I have been using WF for about a month now and I really like this service. The food tastes great and is made locally so its fresh when they ship it, they pack in microwave safe containers and is delivered in insulated bags with ice packs. I love just grabbing a container from my fridge or freezer and tossing into microwave, 2-3mins bam! I am eating a freshly cooked meal that is also healthy. works best for me since I have always been a freezer to microwave kind of person when it comes to eating. In May I started a minimal workout routine in combination with my diet of mostly WF meals, I have lost 20lbs without sacrificing the convenience of my eating habits. New routine of buying 15 meal bundle, throwing them into the freezer, pull out a few per day into the fridge and I am good to go. Cost per meal is cheaper than eating out which is what I did alot of before hand. Thank you Warriors Fuel. My only personal complaint is many of the meals they make for meal bundles is a too spicy for me, but at its always flavorful and not bland.

I’ve decided to try this meal service after a friend recommended it. It’s been 5 weeks i’m getting the meals from them. To be honest, for the first couple of weeks the food was great both in terms of quality and quantity. But from third week onwards, i’ve had issues with the chicken meals. I’ve collected the meals on the same day it was prepared but their chicken was overcooked and I totally get fact that once in a while you can get disappointed by any meal service. So my friend and I left a feedback at the reception letting them know about the overcooked chicken and placed another order for the following week. The staff was very responsive and we were assured that the meals will be properly cooked. Once again we faced the similar issue (especially with their chicken & rice and hustler chicken). Not really sure if the feedback was ever communicated to the cook.

quality of meals is questionable. at first it was great, but eventually it felt like the quality went down. i'm sure they're great people, but feel like the food is not up to par. Was planning to buy from there weekly before i noticed the quality drop. Edit: the response needs to be better beyond "there's no proof of you visiting". I was a customer between 2019 and 2020 right before the pandemic. I don't have exact dates, but I'm also not interested in trying to prove if I visited or not. I only visited the location off 87th street. I have done walk in orders and even ordered a meal pack of 15 meals online. After the 15 meal pack order I stopped visiting because I thought the quality was sub-par . I'm sure youre a nice a person, but I just didn't like the food and wanted to share my experience. Thanks!

They no longer have the Build a Meal option, which definitely saddens me. Every meal is already pre-portioned out for me and I know all my macros - but not necessarily the best for prep anymore. Many of their meals have changed , removed sauces. I ordered a few of the chicken tacos because I loved the ingredients and sauce, but apparently they no longer have the sauce, but it is still portrayed in the picture and my taco meals came with barely any onions/peppers. Mongolian Beef is still really good and I also really enjoy the chipotle bowl. The fajita bowl use to be a flatbread and should definitely have stayed that way - the sweet potatoes are not a good compliment for the meal. Updating my review as things have changed and after this order I am slightly disappointed.

Food was decent for what it is, but the service was below average, if not outright poor. Also, I read through some of the reviews, and I couldn't help but notice that the responses from Fuel Cafe can be very combative and strange. I will not be going back, which is unfortunate because it's hard to find healthier food choices in this area. Update: What a weirdo response. Lol Take the L dude: Your food wasn't very good and your service sucked. Rather than use this to improve, you attempt to intimate me by trying to describe my truck, etc? That's sort of psycho, my friend. Have a nice day and go touch grass. Update: They smartly deleted their response where they called out what they thought was my car color. Super psycho/stalkerish. Made me feel unsafe.

I really like this place!! I love their smoothie bowls and think they have a lot of offer since there isn’t like a bunch of healthy places around. My only feedback is one of the signs hung up really rubs me the wrong way. It’s one that says like “Calories: the tiny monsters that sew your clothes tighter each night” or something like that. For me I feel like in a healthy food environment it can create harmful ways of thinking and promote ED mentality. I understand it’s apart of the community in general though so I don’t think this business is to fully blame. If it was taken down or something though I think it would be beneficial for creating a more positive environment. It could be triggering for some people.

Came in today for the first time and THIS PLACE IS THE BESSSSSSTTTT! First off, the ladies working today were so kind and welcoming!! Second, the food is DELICIOUS!! We paid around $36 for 2 (very filling) hot meals, and 2 sale priced meals for later!! I am so glad we tried this place! We will be coming back! Great vibes, great staff, delicious healthy food!

The food is delicious, perfect, fresh, and never miscooked. I've loved everything I've tried. The portions are amazing and I can easily split with my two toddlers and feel guilt free and they love it also. The acai bowls are phenomenal, I've enjoyed every smoothie, the tea is delicious. The drinks are pretty large. The watermelon juice was fresh, they gave me so much! The price is also on point. It feels so much better to get local dinner than running to McDonald's and I know it's still fresh and as healthy as meals I would make at home but save so much time! I love this place.

