Dear All. This hospital is a beautiful look like one but unfortunately the service is deeply under the (just normal not even good ) standards . The receptionist are the most disgusting type of people that I have ever met in the heltcare service worldwide and the nurses whose are checking you first they confident in their knowledge as they would be doctors... Here is 2 true story : 1: I wisited and waited there with 40 degrees body temperature to get seen by a doctor.. after 2 hours I went outside for 2 minutes to grabb my phone as I left it in my van..and I have even let them know this , but that was the mistake... Jennifer one of the receptions after that has perverted her power and put me out of the waiting list so I was just waiting and waiting there in ache and agony because I had a swallen throat and strong fever..after 2 hours as I have seen the all patients in the waiting area has changed exept me. I was still there.. If I would not run in and rise the attention to a doctor I don't know when I would have been seen... Luckilyafter the situation as I sit down on to the floor and tell them I don't move anywhere until I get seen.. In 20 mins I were sorted and had the antibiotics that helped me ro recover.. I were terrorised by the receptionist in short that's the main thing. How someone like that can even work to NHS how is playing with patients and not there to help them out. Also they are paitientless so if you ask something from the you clearly feel that you are annoying them.. also feels like they are just there because they have to.. All the reception in the walik in centre should be replaced and don't let them work anywhere i the country dor the NHS. If I would have start my life now I would became a receptionist to make a difference and help on peoples that need it. The other terrible personal is the panda eyes old lady with short hair.. she is always there .. unavoidable and the biggest wrong wisher that I have ever met.. 2nd story... Went there on Saturday and a nurse (not a doctor) has diagnosed viral infection that was making me ill.. were suffering all weekend because they told just eat the magic staff the paracetamol.. Ok I didn't argued... on Monday went to my GP that os luckily good and the doctor diagnosis were i have a bacterial infection so I should be taking antibiotics and I got them .. after 3 days I could get back to my normal life and were on the way to recover fully.. My advice is that if you fo to that beautiful hospital you will just waste your time and will experience the shitiest service and understanding from the staff.. Avoid that place.. It was a wasted investment... the hospital were much better before the refurbishment.. but now... disgusted from rhat place... and not I am the only one who says this and hoping for someone to put things right in that awful place.. that's why peooles are using there phone to record that what kind of service they are actually receiving.. that's why there is a sign of no video recording with phone.. Must be a reason to get to this point.

Could not agree more with all the comments regarding the disgusting, narcissistic, power-hungry receptionist, Jennifer Corbin, who should never have been hired let alone allowed to interact with patients. She is a poor excuse for a human being who has no interest in treating anyone with basic human courtesy. I didn't take any of her attitude personally as, at least, she was consistently horrible, condescending and dismissive to everyone - patients and other staff members. After waiting in the waiting room for 4.5 hours with no end in sight - no food, no water, no phone - having to deal with her on top of all that was an absolute nightmare. She didn't offer any help or empathy. Instead, after asking her why I had been kept waiting for 4.5 hours, when SHE had told me that it would be a 2.5 hour wait, all she could say was "I never said that to you". So not only is she incredibly unhelpful, rude and condescending, but she is also a pathological liar who takes no responsibility for her actions. She, alone, has turned me off ever walking in to the centre again and whoever is in charge should seriously consider firing her. Every complaint on Google Reviews is about this one receptionist. Why are our taxes paying her salary? What shocked me the most is that this immature, obnoxious, poorly trained woman appeared to be a good 20 years older than me. Age did not bring her maturity and "experience" does not make her good at this job. Fire her and bring in someone younger who will appreciate this role. Other staff members were adequate in comparison. Definitely not the best, but next to Jennifer Corbin they all seemed like a breath of fresh air.

