emailed me all the necessary codes. The building is so clean and new!! I’m also pretty sure they had Kelly Clarkson playing on the radio here. I feel completely safe here which was my number one concern being a woman in my 20s. LOVE THIS PLACE!! This is my first time putting my things in a storage facility and the stress of that and moving has been so overwhelming. Thank you for making this such an easy process. I reserved the unit online, received a call the same day from Robert. Robert answered all my questions and we discussed my arrival in Tampa first week in May. Went into facility on May 6, Stacy was professional and pleasant. Stacy showed me the locker, then we took care of the rental process. Very nice facility and professional staff. Only negative was that the sliding door used from the parking lot wasn't operational two days after rental began. Could have been fixed quickly, I really don't know as I was done moving in on the day it wasn't operational. Side entrance wasn't as convenient, but not a big deal. Overall very happy with the facility and staff.

Best. Customer. Service. Ever. I believe excellent customer service is rooted in the Extra Space Storage corporate culture. First Robert, and now Stacy- they both have gone out of their way to meet the needs of the customer. What are the chances an Iphone would fall down that half-inch dark elevator space as you’re getting on the elevator? Happened to me. My phone slipped from my hand and fell beneath the elevator. Stacy took the time, right at closing, to figure out a way to fish it out. Grateful is an understatement. Thank you Stacy! Looking to store? We went to Extra Space after a terrible experience with Public Storage when they denied our reservation on a falsely advertised promo rate, leaving us scrambling days before our move. Extra Space worked with us quickly to secure a location closer to us, with a matching promotion and offered so much flexibility. We ended up needing 2 additional units on the day of our move and they were able to accommodate and match our low rate. I highly recommend Extra Space not only for the value in price, but in safety, convenience and friendliness of the staff.

I checked with two other storage facilities in the area before deciding to go with this location and this company. Extra space offered the best online rates and once I met the manager I was sold. He went above and beyond the call of duty, was very accommodating and a great communicator. His name is Stacy and Stacy cares a lot as if he was the owner - yet he is not. That’s always a great sign. I will continue to do business with this location of Extra Space Storage well into the future.

Both the manager and the person working the desk the day that I arrived were great. They proactively communicated every step of the way to make sure no unforeseen mishaps occurred. I really appreciate not having to play a guessing game and make sure I was asking the right things, they volunteered the information and allowed me to focus on everything else about the move. The facility is clean, well-lit, and always has carts at every entrance to use. I am very happy with my choice

The Facility is excellent- very clean, new, great units, very accessible. I have done a good amount of business with them and Eddie the manager is fantastic to work with. He is great at follow up and making sure everything is all set from a good unit to billing. I have never had a problem because he and the staff makes sure nothing goes wrong. Wouldn't want to store my things anyplace else in Tampa or work with someone else. Highly recommend this location!

I must say Michael was a big help i work in customer service that involves upselling and i know the game ....i also have a sense of judgement when people are just trying to get more money out of me for unnecessary things....and this was not the case ! He helped us find what was best and helped us save on every thing he could ....i wish all people were this way when it came to business i would highly recommend extra space storage!

Life Storage is hands down THE BEST storage location in all of Tampa, coming from a Tampa native. Julian and Dave are incredibly caring, helpful, and patient. Customer service has been nothing but spot on. They have quick and easy online reservations, extremely clean units, monthly withdrawal text notifications and even a bathroom! I had a wonderful experience with extra space storage from the first phone call to excellent service, explanation and finding the perfect storage size and price for me upon my arrival. The entire place is extremely clean new with easy access . I left happy and excited about my new space and how it would help me during and after my move .

I rented a bigger storage unit do my boyfriend and I could combine ours and found a great deal at life storage! It’s very close to our new house so made it an easy choice! Julian helped me at the front desk and was fantastic! He was very thorough with his walk through, explained everything in detail and answered all the questions I had!

The facility is clean but that's all I like about them. I can't access my account online and have spent HOURS on the phone over the last few months trying to correct it. Their bathrooms are always locked so you have to hope the guy at the front desk is available to get you in. I liked them better when they were "extra space storage".

The customer service at this storage unit is top notch. Ted was so helpful and stayed a little after to close to make sure my rental agreement (that I had messed up) was all set and ready for me to move in the next day. I have rented at multiple places and the accessibility and hospitality here is the best I have experienced.

I used Extra Space Storage for my daughter who’s a student at UT and they have been exceptional. Any time I had a question or need they were always more than happy to help. I highly recommend them. They’re the best!! Also very close to University of Tampa which made moving in/out easy.

Pretty good deal going on right now at Life storage first month's free but you got to buy your lock you got to pay for insurance and the processing fee which came out to 65 dollars and $0.77 which wasn't a bad deal and that's for a 5x5 storage monthly charge on that will be 102.55

The best experience I have had with customer service. Eddie was great. I told him I was referred and I received a month free. He explained everything to me was super nice. If you have storage needs this is the ace to come ask for Eddie he will talk great care of you.

Excellent facility! We have had our storage unit for the last year and could not have been happier. Facility was super clean, easy access and the office staff very helpful and friendly. If we ever need a storage unit again we will use Lifestorage on Rome Avenue.
