Food was incredible. Can't fault it. However, we were made feel uncomfortable by staff moving tables around us until they eventually told us they needed the table. Considering we were only eating dessert this was disappointing. We were not told when booking that the table would be needed later. In order to accommodate 2 large groups they needed our table. It was clear from random tables being moved that this had been overlooked. To facilitate this we moved upstairs for a drink. Upstairs 1 staff member was excellent and gave us the table we were promised when asked to move to accommodate the large groups. Unfortunately other staff members were not as good and another dropped a reserved sign on our table and walked off(a very poor and unprofessional practice to move people, please speak to customers). The same person then came back 5 minutes later and told us that we needed to move. We tried to explain the situation but this fell on deaf ears. Additionally, our only drinks order was not fulfilled correctly and drinks had to be reordered. The experience was definitely impacted as a result. Very unprofessional practice by one staff member.

We had the most appalling experience here recently. 30 of us went for our Christmas night out. They tried to overcharge us on a massive scale. Our 3 course meal cost €72 -no drinks included. When the bill came they had charged us €6 each for the sauce on the steak and also charged us for vegetables that we had been told by wait staff were included in our dinner. None of these prices were shown in the menu we were given either. To top it off, when the drinks bill came there were a host of drinks on the bill that we'd never ordered, including a €218 charge for 6 drinks listed as 'open drinks'. It was quite obvious that they thought we were a corporate group who would wave a company credit card and not ask questions. When we challenged the bill(which really put a downer on the night and went on for over half an hour) they took the extra charges off without much of a fight, but it was so disappointing. Price gouging at its worst and just a horrible experience. I'd advise all patrons to check their bills before paying.

Lovely, stylish restaurant. Lots of seating with a beautiful rooftop bar. A beautiful place to meet, enjoy cocktails or anything from a wide and varied drinks menu, that like the dining menu, has something for every taste. Food is exquisite. Prepared to an extremely high standard and presented professionally with an unassuming flourish. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. This restaurant is highly recommended. We visited on November 2nd,2023, on foot of a recommendation from a regular patron. We weren't sorry. We enjoyed the dry aged burger, fries, fluffy, light focacia bread and, onion rings. A glass of red Portuguese wine and sparkling water. We didn't finish eating everything, obviously, but it was gorgeous. No service charge, so we left a well deserved tip. Hope this helps you decide your meal destination.

Had a meal here on 21st October and we were extremely disappointed. As a party of 2 we waited 45 mins for a main course, the dish I ordered (lamb) came out and it was dry and chewy. After such a long wait I was extremely disappointed so I sent it back, something I have never done in a restaurant before. They offered a replacement main course for me so I asked for the sea bream instead. When it arrived, the person who brought it out to me (who I believe was one of the managers) did not even offer an apology, he didn’t speak a single word to me and just placed the plate down in front of me. To make matters worse, it was just okay. The rest of the waiting staff were extremely accommodating and offered some free drinks for compensation but there was obviously a huge issue with the kitchen on this night. The table next to us waited approximately 90 minutes for their main course, they were seated at 8pm they only received their main at 10.25pm. Overall a very disappointing experience, particularly for a restaurant with such a reputation.

We had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding anniversary party in Fade Street Social for approximately thirty people. We opted for the lunch menu. The food was really special and ended up being the talking point of the day. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. A special thank you to Tara and her team for helping with the organisation of the event. She really made us feel at ease and that all aspects of the day would be taken care of. I can't recommend this venue enough and look forward to dining there again soon. High quality food and service with stunning cocktails on the side. What more could you ask for!: )

Really enjoyed this venue, one of by favourite places, would definitely go back. The venue is quite popular so I’d recommend booking at least 3 days in advance. The chicken liver parfait was really nice, it’s a big portion. Pork belly and potatoes were well seasoned and very tender. Desserts (chocolate choux bun and pavlova) was amazing. I found the portions big and the meal filing so definitely go hungry. Even with a large packed venue the service was quick and efficient allowing enough time in between courses. The facilities were very clean. The kitchens are open Palau so you can see the chefs working away, the pizza also looked incredible. The venue was dimly lit with red exposed brick and redish brown decor giving it a rustic feel. Our meal was reasonably priced for drinks and 3 courses. The steaks slate more expensive c150 but these are sharing steaks and looked amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

Had a dinner for a birthday party in the woodfire restaurant. The ambience at the terrace is good but there is no main food served. Cocktails were average, and there are options other than classic ones. Serving staff was not very attentive though they re friendly, told that they serve pizza only in another section which we have to change the table but we have seen them serving on the table next to us and we did not wait to argue. Lamb on the menu was incorrectly priced. Not to mention, 40eur service charge has been mandatorily added to the bill, sick. Few things did not sound good. Did not have pleasant time at the questionable restaurant service and the prices, restaurants in prime places in London are not this expensive. Not again!

