We live in BERALA and were looking for a more convenient local gp. Our toddler recently started child care, and obviously caught something from the other kids. The lady at the counter was not welcoming at all. She seemed quite outraged that we didn't have masks on. Hesitated a fair bit to give us masks. They asked us to fill out our forms outside because we didn't do a rat test on our 2 year old. (The hospital doesn't even do RAT tests on 2 year old). I can't imagine being able to stick a tube up a toddlers nose to get any sort of reading anyway. The doctor called us while we were waiting outside the place on the footpath, spoke to us on the phone got information. Asked 100 questions regarding his medical history and then came outside to examine my toddler. Diagnosed with an ear infection, and sent us on our way. The overly exaggerated precautions taken made me quite uncomfortable. The doctor was very friendly and professional. Nice to see a young doctor for a change.

Dr Kathy has been my go to doctor since they've opened the clinic and by far has been the most caring and understanding doctor I have been with. I went through my pregnancy with her, and she never hesitated to answer all questions a first-time mum would have. Dr Kathy understands how important mental health is and is always willing to go beyond to help you. I've also seen other doctors within this practice when I am unable to book with Dr Kathy. Dr Danny and Dr Amy are fantastic doctors as well.

Three times I have attempted to come here as a new patient as I've recently moved into the area, and all three times they have refused me as a new patient and I've had to drive half hour back to my old GP. Unethical and dangerous practice. Reading the reviews I can see this isn't an uncommon trend, especially when I look at the names of the people leaving 1-star reviews with the same experience as me, and those leaving 5-star reviews. I will be contacting AHPRA about this practice. Disgusting.

I have a sick one year old baby with a temperature that I was hoping for a doctor to see urgently. The lady over the phone was not helpful at all and simply stated that they can't see new patients at short notice. What kind of practice is this? Was thinking about bringing my family to this practice after moving to the area but after this experience, I'd rather go elsewhere.

I went for the first time because new customers were not accepted during the epidemic, which I can understand. I went again today because my calf was a little sore and it was close to home, so I went to see it, but they still don't accept new customers. If you have just moved here or haven’t been there to see a doctor, I suggest you not to go, they are very unwelcoming.

Dr Kathy is amazing, a great doctor for women especially as she takes your concerns seriously and gets the the root of the issue instead of just prescribing medication as a quick fix. I have also seen Dr. Grace who is also great! Their choice to not take new patients when full shows their commitment to their patients and providing quality care.

Im so happy with family doctors berala. They are caring, friendly and providing high quality of service. While im pregnant, i always visited here, and now im still visiting for my child's vaccination & etc. I had visited quite a few GPs, at rhodes, city, eastwood and lidcombe, but among those, here is the best option for me.

Very clean and tidy waiting area. Doctor Danny is caring, thorough and professional. Been to different local clinics finding this is the best. Especially if you need a doctor who can speak Chinese.

Very friendly people ànd fantastic doctors includes a pathology nurse. Receptionist is great and very helpful. Highly recomended has both male and female doctors with online bookings available.
