Went in for a headset diagnostic and he tried to charge me $50 for headset + LABOR, so I asked how much for JUST the headset and he told me $50 for a “generic no brand headset” and claimed “good” “brand” headsets could be “$90+”. After I told him no thank you, he didn’t even bother to put my headset back in place and gave me my bike in pieces with an exposed head tube. Please be wary of bike part prices and honest businesses. A “generic no brand headset” shouldn’t cost 3x the value for a FSA or Origin 8 headset with or without “free labor”.

Muy contento con su trabajo muy profesional .Felipe y todo su equipo me alludaron a realizar la transformación de mi Santa Cruz Tallboy 29" de 2x10 velocidades a eagle 1× 12 con un 32t . I forgot my lock and i had a Doctors appt. I saw felipes bike shop across the street.went there to buy a lock told the guys what happened..hey bro. We'll watch it for you...go to your appt. And pick it up when your done no worries..who does that for anyone now days.didn't even try to push the purchase of a lock at me...all was good. Well today i have a flat tire guess where im headed FELIPES bike shop babythey open ar 8.30 am im on my way to see the fellas..great place great Customer care..cool all the way around.

A full well stocked-up place, it's very colorful, eye-catching place when you first visit (unless, you accidentally past by it), also if you're new to biking, this is the best place to get honesty, fair prices, lowest to highest qualities, and if you soon become a loyal customer of this shop, you could've get some discounts which is my favourite. Felipe is a knowledgeable guy, even the employees (they know certainly what they're doing on their job) Thanks Felipe, and shout out to everyone who works there!

Felipe’s bike shop is the best bike shop in LA. There customer service is the best, they are always taking care of your bike like if it was their own. Felipe’s bike shop has one of the best prices for fixie parts in my opinion. There prices are so affordable for me as a young teen. Felipe’s bike shop gives affordable discounts and always give what the customer wants.

I've been. Going to Felipes for over the pass 20 years. I've been going to him when he had his spot in Echo Park and the one on 7th st and Westlake. He used to fix on our lowrider bikes. We used to bring him our bikes. At times we used to bring in at least 10 bikes at any given time. This shop is the best and I still continue to bring my Stretch bikes to him.

Felipe's bike shop is amazing!!!. The quality of work and professionalism exceeds far beyond expectations. I just replaced my flat rear tire and bought new tires and tube front and back. Also replaced rear brake pads all for only $45. They calibrated rear and front derailers. This bike shop is the best bike shop I've been to. THANKS FOR THE GOOD WORK!!!

I've never purchased anything from Felipe's but I often see a good selection of bicycles for sale whenever I walk by. The employees seem helpful, and have an actual interest in bikes (not always the case at bike shops, believe it or not. If you're looking for a bike or some equipment, I'd recommend taking your business to our local shops like this one.

My fave bike shop in LA. Solid, fast service with fair prices. No pretense, pressure, or condescension. Free tube change with purchase of tube. It's fairly small and more for maintenance/repairs, but their other store is only a few blocks away with more products. Highly recommend both stores.

Call to get an estimate to replace my brakes the dude that answer just said bring so he can give me price at the store, told him just give me a price for the service and if its more or less I'm not going to be like no u said this exact estimate then he just hung up on me

Unfortunately when I purchased a bike rack from Felipe’s they overcharged me. I purchased a Hollywood Racks Baja 2-bike rack from them, which goes for $120. They charged me $180, plus tax $196. I believe this to be dishonest therefore I do not recommend them.

They never have a parts that you need and I ask for a tune up the guy say I have no time now back other day and I back the other day he say can you back tomorrow I say thank u forget it no professional customers skills its no good

I recently got into cycling and Felipe was truly accommodating and knowledgeable about every single question I had. He tuned up my bike for $35 which was less than any other bike shop I have seen in LA. A+ for service and staff.
