Nadia assisted me yesterday with the transfer from one unit to my new unit and the transition was very smooth and very timely and I was very surprised at the time and efficiency in the professionalism that she did the transaction smoothly very informative and very swiftly save me a lot of time and I got my things moved in and I was glad that I was able to get it done one day. Plus Nadia was able to give me a great discount at my request for a smaller unit something that fit my budget plus I love the late hours they're open till 8 p.m. nightly even tho the office closes early .extra space storage makes it possible for us to have longer hours knowing people have to work until 5 or 6 p.m. so we have at least an hour or two to go to our storage if we need that extra hour or two to do so great company to do business with I recommend it for anyone that's looking for a storage unit this is the best one i-Rate it at 10 stars I give Nadia 100 stars she's very polite respectful and has a great personality willing to work with you help you find the best deal possible or a better person to help me make my move smooth have a great day. I came back to LA after a seven-month stint in San Francisco. I was initially at a different location and had a wonderful experience there. However, I need it flexibility with the hours that I could access my unit. I am a hard-working media professional and a chaplain to celebrities so my work requires me to travel quite a bit. I came to this location and was immediately greeted with a warm hug from Christian. I knew her from her visits to the other location and she has always been amazingly warm and friendly. She immediately took me back to the unit and showed me where I would be able to store my extra items. When the manager arrived, he was just as amicable in his greeting with me. I had a bottom unit, which is much more convenient for me and they also accommodated me by giving me a brand new lock since the access on my new unit was damaged. I already feel much more comfortable in this location due to the area and the safety precautions that are clearly already in place. This will absolutely accommodate my hectic schedule and it puts me at ease at the same time. Again, the staff is second to none and I highly recommend them for all of your storage needs. Five stars are simply not enough! Please come see them and tell them that I sent you!

I've been using Extra Space Storage since November of 2018. I appreciate the amenities and the fact that the building has an enclosed parking space, especially when we get inclement weather. Never had any issues with these guys and I had a great interaction with Scott, one of the managers running the facility now. I relocated to another Extra Space building in Newbury Park to be closer to my property and Scott made the transition a breeze, helping save money along the way. I had already paid this month's rent and I wanted to see if I could save on paying for both storage locations within the same month. The NP manager called over to Scott and I followed up. To my relief and pleasant surprise, Scott set me up with a refund of money for February that I'd recently paid. He was personable, kind, and flexible in conversation. He was especially understanding during the current pandemic climate we're all surviving in. It's interactions like these that give me faith in staying with a brand over different locations. I was even honored the promotional move-in rate for the NP location for the next four to six months. Can't beat that in my book. I don't feel like a "just another number." Thanks Scott!

I’ve never put my stuff into storage before and I was nervous going in. Nadya was so professional and knowledgeable I was in good hands from the minute I walked in. She clearly knows the business; she showed me multiple good options for my situation and gave me different options for payment/deals also. The location seems very secure; my mind is totally at rest, with key codes in and outside the facility. The facility is easy to use, with dollies in house for free use, and it’s easy to maneuver through the hallways. I’m also impressed with how much I was able to pack into the 5x5 space - if you’re willing to put in a little elbow grease you can pack away a LOT in one of the higher units, where it’s stackable. I totally recommend Nadya and the Hollywood Extra Space Storage!

This was by far the best customer service I have ever experience. Scott was the most helpful guy I could have possibly asked to have help me move in. He made the process extremely easy and took so much stress off of me for making sure I had the reservations available that I needed while dealing with a move. I currently have two storage units with the far inferior Public Storage, and because of this experience will be moving out of my Public Storage units and into Extra Space Storage. I cannot thank Scott enough for his help, and am also grateful to the Extra Space Storage company for employing such professional and expert individuals with their company. Thank you Scott!

I highly recommend this storage location. I called around and found it to be the cheapest in the area. Scott (the building manager) was super friendly, helpful and very informative. He showed me all the storage sizes that were available, making it easy for me to choose the best fit for what I needed. Scott made the sign up process easy and fast. Access to the building is easy and the schedule is excellent 6am-8pm 7 days a week! The building is extra clean and neighborhood is safe. I recommend this place to anyone looking to save money, a safe location and a friendly staff.

