DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! I am a previous employee of this place and am currently in the works of reporting this shop to health and safety standards. Their meat is stored in a freezer and the law for those massive kebab sticks is to leave them out in a chilled room or area for 24 hours to thaw through completely so it can then be cooked. This place leaves it out for anywhere between 30 mins to 2 hours and then runs the meat under hot water to thaw the outside and let the rest thaw on the cooker after the fact. (Meat comes covered in glad wrap which allows them to run it under the water). This is a serious health issue as it can cause salmonella and I myself got food poisoning from making my own kebab there. Ensured all the meat was cooked and it was the only thing I ate for the day and went home vomiting violently for a good hour and a half. Please do not eat there and help me to report this place and get it shut down. Another thing is they do not pay their workers on time and do not pay night rates, weekend rates or even holiday rates! I worked three public holidays till 2am and even till 5am one night and did not get the 2x rate i was meant to get. Instead i got $16/hr.
I would rate 0 if I could. Every time I have come here it’s been terrible! Tonight, the man was beyond rude!! The cook was annoyed that I didn’t want cheese on my kebab, because in his own words - he had already cooked a perfect kebab with cheese and I was being difficult ordering a kebab with no cheese!!?? Once I received my kebab it was thrown together, uncooked chips, sauce everywhere and no salad! When I asked for salad… I usually go to Turquoise kebabs, they always have amazing service and great tasting food. But tonight I came here and yet again disappointed.
This place is the best kebab joint for quick food that is the most delicious that I've ever tasted in Brisbane ever. This place will satisfy your hunger like nothing that you've ever experienced before. The attendant at the store is the most delightful and experienced person you'll ever meet in the kebab industry. Overall, Fab Kebabs is the reason for my existence, and I can't wait to come back and have another kebab!!! - Oli & Austin
From our short stay in the CBD, I can definitely say that this was our culinary highlight. We were served good food for slightly expensive prices. There's not a whole lot to say. Our only complaint would be that the food was annoyingly greasy, but as for everything else, just what we were looking for!

Ordered our food, walked back to our hotel which was an 8 minute walk. Opened our box of mixed snack pack with garlic and cheese and both boxes were soaked in grease, chips were like smush and soggy. Couldn’t even eat it . What a waste of money to then throw it in the bin.

4.5 out of 5 for the kebabs, however service was so slow!!! We were the only ones there, ordered our food, paid our money the lady said she would be a few minutes. Shew was doing something behind the counter, clearly not making our food in any way. Waited almost 15-20 mins for three kebabs and we were the only ones there the entire time! The lady was pleasant, just not too interested in us!
Asked for two sauces and was given one. Asked for raw onions on hsp which was charged extra for and didn’t receive them. Asked for no cheese- came with cheese regardless. Chips were greasy and inedible- don’t waste your money.

I had to go back there because they double-charged the kebab. I paid $14*2 so a total of $28, and all I got back was $12. No "sorry" or anything - which I could let slide - but short-changing me on the refund? Now that's just annoying.

I love their HSPs. Full of meat and chips. Fills you up for a decent price. Nice reserved behavior as well. It's right next to Fat Louies (favorite place for a game of pool and some alcohol), so that is great for a quick feed. It's also quite public but they do have a couple of little tables if you ever needed to sit down.
I came here after 2+ years and seems management/ownership is changed. Poor service. The girl over Counter doesn't even know what they are selling. When kebab came, it was full of sauces. After eating half kebab I spent more time to save myself and table from sauce than eating. I won't come here again.
One of the best kebab places I've ever been to and the Snack Pack was honestly the best all time!

Was having high expectations for crisp fresh chips from Kebab shop. But what I got was soggy, loose, undercook ,oily chips with less seasoning. Would not recommend to waste your money here.

Said delivery was 25-45 minutes and waited over an hour for them to cancel the order. Don’t accept orders and cancel after that amount of time when people are expecting to eat. What a joke

Horrible experience. Made to wait in freezing cold for 20 minutes where they served 5 other people after me. Then when I asked where my food was, told another 15 minutes as they hadn't cooked any chicken. Then was incredible rude after that.
Worst ever to visit and try the kebab. Seller is not welcome warmly. His guister is rude and doesn't represent a kind one. The taste is also not good. Order kebab & its cold in the inside. Worst kebab ever!

Asked for sweet chilli sauce, was given chilli sauce. Asked for sour cream, if I got it - it tasted awful. Paid extra for cheese, definitely wasn’t given it. Also they don’t use gloves so the hygiene is questionable. Avoid this place
Worst kebab of my life. Paid for cheese, did not get cheese. They gave the complete wrong kebab which had hot chilli... tried to scrape it off at home and replace with sour cream but of course still too hot to eat. Bit of a waste!
What a waste of $22. Asked for 2 types of sauce but only got one on my kebabs. Chips are soggy and uncooked. My hotel was only 3 minutes from this place. Avoid at all cost!

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! Don't go anywhere else for your kebabs in Brisbane. Fantastic customer service very friendly. Fast service just as take away should be. Delicious fresh food, don't settle for anything less. More
Customer service could be improved. The kebab shop down the street are working hard to retain the customers.

I think this place has changed ownership. The wrap I got today was really dry to swallow because they forgot to add my sauce. The wrap wasn't toasted and was like eating raw soggy dough. Will not be going back.
This kebab shop is one of my favorite restaurants in Brisbane city. Cheap, fast, neat, healthy and tasty. The staffers are so friendly that they gave me a bottle of water for free when I asked for tap water.
Good place for a quick meal. Kebabs were ok. Nothing special about them

The employee that staffs this is rude. I've been here repeatedly and he is just consistently rude. If you go down past the Starbucks (one block over) the guy is nicer and its like 2 dollars cheaper.
Been my go-to kebab shop for the longest time! They always use the freshest ingredients and make some of the best snack packs I've ever eaten, not to mention the staff are all superstars as well!
Actually decent Street food in Brisbane. I like to get the kebab then walk next door to Guzman y Gomez for hot chips to go with it. You can then sit outside at G&G to eat without any trouble.
The worst kebab ever and they tried to overcharge me. Lucky I asked the receipt and found out they added extra $10 to my order. Lamb and beef kebab tasted like a dog meat

THE OWNER SERVED ME Raw chicken in my kebab. Guy didn't offer refund just a replacement which really in this case is not great. HE ALSO SAID AND ARGUED WITH ME THAT IT WAS COOKED.
Definitely get your fill here. Very filling kebab. Lots of extra options. Pretty well priced as well.

small hole in the wall kebab joint. staff are friendly and kebab was filled good. there's some seating straight out the front. falafel option for the vegetarians out there.
Served raw chicken in a kebab, if i could give zero i would. Brisbane city council needs to look at this place. You can't serve raw chicken you could kill someone.
Tasty kebab. Bit small though, that explains the "free" drink. Mostly terrible music playing. Final summary: there are worse kebab shops in the city.
First time I buy it's beautiful second time I go back disappointed chips like boiled and not fried

We walked from South Bank and oh my lord it was worth it. Mixed kebab with garlic sauce and cheese at 2am. This is living.
Never disappoints! One of those tiny city kebab joints that's been there forever, next to the pub but a hidden gem.
Horrible kebabs. The chicken they use tastes like it comes from a $10 chicken in Coles. I do not recommend it.
Average kebab, does the job for late night food. For sure not as good as a Berlin kebab (however most aren't)
They give you like $1 chips and say it's large and there just so stingy compared to other kabab shops
Order tonight was perfect. Tasty, good price, good size. Lots of meat in the hsp. Keep it up guys!
Food ok pricey for kebab and water only $20
