My experience with Felicity J Lord was fantastic from viewing the flat all the way through to picking up the keys. My agent Akbar was so friendly and helpful, and I particularly rate these agents as they had a dedicated “move manager”, who kept things moving during the legal process of the purchase when the solicitors were being a complete nightmare and dragging things out for weeks and weeks longer than necessary. Shannon was great at this and I dread to think how long it would have taken without her. Everyone was so lovely and it makes me wonder why estate agents in general have a bad reputation because FJL could not have been better and went above and beyond - it’s conveyancing solicitors I now don’t trust! Also, they gave me a little gift box when I picked up the keys with a celebratory drink, and wee bits like soap and tea bags. I thought this was a really, really nice touch and showed that as a company they understand what you need when you’re moving house, which was true of my entire experience with them. We have had a great experience of working with FJ Lord Hackney - Charlie, Lenny, Akbar & Shannon (plus the others that we have spoken briefly with). They have always been polite, knowledgeable and approachable. Our sale hasn’t been smooth and was ultimately unsuccessful this through no fault of the team (Cladding issues). The team has helped find a buyer quickly who was committed but ultimately we couldn’t get outside stakeholders comfortable. They provided updates in a timely, efficient manner and worked viewings around our hectic schedule. The issues caused us all some headaches and they worked tirelessly to try and achieve our goal of a sale and an onwards purchase. We reached out to 4 different agencies to value our property including Felicity J Lord who we had bought from previously. From the very first meeting we had with Charlie Saville to the latest (going over our offers) we knew we were dealing with someone in a different league to the others. They say buying and selling property can be one of the most stressful things you can do, but Charlie even managed to make the process enjoyable! He really took the time to do his homework and explain his positioning with us in great detail. He was always available to answer any questions and challenged some of our thinking in a very respectful and professional way. He instilled all the confidence we needed to know we were in great hands and I couldn't recommend him enough to anyone looking to start this process.

Looking for a new place to rent or buy? you couldn’t be in better hands! From the moment I popped in to ask about a listing, the team could not have been more helpful or commutative. Special shout out to Faisal who has been my go to throughout the process. Prompt with communication and open, it’s really nice that as agents they have a good relationship with there tenants and landlords. This became very evident on my viewing where Faisal was able to answer all my questions and advise on the best course of action moving forward. On acceptance of my offer, their online portal makes everything easy, simply upload your details etc and they look after the rest. I’ve got a little bit of a wait before I move into my new place but can’t wait to pick up my keys from the team. WHOOP!

We have been left without a working oven for 6 weeks - really not ideal. All emails to property management ignored, you have to call at least 5 times for someone to answer the phone to be met with someone advising this is being looked into - is it? Granted the property management team is separate from the Hackney branch, however when the endless list of issues we had upon moving into our flat were raised with the Hackney branch….again….crickets!! This seems to be the last resort to raising the issue once again, that we have no working oven and 1 working gas hob. The viewing process was smooth and securing the property was quick and easy, however now we are moved into our flat the tables could not have been turned quicker.

I recently completed buying a flat where Felicity J. Lord was the estate agents. It was a long process (as it always is with leasehold properties I’ve come to find out!), but Lenny and Charlie were super helpful, responsive and on top of things throughout the journey. My partner and I are in the process of purchasing a flat with FJL and have had a truly excellent experience so far. Charlie and his team have by far been the best agency I have worked with through my search process. While I know they are technically employed by the sellers, it has felt like they have been personally invested in finding me a home. Charlie and his team are detail oriented proactively share properties with me that only make sense for my search and are in range of my budget. Felicity J Lord was one of the estate agents we used during our flat search and we wound up putting in an offer through them (though it wasn't accepted). Lee was friendly and helpful through the flat viewing and offer process and we appreciated him taking the time to talk us through the process as we're first time buyers. The only thing I'd say could have been improved was to receive more tailored recommendations during our search, but this seems to be a challenge everywhere. I'd recommend FJL to work with for putting in an offer.

Akbar (Syed) was the most helpful and informative agent I’ve worked with yet. I am completely new to the house buying process and he was happy to share tips and experiences that gave me a better understanding of how the process is likely to go.