The food was amazing, we had the chicken liver parfait which was a very generous portion followed by the Seabeam and a side of mash then the pear and plum cobbler. We really enjoyed the food one of the best meals we have in a very long time. The staff were very friendly and service was excellent just one little negative was we were only given one menu to choose from but apparently there are a few, would have been nice to had the choice. The restaurant was immaculate as was the facilities just a few wobbly tiles on the gents tiolet floor. There was a service charge but we don't mind that as the service was great as was the malbac even though we had the tasty red wth fish. Definitely recommend here and we'll be back.

I had to post as soon as we got back from dining here. It was absolutely first class in respect of service but the food oh my goodness was outstanding! The padron pepper snack was delicious with a creamy garlic and chorizo sauce. We then had a spinach flat bread, delicious carrots and onion rings and fries. Two fab cocktails were so well made and presented so nicely. We prebooked for a Sunday night but it was really quiet. Maybe three or four other tables taken we could see. The night before it had looked bursting at the seams but this was much better for a meal for couples. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and I would definitely come back again. Just love everything about the whole place.

Food Ordered the three course dinner for 35€. Starter of mushroom ravioli was deconstructed with a huge mound of wild mushrooms. Very delicious but just a touch too salty. Pork belly starter was also lovely, crispy and rich. Mains of steak and cod were accompanied by mashed potato, chips, sprouts with bacon and blackened cauliflower. All items were perfectly cooked. Had the bannofee pie for dessert which was heaven in a cup. Pavlova was light and fresh. Service Didn’t have a reservation and they found us a table. Servers were all really friendly and smiled each time they came to drop off food or check in on us. Ambience Like the décor of the restaurant but it was slightly noisy. Price Definitely worth the 35€. Large portions of deliciously well cooked food.

We were a large group, with seven children ranging from 2 to 15 and a 17 year old. I'm always on edge taking lots of children to restaurant's as I feel if I was out for a quiet meal and wanted a nice peaceful atmosphere. The staff were pleasant and very professional handling the amount of us, and eventually got through the night with lovely food and lovely staff. It gets very busy even on a week night, so can be noisy and hard to hear one another. I often wonder why restaurants don't have sectioned off areas for families it would be more pleasant for dinners. All in all a nice restaurant, not cheap but very nice food.

My sister and I went to this restaurant, as we had the Rustic Stone booked and unfortunately it did not open. Firstly, the staff are incredibly, efficient, friendly and attentive. Secondly, the food is delicious, ever bite was an explosion of flavours, a symphony of pleasure. Thirdly, the food looked beautiful when delivered to the table. A wonderful presentation. I am extremely impressed with this restaurant. Very clean, staff in all areas were very good. We got Gluten free: they don't have a great selection of starters gluten free (and who wants a half starter as a substitute. I dislike this option from any restaurant). However, the main course we ordered was amazing, so this disadvantage disappears.

  • Robert Coleman

Absolutely awful place. Myself and some friends went on Saturday 2nd of December for our friends birthday, with a table booked for 8:45. We were not seated until nearly 10pm and did not get our starter until close to 11pm. Food wasn’t great at all and overly priced. Our jackets were taken as we walked in and as we left we found that one of our friends very expensive jackets had been stolen. They promised to reimburse for the jacket and are now ignoring any requests to follow through with their promise. I would actively encourage people to avoid this restaurant at all costs. Much better places with better service around town.

Had our Christmas work dinner last night. We were an hour waiting, when got the table, we were squashed into one spot. Then required to give table back when we were barely finished our dessert. Food was disappointing, while it might look impressive it was a little bland. We were about 45 mins between starter and main course. The bar staff were bad, I had to remind them twice to serve a Guinness I had ordered as it was just left there.. In saying that, the roof top are is lovely, I would definitely go back there for a drink.

I had a fantastic dinner with my family at Fade Social Street. Christian, the charismatic bartender, made our evening memorable with his attentiveness and friendliness, truly placing customer care at the center of everything he does. Catherine, our server, was also outstanding, ensuring our needs were met with a smile. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful dining experience, with a team that goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome.

A great spot for team dinners. They have a good selection of cocktails and wines. They also offer a set menu which is for 65€. The Chateaubriand is also an option and is quite popular. I really liked the roasted onion hummus and the chocolate mousse. The staff is quite prompt and professional, service is quick too. They have loads of seating space indoors and have an additional floor for drinks. I would recommend always booking in advance when visiting Fade street, they are a busy restaurant they are also relatively more expensive than other restaurants but the experience is great and atmosphere is nice too.