Unfortunately, I have had to frequent this place more than I had hoped in the last year, but the service they provide takes the drama out of what normally ensues with a large number of NHS services. The blood test centre give you an appointment and actually stick to it. Plus there is no digging around in your arms and collapsing vains, they are so smooth and quick you barely notice you have had your blood taken - and I am no needle fan! I had a car accident, that didn't warrant A&E but did need medical attention, saw a triage nurse, ten minutes later a nurse, 20 minutes after a doctor, then I was equipped with a prescription and emergency physio appointment for the following day! Broke a bone in my foot, saw a nurse, got an x-ray then got a referral to a surgeon. Like seriously quick and efficient team they have working here. There is no messing about, they deal with you as people and are cracking at what they do. The parking there is free for the first 2 hours, so you are not bankrupt to pay the normal charges that you get fleeced with at hospitals. The only reason they didn't get five stars is because they have a team of receptionists that think they run the joint, that one of them is quite frankly rude, abrupt and talks to you like absolute...... @#*&. Apart from that, this facility is a shining example to all others in the NHS that want to provide great service to people that need it. A BIG thank you to them!

A huge Thank you to all the walk - in centre staff. I have been sent on 3 occasions by my GP,s rude surgery receptionist to go to a hospital simply because I can NEVER get to see my GP at the surgery & simply get dismissed by the receptionists who don’t seem happy to do their job kindly to their patience. Very annoying approach when one is sick. I chose to go to the walk-in centre @ Finchley Memorial Hospital, whether the staff are under pressure with the amount of patients looking for assistance I found the staff to be approachable , smiling very efficient , kind ,welcoming & professional. Yesterday whilst waiting The duty staff nurse personally came out to the waiting room, apologised to all for the waiting time , announced the waiting time, due to the huge quantity of patients at this time of year, asked politely for patients to wait patiently and all patients will be attended to as quickly as possible. I, personally was dealt with quicker than my estimated time appointment date that my Rude GP receptionist had given me..(almost 1 month before I could see my GP)! Sadly GPS are loading their responsibilities to over to NHS hospitals , whom already do more work than GP surgeries . I would like to Thank all staff at Finchley Memorial Hospital for treating me rapidly, effificently & proffesionaly. Especially the front reception desk receptionist Jenny & all doctors office duty on Monday 19th February 2018.

I had strange bumps and a terrible pain in my arm that was progressively getting worse over the week. I finally brought it up to a medic at work and she told me to go to the hospital asap. I went to Finchley hospital and after explaining to the receptionist how much pain I was in she told me to wait. Ended up waiting a couple of hours which I kind of expected. When I finally saw someone he was trying to get me out of the room as soon as I got in. Showed him the bumps and he said he doesn’t see anything wrong with that. Then I said the pain felt as if my arm was dislocated all the time and every now and then I would have shooting pains. He just smiled and said he didn’t see anything wrong with it and that he couldn’t do anything but if I wanted something for the pain get some paracetamol. I left very annoyed as I could not express how much discomfort I was in anymore than I did but still nothing. I stopped off at a Tesco pharmacy on the way home and asked the pharmacist for her opinion on the bumps and pain. She took a look at the bumps and said it is probably shingles and to call 111 as soon as possible. Called 111 and they booked me into a hospital in south London the next day where I was given the medication to get rid of it.

I had to attend this hospital yesterday 18 th November 23,as I could not get an early GP appointment I had been unwell and getting progressively worse over two weeks at home trying to recover . I had to wait in a long Q to be seen , but I did not mind as I needed to be seen and I was told reassuringly that I would be seen. The receptionists Drs and Nurses were working flat out ,the service was busy and I did not feel that other people waiting were attending unnecessarily . I was seen by a kind empathetic Dr late in the evening after I am sure was a long day for him and helped ,he was they wonderful all of the staff were and deserve praise. I have a question what is the GP service for if one has to run the gauntlet of an 08.30 AM call only to be told after holding for 10 mins to call again tomorrow . The Govt should review the GP surgery service as it’s not helping in emergencies in any case where I live . It’s fine for all non urgent stuff but when your seriously unwell well ?. So well done Finchley memorial

I had a very bad experience last week on Friday at Finchley Memorial Hospital. I am few weeks pregnant and I went to the hospital for my first blood test. When I arrived to the reception they send me to the area for blood test, when I spoke with an Indian lady quiet rude not only with me as well with the other patients, she told me she did not have a booking with my name and I had a call from my midwife that she took an appointment for me. So I came back to the reception and they sent me at another department and but they told me it was not there. I came back again to the reception and they sent me to another wrong place. I arrived on time to my appointment but unfortunately I was late 30 min. I think is absolutely ridiculous that 3 receptionists they could not help me and they I found out that there was a door next to them with a midwife. My midwife Shaz was lovely and she tried to calm me down. Unfortunately I had to come back to the hospital for more appointments.