Everything I've ever bought here has been dang delicious. It does seem expensive at the time; when I think of how much I spend on groceries, grub hub and fast-food this place truly is the better economic option . I'm starting to lose the last of my baby weight from delivering twins because I have something delicious in my fridge to eat instead of getting trash-quick-cheap food. In the past, food that I warm in the microwave feels like I'm settling and I'm unsatisfied. Warm these babies up in the microwave, and you would think I had a private chef! I know I sound corny, but I'm dead serious-no cap.

I have been using Warrior Fuel for a few years now. While their food has always been great tasting to me, they have improved these last few months 10 fold. Not only is the presentation of their food better but they have added so much more such as Building your own meal, ordering meat in bulk or ordering meals a la carte. As long as you order by 3:00 pm on a business day your food will be ready the following day after 1:00. I don't think you can get anymore convenient at that! I LOVE going home at night after work and the gym knowing my food is ready to eat and enjoy AND it's HEALTHY!

I've been using these meals for almost a year. I usually order online ( unless I forget) and go in to pick them up. My order is always bagged, labeled and ready to go. I have been missing a meal once or twice but that issue is always quickly and happily fixed. The staff are always friendly and the food is always good. Definitely a quality solution to eating healthier without having to meal prep and eat the same meal for a week. On the rare occasion that I forget to order ahead of time, they always have a stocked cooler with plenty of options. Get the protein toast... its my favorite.

My girlfriend and I are seriously pressed for time, but still need to eat! This meal prep service has seriously tasty, healthy and affordable options for us. We have tried probably 8 or 10 different meals with them and we both love each of them. The food is not dry when you reheat, the nutrition is posted on each meal with the date it was prepped, and they freeze well. We have also tried the power bites that are absolutely DELICIOUS. Honestly, if you are looking for healthy, quick meals at an affordable price - look no further.

I've never had as much success as I do currently with Warriors Fuel. The ease of ordering, and pick up makes my life super simple. The food is some of the best I've ever had. Quite simply the variety from meal to meal is unprecedented. The cost is actually saving me money, as the meals are cheaper on average than stopping for a salad, or drive through. To date Warriors Fuel has played a pivotal role in losing over 60 pounds in 5 months. Secondary thought. Those blueberry pancakes are effing amazing...

Warrior Fuel has single handedly been the best investment I could have made for my body, mind, and time. I work almost 60 hours week in a job that requires me to be at full mental focus which leaves me little time to prepare my own meals. The food they craft is healthy and easy to prep when I have to be at my best, and if your looking for the best it’s here. Kind and friendly, with quality in mind, Warrior fuel is the only and best option when it comes to meal prep out here. Highly recommended.

Went in to get a smoothie and it was half way full. I decided to go back inside to explain the issue and the staff is truly amazing. They remade the drink for me, and had excellent customer service. I wasn’t even expecting any coupon, but they were super nice and gave me one for my next visit. The smoothie was also very delicious and refreshing. Thank you so much for the great experience! The food quality was good. A little pricey for the portions but I ate a customized meal so I can’t speak for the other options. The food is healthy which of course is more expensive. This chicken teriyaki is probably the best thing that I have eaten for lunch in a long time. I could eat it every day. I will be back to stock the fridge. Due to the pandemic, and having a daughter with heart issue that is high risk for bad results if she contracts Covid-19 , we have not eaten in a restaurant since March 12, 2020. The kids were getting tired of fast food take out, and Fuel Cafe has such a wide variety of menu items that we can keep it fresh and healthy! Thanks!

I started getting these meals a couple weeks ago and fell in love! The beef and dirty rice was the best in my mind, but then yesterday I was warming up my meal and I stirred it and saw something very concerning. It was literally the biggest vein I have ever seen and I immediately lost my appetite. After that I really started to question the quality of the meat used because I have never seen that before and I was really freaked out. Didn't have any complaints until then.

Well for starters I'll never be able to rate the food because it never got deliverered. But what I can rate is their customer service, which is extremely lacking. I got no answers into why my food wasn't delivered, except oh that's weird I'll look into it. I was told I would get a refund within a few days, 4 days later I called and was told they didn't know what happened and they'd look into it. It's a week later and still no refund!

The food is nearly always good, but, I just learned from the owner that unless you are a known customer with an account, they don't tell you that the meals are prepared only once a week. I just picked up 9 meals prepared on 12-16 that will expire in 2 days. I had not previously received food this old.

Between work and kids I was really struggling with trying to eat health. A friend suggested Warrior Fuel last year and i was worried about it costing to much. I decided to try it in January and i am glad i did. Food is great and it gives me more time to hangout with my family after work. Honestly on the cost it is the same or cheaper for me. No more over buying food or thrown out leftovers. Really glad I switched to Warrior Fuel.

1/24/2022, sole lady preparing food behind the counter kept sticking her ungloved fingers in her mouth while handling foods. This is unsanitary and a violation of food safety laws. Edit: Also, read some of the company responses to negative reviews. They sound like petulant children with even less sense of accountability. Avoid. Double edit: lol, check out the lying owner's response to my review. Sure buddy.