Martin helped me out. Got me a great deal on a unit. It worked perfectly for my amount of belongings. I had a bit of a hectic week when I moved out. I was relieved to hear when I finally remembered to call in about me having vacated that Martin had taken care of it for me. He's the best! Ask for him! Location is clean, convenient, and safe. There are homeless people in the area, but hey, you're in LA. They're all super sweet, respectful people and just turning in recyclables at the center next door. I'd definitely use this place again. I had a great experience at Extra Space thanks to Martin, the manager. Everything was very clearly explained from the beginning and when I was ready to move out several months later he again helped me make the whole process easy -- especially considering I had to coordinate from afar another moving company to come and pickup my belongings without my being there. Thank you Martin for your integrity and attention to detail in helping me make this a smooth process!! Plus, all of my belongings were safely stored and everything was in good condition.

Went in this weekend to do a walk through and sign-up thanks to Scott the manager, who was extremely warm, professional, and put my worries to rest! The facility is clean, well-organized, has parking, and is in a safe area (bordered by a major hospitals, residential and commercial spaces, as well as one of the Scientology complexes, which means there will always be security on the lookout) . Other patrons were wearing masks and seemed to be conscientious folks! I am looking forward to a fruitful experience with Extra Space. Thanks, Scott.

I have used this space for a year but they continually raise the rates for my 5x5 unit. Given that, I can't recommend this for anything other than short term storage, maybe a few months tops. Would strongly recommend AGAINST storing a lot of things here that you wouldn't be able to move out quickly, as that could force you into the rate increase. There are other storage facilities in the area that offer comparable service for lower prices. So deff do some investigation! Staff has always been very helpful and the facility itself is fine.

Scott was so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He walked me through the whole (simple) process of getting in and escorted me right to my unit, explaining security protocol and answering all of my questions with amiable ease. The booking process over the phone was also lovely - everybody was just as pleasant and assistive as Scott was in person. The unit itself was clean and the whole building appeared tidy and well taken care of. How goofy — but I’m excited to store my things with this particular branch of Extra Space Storage.

My experience… was absolutely AMAZING!! Scott assisted me and my mother on a possible transfer to a smaller unit which we then decided to stay with our current unit… He was able to assist me with a refund for the smaller unit I had already paid for and let your system know that we are staying with our current unit he was very polite patient and made me laugh over the phone during the whole process. I came here to help my grandmother empty out her storage unit as she is now 83 and her husband had passed. Scott immediately came to help us make sure we had our gate codes and knew how to use the facility and helped us every step of the way. It made this difficult move that much easier with all his help and so I would definitely recommend using this storage facility because you will get all the hell and guidance you need in order to make the storing process that much easier. As many others have said, the manager and whole staff here is really awesome. It makes such a huge difference and is really a pleasant experience. They even gave me a heavy discount after the elevator was broken for 2+ months after the heavy rains. However in the 12 months that I've had this unit, my rate has increased over $80. A 30% increase in one year. I chose this spot because it was the cheapest in the area but now I'm wishing I'd gone somewhere else with more consistent pricing.

Update: Martin is still the best but he went to a different site. Now we have Scott. He is also amazing. He takes his time to answer questions as well as finding solutions. I really recommend this place for any storage needs. Not many others have such good communication and professional individuals. Martin is the best. He helped me pick the right size unit AND the right price. He is always around when you need him. I wouldn't store my stuff anywhere else

Martin was such a pleasure to work with! As an event producer, I am always shipping items all over the country and always seem to have trouble with my storage units. BUT I never had an issue with Martin, he always assured me my carriers dropped off my boxes to my unit and was extremely on top of everything. Him and his team were always very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be working with this storage facility next time I need one in the LA area.

This review is overdue. I have been with Extra Space Longer than I would like to admit. But the reason I stay with them is because the service is good and they respect you. Scott is a noble man. He is always fair. If you have to do storage, they are a good choice. And just to update this review 11/4/2023: I'm still here. I've had several units and the service Scott provides is still Amazing. If you have to do storage come here. You will not be disappointed.

Had a great experience renting from this facility the Associates Beth was amazing she was very knowledgeable answered all my questions and made my selection to choose my storage unit very easy and accommodating me and my needs. Also too the facility was very clean compared to every other place that I've had to rent a storage unit from normal either gross and nobody Suites or picks up and this place was very clean. We’ve had a Great experience at this location for the last 4 years. It is secure, safe, cool, and clean. Also, it is the most affordable storage space facility in all of Hollywood, with decent access hours. Recently, their professional and knowledgable store manager, Nadya, was able to assist with placing us into a smaller space, as we have been able to gradually consolidate and rid ourselves of unnecessary items. Highly recommend this location.