I had a horrible experience at Finchley Memorial hospital last Friday, I never ever had anything like this in my life, and even not in this hospital before as it was not a first time I went there for a blood test. The lady was smiling but she stuck the needle as hard as she probably could, i never felt so much pain while blood test taken before, but i was trying to cope. At home the pain got worse and i couldn’t move my arm and even called 111 for an advice, I couldn’t go to work next day and its 6 days since i still in pain and horribly bruised. I was calling and complaining about it to them but they said they don’t take complaints and can not give me that nurse’s name, my review about it was not posted on NHS website as they probably post only positive ones. In my opinion this sadistic woman should not be working as a nurse, no empathy at all, only sarcastic smile, I will try go ahead with my complaint anyway and I hope I will never see her again there ……

Had an appointment on 3 March 2021 with the dermatology department, went for my appointment only to discover it was cancelled and no letter or phone call to tell me my appointment was cancelled. Worse yet, their machines for the licence plate were off and now I got a fine letter through the post despite the fact I was told inside the hospital that the usual control on parking is not happening due to COVID. So now I have to deal with that too. Terrible management, terrible parking situation considering COVID is going on, the machines are off and yet they are still sending the fines out despite the fact visitors cannot enter their plate details. If you go to hospital now and they tell you the machines are off and you won't get fine, DO NOT BELIEVE THEM THEY LIE AND YOU WILL STILL GET FINE. Ensure you find the right person in hospital and they take down your licence plate details.

I visited the Walk-in Centre at Finchley Memorial Hospital and unfortunately had an extremely negative experience. The customer service was beyond terrible and I would rate it a zero-star experience. The staff members were extremely rude, unhelpful, and seemed to hate their job. It was as if they didn't want to be there and were taking their frustrations out on the patients. I have been to other hospitals, such as the Royal Free Hospital, where the staff treated me with respect and made me feel like a valued patient. However, the experience at Finchley Memorial Hospital was entirely different. The staff treated me like I was a burden and made me feel like a dirty scum. Based on my experience, I would not recommend the Walk-in Centre at Finchley Memorial Hospital. I would much rather suffer at home than endure the terrible service and disrespectful staff again.

Sent here by 111 as I have tinnitus and hearing loss from 2 covid vaccines, and had a flu vaccine 2 days ago which has made my ears painful and my tinnitus 9 out of 10 instead of 5 out of 10. I was told there was a doctor which is why I came but they're isn't. Waited 3 hours as others, who came after me were seen. Eventually saw a male nurse(?) To tell me there was no infection (looked in both my ears with no cover on the device so great for infection - how many ears has it been in?) and said he couldn't help as that was all he could do and it was only him. I now have to go to A&E at 7pm on a Saturday night to try and get help for my hearing and to stop this terrible noise and pain and hopefully be given something to improve it. I hope that they are never cursed with bad tinnitus and ear pain as it can drive people insane. What a badly run, useless place!!!

  • Taz Mania

I don't go the doctor very regularly due to the terrible treatment I usually receive across the board with the NHS. I decided to visit the A&E of this place out of urgency, I could not remember my NHS medical number off by heart so I presented my EU passport as a point of reference. I was then humiliated by a 6 ft receptionist lady of west-Indian ethnicity and middle aged, at the A&E desk shouting at me aggressively in-front of all the other patients and I was told "that for all I know you could be a foreigner coming over here trying to claim assistance from us". A racist rant that was launched at me before even checking her records. So what, as racist shot first and then ask questions later? I've lived here all my life since a childhood and I pay more taxes than you or the average resident. You are a disgrace to all who associate with you madam.