I’ve been sending my personal training clients your way and the food is great by them. Unfortunately having a bad service experience this week. Meals out of stock and I can’t get ahold of a single person at any one of the local locations and it’s still well within business hours. Making it really hard to promote you guys to my personal training clients as they rely on a service like this to stay on track.

Fuel Cafe just opened June 1st next door to my favorite Starbucks, so I stopped in to see what they were offering. I was met promptly with a smile and was given a tour and overview of the menu. I picked the breakfast burrito from the grab n go and it was delicious! Happy to have great tasting, healthy food so close to Gladstone! Also happy to see they will be offering hot meals as well as grab n go.

I have NEVER been disappointed in any meal from Warriors Fuel! My favorite is chicken and rice! The chicken is SOOO TENDER and the rice is slightly flavored and OUT OF THIS WORLD. My boyfriend is partial to the Mongolian Beef and Broccoli. It is a great way to eat a grab-and-go meal with all of the nutrition information provided right on the package making logging your food a breeze!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the best meal service in Kansas City! After trying KC Meal Co and being left disappointed, I had a few friends recommend Warrior Fuel. I have yet to taste anything that I did not like! Portions are great and flavor is great! I would recommend this to anyone who has a busy schedule or does not want to eat the same meal prep day after day. Warrior Fuel has been a game changer!

I LOVE this place. As a mom with a toddler that never stops moving and a passion for fitness these meals are perfect! Healthy, delicious meals that can be warmed up and eaten on the go if needed. Planned to eat here yesterday, when I got there they had nothing available at lunch time, no salmon, no vegetables, no peppers and onions, only rice & sweet potatoes. Only one person working stating they were trying to make more food. Tried to sell me some overcooked shriveled green beans in the bottom of the dish. I left and went somewhere else, don't plan to return here.

I can't get enough of this place!! Used to shop with them when they were on N Oak behind the gym. Now they've upgraded their location AND their menu. Truly one of the best businesses in Kansas City, period. I am always recommending them to friends. The new Aqua Frescas are great and the meals are as amazing as they've ever been. SUPPORT THIS PLACE! You won't regret it!

A little hard to find but here is a picture ! It is between MOD pizza and Starbucks. Staff was smiling and polite that’s always a plus! Everything I tried I liked. It is convenient for me to be able to get good macros and I like the $5 option on the bottom shelf too so I can get regular priced and those and still have a bill that’s not through the roof!

Very impressed. Food was amazing. The service was fantastic. The young man who made my salad was professional and kind. The young lady who took my money was so helpful, even volunteering to help me to my table. Very happy.

I love this place! I track my macros and if I eat 3 of these everyday for my meals it hits my number goals perfectly. All of the nutritional facts are on each container made easy for tracking. They also give a free power protein bite when you go in to pick up your order. Great people striving to be better every day just like me. Highly recommend!

Meals are always great!!! I'm always on the go often skipping meals because I feel like I just don't have the time to eat. Now I can just grab a meal and take it with me and get the nutrition I need quickly even on the go. Meals are perfectly portioned and very appetizing. Food is good, service is very friendly but prices are too high for the size of each meal. This is why people say it’s expensive to get healthy prepped food. Yet you can get a huge meal at McDonald’s for the same price. Meals are worth about $6 in my opinion, at that price I’d give 5 stars

You can get a grab and go meal for the same price as a fast food "value meal". They have a good variety to choose from weekly. Some have been excellent. Haven't had one I haven't enjoyed yet. Just got to find a microwave (home or quiktrips) to heat and enjoy. More

I’ve tried a few meal delivery services, but the best quality (and taste) came from these guys, and its local, win win. It takes a bit to get your order ready but I won’t subtract a star because their meals are genuinely delicious, worth the wait.

You got me in your door with your $6 meal special, and now I am addicted! Every meal I have eaten (2/day) has been wonderful. Not only do I feel full, but I’m not left craving anything else.  This will be my new personal splurge for myself.

I’m eating the chicken chili right now, and I actually messaged the owner to tell him how great the food was. I’ve never done that. Before. As soon as I think they’ve nailed it, they improve it. Love these stores and this good!!

We have not been disappointed yet!! Quality, Selection, Consistency are spot on. Extra added benefit is the staff that is always there to help or inform. The bonus points for being a customer is a extra added feel good..

I have been with Warriors Fuel for over a year. My prep and off-season meal's have been convenient, made prep a bit easier, gave me more free time and not to mention affordable. For me, very much a part of my success.

Decent startup that is a little tricky to find but food was good for a health grab and go situation. Portions seemed small but probably the right size to keep one out of a food comma. Likely to revisit in the future.

The peanut butter cookie smoothie is fantastic. My only complaints are: 1. They don't take orders over the phone 2. They don't offer peanut or almond butter additions to acai bowls
