EDIT: in response the restaurants response. I was aware what I ordered was vegan. I had done so intentionally as I am vegan, so I will not be able to try the, as you put it, nice version of these dishes. Vegan food doesn’t have to be and shouldn’t be bland! It can be very tasty and it doesn’t require any special ingredients to be tasty. For instance, some coconut cream would have elevated the quality of the carbonara cheaply. And if you’re advertising a dish as a focaccia serve a focaccia not a pizza! Otherwise just list it as a pizza. There are also many traditional Italian dishes that are vegan by nature, like Aglio e olio. Simple and delicious! There is not much point in offering vegan options if they aren’t nice, even by the restaurants own admission. Original review: I ordered via Uber eats, under the name of Vegan Amore (discovered after the food arrived it was actually Fiammenta Pizzeria). I had ordered from here before and was not impressed with their vegan pizza for the price I paid, much better pizza out there at the same price point. If I had known “Vegan Amore” was actually this restaurant I would not have ordered knowing that they don’t provide vegan food that matches their high price point. I ordered a garlic focaccia and two vegan pastas. The focaccia is a pizza not a focaccia. They literally used their pizza base. And the one I got was stale, chewy and smothered in far too much vegan cheese. The vegan carbonara was just a watery bland mushroom gravy with frozen peas and some cheap vegan ham. It in no way resembled a carbonara. Not even an Aussie one with cream! The vegan tuffle gnocchi, well where to start. The sauce was the same sauce as the carbonara: very bland watery mushroom gravy. It was topped with copious amounts of imitation truffle oil. Far too much oil for a single portion. At least it added some flavour even if it did taste overwhelming of dirt since too much was used. Truffle oil should be used sparingly. I literally drained 1/4 cup of oil off the top of this dish! Overall very over priced and very bland (or in the case of the truffle dish tasting of dirt) food that has literally ended up in the bin.

We’ve been meaning to give this place a try since it opened & the only regret we have is not trying it sooner. One of the best, most authentic Italian pizzas we’ve had in Brisbane. We tried the Capricciosa on their $18 Wednesday specials night and it was so fresh & full of flavour. You can really tell they use good quality ingredients. We’ve since been back 3 times and every time it’s 10/10. Do yourself a favour & give Fiammetta a try for your next pizza night!

Capricciosa Pizza

Well have to admit they said 30 min and they were early... The Korean Chicken was absolutely awful, the cook needs to taste that black goo it tastes horrible and is very overwhelming, couldn't taste anything else except that bile of a paste they call marinade... The crispy pizza did manage to come warm, and after one piece of chicken the flavour of the pizza that was there was terminated... Please guys taste your product, something needs to be done to save your business.

We ordered the food through Uber eat … the vegetarian pizza was delicious. The crust was fresh and thin. Toppings were fresh. Just right amount. Generally when we eat pizza from Domino’s after half off the pizza we feel it too much but with this pizza it was refreshing.Arancini bowls were excellent and Tiramisu was just right sweetness. I would go back to the shop for pizza and highly recommend this shop.

Tried this after reading the great reviews on FB. Great for gluten-free (coeliac) - very careful about GF & lovely about my checking. Mushroom gnocchi (GF) was amazing - definitely will order this again. Can’t wait to go back and try other pizza flavours & the pasta options.

Saw the facebook adds and thought we’d give it a go. Quite possible the greatest takeaway pizza I’ve ever had. And if you saw my belly you’d see the years I’ve dedicated to this cause! My wife loved the mushroom truffle gnocchi too. If you love rustic Italian you seriously won’t believe what has just started up here in Morningside!

We have had 2 meals from Fiammetta Pizzeria now and both have been equally delicious. Pizzas are fantastic, Carbonara scrumptious, Pesto Chicken Gnocchi devine and aranchini balls so good. So glad to have a affordable rustic Italian in our neighbourhood. $75 got us enough food for 4 adults with some leftovers.

Terrific pizza We were very impressed with the pizza from Fiametta. There was just the right amount of good quality toppings and the base was excellent - nice and thin with a slightly chewy texture and a crunchy edge. Looking forward to trying some other pizza flavours and the pasta!

Soooooooo much better than the last pizza place at this location. Proper tasting, proper looking pizza. Staff are so friendly and helpful when Menulog messed up. Definitely worth a try if your looking for some decent pizza in the area.