I went there on a Sunday to have my toddler checked after complaining of stomach pain for a few hours. The staff were courteous and professional and really helped us through the difficult moments. Of particular help was Dr. Ade Ojo of the urgent care unit who went above and beyond to ensure that our toddler got the best care possible. After seeing us earlier, I returned to drop off her sample for testing at around 9pm thinking he had closed from work (he said he was closing at 8pm). I did not meet him so I dropped it off with one of the medical staff there, hoping he would receive it the next day. On my way home, we got a call asking me to return quickly. It was Dr. Ade who had found an infection and prescribed and supplied the necessary medication promptly. I highly recommend him and the hospital. Thank you Dr. Ade!

One of my favourite hospitals to have blood tests or be treated at A&E. Thank you so much everyone! The Reception desk team were very helpful and friendly people. Of course, every A&E department warns you of waiting from 3-5 hours to be seen by a doctor or nurse… I was waiting for 4 hours until I spoke to a nurse. I was instantly told “if you have high fever or are bleeding- you will be seen first.” I had a large cyst under my arm and was in tremendous pain for a few days. It seemed rather disappointing that patients waiting in A&E are all ranked in order of their pain levels.. Rather than “first come, first served.” One of the nurses told me to visit A&E at Whittington Hospital or UCLH next time.. So, with all of that being said, it has indeed been noted! ✅

I wish I had good things to say about the service provided at this hospital but I really don't. On several occasions the receptionist and nurses are really unhelpful. It's bad that we have to be sick going to a walk in service or do other treatments to then be treated like we are a nuisance to their day. I guess the only friendly and helpful people are the one's that work in the pharmacy. Now, I did blood tests last month, after much chasing they lost my blood tests. While I was taking blood and asked the nurse "how long it would take" she just smacked the wall and said "it's on the paper". When I then asked "does this include weekend and bank Holidays" she went again to smack the paper on wall without saying a word. There is other things so I'm just leaving you one star. Appaling...

I recently had the opportunity to experience the exceptional services at the ultrasound department of this hospital, and I am thoroughly impressed. The reception team's friendliness and professionalism set the tone for a positive visit. The ultrasound team members are not only knowledgeable but also incredibly reassuring and understanding. It's clear that they prioritize patient comfort and well-being. The hospital's quiet ambiance, combined with its focus on outpatients, creates a serene environment for medical appointments. Additionally, the availability of free parking for those traveling by car is a thoughtful convenience. Overall, my experience was outstanding, thanks to the dedicated staff and patient-centric approach of this hospital's ultrasound team.

Went to the walk- in clinic and have to say the nurses, x ray lady and doctors are absolutely fantastic. You know something that really gets me ? Bad customer service, especially when the people that treat you like crap are the very ones who are getting paid to offer a good service. The receptionists in that place are awful, especially the condescending black coordinator. I wish there were some kind of mistery shopper like companies set up to see if the staff treat customers like they should. They would fail, they chat between them while you wait for them to finish whatever latest gossip they were talking about and when they finally acknowledge you, they make you feel like you are wasting their time- yep, the time they are getting paid for... to help you out.

  • Henrieta Surikovaite

If you have a sore throat they will turn you away at the walk-in as they have their own policy, which is not mentioned anywhere on their website, of only 5 people with a sore throat. Kind of ridiculous for a healthcare provider, seems like they have forgotten about their duties towards upholding health and safety. Don’t bother going here if you have a sore throat just call 111 instead as that is what they will suggest anyways. Or tell you to call your GP, which is silly as it is a Saturday and no GPs are available, as to why I went to the walk-in in the first place. Definitely bellow par service, and has been like this since I can remember. I’d suggest going to a&e somewhere else as they simply do not want to do their jobs here.