  • Lina Jimenez

This restaurant visit was an utter disappointment. Despite our reservation, we endured a 45-minute wait without any updates. As a group of 8, we awkwardly lingered around the bar, receiving no communication about the delay. Worse, when a coat went missing upon departure, the staff initially showed rudeness, denying any responsibility. Despite assurances to investigate, they failed to follow through with a promised call back.

I’m a regular customer for the last 7 or 8 years. I absolutely love the food, however I feel the service has gone down post pandemic. Complimentary prosecco on arrival, which was a nice touch, has ceased. For a party of two there is a service charge of 12.5% added to your bill. This is not mandatory but seems a bit too much for just 2 people. I also wish they brought back the chocolate sphere and dexter sirloin :(

I can definitely write pages and pages about the incredible experience we had at this restaurant. The food is so delicious. I can say hands down one of the top 10 restaurants I have ever been to anywhere in the world and definitely the number one best bread I have ever had in my life. I wish the wine menu was a little more extensive. Make sure you leave room for desert because as you think you have just had the best food you could have asked for the desert gives you something else to remember for a really long time. Oh and good luck getting a table without reservations in advance!

  • Colin Naylor

I visited this restaurant with work colleagues and we were seated on a good table and all staff were attentive to us. They have a very good choice of wines and a few draft beers too if that is your thing. Service was quick and the food was delicious. It did get rather warm in there however, probably because it was hot outside, but nothing that some good air conditioning could have easily solved. A good place to visit, better on a cooler day, of which there are many in Dublin.

5 stars to our waitress Alex (also known as Alexandra) she deserves a raise! She makes the experience - so attentive and just bringing all the energy needed for a good meal evening. What an amazing vibe of a place though, I mean it was a bit loud (music played quite loud, hence the 4 stars) couldn’t really hear my partner infront of me. Food though... another level, so good and yummy ... pricey yes but so yummy!!! Would definitely recommend! We were in the Woodfire and cocktail part of the restaurant, inner courtyard. We had the ribs - 10/10 credit to the chef. Thank you

Awful experience at this restaurant. Despite a reservation, waited 45 minutes for a table. As a party of 8, we stood uncomfortably around the bar without any communication about the delay. When leaving, one person's coat was missing. Initially, staff were rude and claimed it wasn't their responsibility. Later, they promised to investigate and call us, but never did. Manager Joseph is unresponsive to our attempts to reach out.

I ordered from the vegan/vegetarian options but specified that I had a wheat allergy. I was served iceberg lettuce, beetroot, and some rocket and spinach, for 25.50... unbelievable considering how well thought out the vegetarian/vegan options seemed on the menu that this was the best they could produce. The pictures speak for themselves. The terrace was nice.

We made a reservation to celebrate our anniversary while visiting Dublin. I had to make a last minute reservation switch to the following night and they were very accommodating squeezing us in. Christmas Shopping Lunch Food 10/10 Service 0/10 Atmosphere 2/10 Great food but service and humor of service staff leaves a lot to be desired. During both courses none of us were asked if our food was ok. Waiter was abrupt and short! Place was also cold. Sat down stairs. Place was busy with Christmas parties. Our recent visit to this restaurant for a birthday celebration turned out not so great as our booking was delayed over 30 minutes and my friend's coat went missing. The staff's lack of concern and refusal to take responsibility (as they take your coat away) for the lost item left us disappointed and questioning their customer service. I would advise others to be cautious when considering this establishment and giving them your belongings.

the place is very beautiful, and has a bar separate from the restaurant which is great and very convenient, I was at the tapas time and the dishes are very delicious and different. I found it very tasty! but you have to choose where to sit, because the kitchen is open and close to the tables. however when they prepare meat or something that makes smoke the exhaust is not very good and the environment is full of smoke and your clothes too! otherwise the gastronomic experience is good!

An exquisite culinary experience. Great for a date or for food with friends and family. It is always very busy so I recommend booking in advance. The food is served as tapas, all together so be ready to share. Great when you want to taste everything. Drinks are also excellent. The top floor is a roof garden bar will a decent cocktails menu. The giant baby statue is in the bar.

My favorite dish from this restaurant was the hummus! Overall, it was an excellent place to visit! For parents for toddlers, I didn't see highchairs. The restrooms were located upstairs. A restaurant with a good vibe. A bit of an expensive place but the food is quite decent. Being a vegetarian I found the main course could have had more options. It just had the mushroom dish.