I cannot speak highly enough of the manager Scott. He went completely above and beyond to make my moving process as easy as he could (and it was not easy). He watched the moving truck while I led the movers to the unit, he patched up one of the movers with antiseptic and bandaids when he accidentally cut himself, he made me feel so much more comfortable when I had to make this last minute pivot. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent service from Beth at this location. She was very thorough and detailed with my particular storage situation, which was a bit complex due to my travel plans. But she made sure everything would run smoothly in terms of my schedule for moving things into storage. Also very helpful about explaining insurance. She's friendly, knowledgable and welcoming, and makes ExtraSpace feel very customer- and service-oriented.

I have rented from this facility twice. Once about four years ago and recently now that property is under new management. Both times were great experiences. The new manager, Beth, was very patient and even stayed a few minutes past closing to help me and another remaining customer. The property is clean, reasonably priced, and easily accessible. It’s easily the best storage company to rent from in the area.

1st impression was great. I signed my lease and wanted to drop off some stuff before closing. I saw Scott, thinking he may have been gone for the day. I went into rent a 3 x 4 unit and all I can say is Scott was literally the best! He took care of me and was so kind - such a understanding and gentle soul and was so understanding when I asked to cancel the lease as the unit placement wasn’t practical for my needs, he still made sure I was set up, put me at ease and helped me reverse my lease all in under 20 minutes. This is the best storage facility I have ever used. And it is mainly because of who is managing it. Scott Scott is one of the nicest caring people I have ever met. He is so accommodating and welcoming to me and every time I see him he is always upbeat happy and always wanting to please. No need to look anywhere else in Hollywood for storage space. Yeah myself in the stores there I keep losing my locks they keep on cutting them off for me that's pretty cool I like that actually it's a good deal but don't like how it gets more expensive as time goes by I got to hurry up and get my stuff out of there other than that the guy that works there the staff he's been pretty cool because he's had to cut my lock off like 20 times

Moving is incredibly stressful. One of my least favorite things about being an adult human. This was my first time renting a storage unit and it couldn’t have gone any smoother. The manager’s name is Scott and my god, he’s so good at his job and helping anxious people feel calm about the moving process. I feel so good about my belongings being in Extra Space Storage.

Getting the perfectly sized storage locker was very easy. Scott explained how to operate the lock. All was smooth. The best is that I drive up to the building, put in the gate code, drive inside, the gate closes, I load or unload items, use the gate code to open the gate, and then I safely drive out the gate & go on my way. I feel very safe during the whole process.

Im so grateful to Extra Space storage for making things so easy as I transition out of my place. Beth the CSR was especially attentive and super informative - providing excellent customer service (something I seriously did not expect to experience). I’m so glad this place is in East Hollywood. I had a great experience with Scott today. He was very nice and helpful to me. He was very accommodating. He showed me the storage in and out. How to get in and out. He made our transaction very smoothly. The one thing that stand out to me he was very respectful to the homeless guy who was sitting on the parking lot to move because he was on the parking spot.

Was looking for a secure place to store some extra stuff for a few months.. Scott the manager was great, helpful and I didn't even mind his dad jokes (just kidding) he actually should get on stage and be a comedian on his days off... Keep in mind, it's a busy neighborhood so you're paying a premium rate for storage units that may be smaller than what you're used to. However, it fits our needs and the facility is well run.

For the price this storage facility is great! I have a 5x10 unit and I was nervous that it doesn’t have a rolling door but it was fine! The indoor parking is very convenient and only once have I gone and there weren’t any rolling carts available. Friendly staff, safe and convenient!

My experience was great because I was able to communicate and have a clear understanding and choosing a storage the same day. The place is clean, neat, and convenient to communicate with the manager. Martin and Christianna were present in the building leaving a good experience.

I’ve had my things at Extra Space For the past 3 1/2 years. In that time I’ve been a few different units based on my changing needs. Scott, the manager, has always been genuinely friendly, but more than that he always acts with a sense of urgency when taking care of a client.

This place had a deal for the one first month so it was a pretty reasonable price for the first month and if I choose only to stay for that first month I can get out of it and I have to pay any penalties or anything so all in all it was a good choice of mine