Father in law admitted here for rehab following decline with dementia. Nice environment but let down by really poor staff and attitude. Not as though rushed or understaffed as all staff did was sit around doing nothing or playing on phoes. Didn't respond to call alarms of patients and left father in law too many times in insanitary conditions. No respect or dignity afforded patients. As for rehab they basically said after a few days there was no point and stopped, very uprubt and rude lady. Father in law had good mobility prior and GP astonished by this advice. Reported the care to the care quality commission who are investigating and I would urge others who have reported similar stories to do the same...

  • iryna zhuravlyova

My son was referred to walk in clinic by 111 due to his infected lip which caused him to have a fever. The staffs on reception attitude was absolutely shocking once I’ve told them he’s had a fever last night. She then checks his temperature and he didn’t have any. I was asked to wait outside until she spoke to a doctor. I was left outside in the cold for over 15 minutes with my son and when I went back in she’s said the doctor is not happy to see him. Cheers. It’s his birthday today and I didn’t plan to be in the hospital let alone to be refused medical care for someone who’s turned 5 today. Are doctors meant to help the sick? Absolutely shocking.

  • LB

I understand the enormous pressure the healthcare workers have been under but I was stunned by how curt, unhelpful and rude the women was who answered the phone in the Gynaecology department. When I explained my MRI results were still not back and I was trying to get my results, she inferred I was lying or stupidly mistaken because she's never heard of an MRI given for a gynaecological issue and to get it from the Xray Department. Really? The X-ray department is going to give me any serious news about their findings instead of a doctor?? How shabby and careless. When I asked her that, she just cut me off and told me to call Xray.

  • Funda

My experience at this hospital was absolutely exceptional. The staff were very tentative, engaging and thoughtful. I had an MRI scan at the weekend and although I was nervous cos of my previous experience at another hospital the staff made me feel at ease and looked after me. It’s an amazing hospital which I had never heard of before until I was given an appointment. The MRI weekend team are absolutely wonderful and very professional staff. I felt very comfortable under the scanner and I was always spoken to. This is an excellent hospital for patients and I highly recommend it. Thank you MRI team.

  • alice S

Originally I started going here for blood tests- I usually faint and don't deal well with blood tests but the nurses here are really skilled and never hurts, they're understanding and supportive. I've recently been to the walk in clinic twice now and have been amazed by the service. They say that the estimated waiting time is roughly 3.5 hours but i always have been seen a lot faster than this and again, the nurses here are fantastic. In particular today I dealt with nurse Michael who helped me understand what is happening to me in detail and took care to help my issue. Thank you for your service!

  • Rita Jones

An amazing hospital with excellent compassionate care and support. The staffs (Talia, Priscilla, belinda& Natalie ) from phone consultation, receptionist and other members of staffs; even the security guards were very caring and courteous with consistent services and dedication to customer care. It is an infectious atmosphere and I would high recommend this hospital to anyone who has doubts about what to expect. So please with the level of support and recognition for dignity to be maintained throughout my experience with them. A massive thank you to all the staffs that makes all the difference.

  • Soham Patel

Our massive thanks to the infusion suite team from nurses to the receptionists on the way in which the cancer treatment was organised and carried out for my mum. They have been incredibly efficiently, thorough and caring even though working under extremely challenging covid circumstances. They are all a true testament to the NHS of incredibly lucky we are to have a system and team like this on which we can rely on during our darkest days in life. We are incredibly grateful for all your help and support over past couple of years. Kind regards Mr Soham Patel on behalf of my mum Mrs Vandana Patel

  • Evie Bea Twenty

My relative was in Marjorie Warren ward and I found 95% staff very lazy, rude and full of attitude. Especially at the weekend. I often sat watching nurses sitting at the desk ignoring the phone and patient buzzers. They left elderly patients on the toilet for 30 minutes, were rude to them when they did eventually answer and if you asked for a cup of tea it was like you had asked them to nip to McDonalds .The social worker made so many mistakes it was a joke and she could never get mine or my relatives name right. If you can't be kind, caring and polite, get a job as a parking ticket operative.

  • Dyllan W

Honestly, if you are in need of medical help you’re better off calling 999. Constantly being told incorrect information, being sent from department to department to only go back to the initial person because I should have been given a referral??? Then being told to come back the next day?!? I have never considered private health care more today then ever before. If I could leave less than one star I would. The staff are not sympathetic to their patients and genuine questions are met with blunt replies and a “not my problem” attitude. Honestly just a waiting room before you collapse or worse.

  • Laurence Wise

Myself and my partner are really unhappy with the service that we received from Finchley memorial walk in center, very poor. The receptionist was fine but nurse and doctor sub standard. We feel that the nurse didn't listen to us.I had a high temperature and a viral infection. I needed antibiotics but wasn't given them after continuously being told I had a 2 hour wait which turned into 4 hours. We think the doctor was a student doctor with not much experience. After I came away from there still feeling really unwell.I do know that the NHS is under pressure but this is totally unacceptable!

  • Leonardo Fusa

Rude ! The reception they just have something better to do than be polite and let people feel welcome. Especially the walking centre department. As soon as you walk in, they look at you bad and let you feel scared to even ask just an information. It’s just ridiculous how they treat you. Way more important for them to blame you for don’t have a Gp than to listen which HEALTH problem you actually have. I wouldn’t even give a star to this hospital. Such a shame being in a place where you should be looked after and instead you getting blamed and offended. Absolutely not recommended.

  • Ani S

I have serious concerns about the service of the walk in centre. The receptionists are extremely unprofessional and unwelcoming. I waited at the walk in centre for 3 hours to be seen (as expected, I have no problem in waiting) however during this time the receptionists were so unprofessional towards patients coming in. Extremely loud in discussing peoples problems they were attending with, had loud and long personal conversations with each other and just generally seemed unapproachable and blunt. The dr/nurse who actually saw me though was great and efficient

  • kalpesh shah

No wonder the NHS are in trouble. A simple blood test had been booked , I used the same email address as my fathers blood test , but changed the details . However when I arrived for the blood test , I was turned away because of the same email address and told to come back at later time. I asked that they already have the time slot for me , but she refused to help. She was more interested in what they were cooking for dinner with her colleagues. Simple common-sense instead of being arrogant is all you need. Good luck NHS with ignorant staff like these !!!

  • Justin Peters

I went to finchley memorial walk in centre. This is not the first time I have been to this particular site, I find the staff and establishment to been extremely good, better than a lot of hospitals we have today. I will travel the 30 minutes just to be seen by them rather than go to my local as truly believe they give a better care to the people that walk through their doors. I can't tell people the amount of times I was simply dismissed by my general hospital when I felt that my issue was serious. Thank you North finchley memorial hospital.

  • Daffodil L

I have visited the CT scan unit in the parking lot last week. The lady who did my scan was professional and caring. Her colleague not much, I could clearly saw on her face she just hates to be there. She was trying to find the spot for the cannula on both of my hands and couldn’t. Other lady found it in seconds. Might need a training. I left with good experiences tho, I cannot say anything about the hospital staff inside as I just popped in to the disabled toilet (I am disabled). That was clean and well equipped, looked after.

  • Muge BN

My experience on this morning visit was great. The receptionist Viki was helpful and explained everything in detail. I found the parking spot easily and registered my car without issue. Don’t forget to register it, it is free. I had MRI done, didn’t wait and people were friendly from start to finish. The scan machine was new and the staff was helpful during the process. Didn’t have any bad experience overall. Clean hospital, and restroom. You can see signs clearly and read instructions easily.

  • Kerrie Tripp

On arrival there was a big sign stating you should be seen for triage after 20 mins. When I questioned the receptionist after 2 hours she told me there was no triage. In quite a rude manor. We waited over four hours to be seen by a nurse and there seemed to be no order as lots of people came in after us. And we’re seen first. I had a nasty dog bite which didn’t get clean for over four hours by which time had sealed up. Found receptionist rude . 4 and a quarter hours to be seen not great.

  • Charlie C

I had an absolutely horrific experience with a middle aged blonde called Sue - a very rude receptionist at the blood test desk who denied me my appointment and said she couldn’t help me with my blood test forms. Disappointing that your health data is handled by unprofessional people like this. Genuinely don’t know how people like this work in healthcare of all professions - feel sorry for the vulnerable people who end up not getting the care they need because of awful people like this.

  • Alex Ross

Leila quickly and professionally took my blood She was pleasant and the procedure was painless .She quickly identified I needed blood taken from m hand as I don't show a vein on my arms .I am a bit squeamish but she was very kind courteous and caring and an asset to the hospital .The receptionist worked hard to fit me in as I thought like x-ray it was a walk in service not appointment. Both ladies did an exemplary job .A very clean modern hospital .Well Done Finchley Memorial !

  • Calli Pellegrini

Called to check the waiting time of the walk in centre before coming here. When I arrived, it was 1-1.5 hours. That was 3 hours ago and still waiting to be seen. The receptionist was completely unapologetic of the fact they got the waiting times so wrong. The attractive waiting room does nothing to abate the disorganised way in which this service seems to be run. Given some of similar reviews on Google, this hospital seems to have no interest in addressing this for patients.

  • Cee DEE

To wait to be seen while you are in so much pain is worst ever but to be scolded by the receptionist in front of everyone is far worst than ever. Very disrespectful receptionist in the walk in department.! I explained that I heard a nurse calling a different name so I didnt bother and she was like im sure our nurses can read! And started to raise her voice and telling me to sit next to the door! I hope the management would be able to check this woman's behaviour! Disgusting!

  • Almona Choudhury

I had a CT scan at this Hosptal this week and I was impressed with their exceptional and efficient service. The low rise architecture of the new building is appealing too. En route from the bus stop lies a small Synagogue that is barricaded all round by a huge metal fence with security personelle on foot patrole and huge CCTVs dotted about. With the Zionist rulers of Israel committing apartheid against the Palestinians, this sore site and does not entirely surprise me.

  • Len Swipe

My review is based upon multiple visits over many years. It is not based on a one-off experience. All the reception and security staff are rude, disinterested, slovenly and unhelpful. One woman who wears 'tent' type dresses just walks right through the que, practically barging people while carrying her takeaway coffee aloft. There is one exception and that is the lovely lady on the blood test reception. The actual medical staff are all lovely.

  • Maxime Dcq

Staff here is always great and thoughtful. Very welcoming and caring. The receptionist at the NHS Walk-in Centre was very reassuring and smiling which is the best when you're in pain! Can't thank them enough for taking care of me earlier this year. I also went here to get some blood tests done and an ultra-sound which all went well thanks to the lovely staff once again. The atmosphere in this brand-new/renovated building is nice

All these years, I have been to this hospital many times, mainly minor injuries of children or me. Almost all experiences have been great. I went there today for blood sugar test. It was easy and convenient to book online. I have forgotten to bring my test form with me so needed to rush home and was 15 minutes late. The receptionist was very helpful and considerate, all staff are friendly, I have to say thank you to them all.

  • Niraksha Nakrani

Arrived at the walk in. The receptionist saw me standing there but could not bring herself round to telling me there is another person who can see me. When she finished seeing the person (this person was filling in a form while she sat there) she just walked to the back room. Why can’t they communicate. It was only when I realised she was not coming back out I asked the other person who said she could log me in

My Blood test appointment was booked for 19.10. I decided to arrive early and being nervous I didn’t have to wait because there was no queue and the receptionist A most polite lady booked me in and asked me to take a seat in the waiting area. No sooner than I sat down on the chair provided! My name was called and the test was done in under 10 minutes. I was home and happy. Godbless All At Finchley Memorial

Good facilities but lots and lots of rules. If you park you need to register your car at reception otherwise if you forget you’ll get a fine. Also, cannot walk in for a blood test with a gp form, you have to sign up online or call. However online they don’t have all bookings available and calling them is always a hassle as they are only open in the morning and sometimes it can lead to long queue on the phone.

  • Nisha Shah

Whilst the staff doing the blood tests are good, the phone service is absolutely hopeless! They have extended the times of the tests and do them at weekends as well, but when you call the answer you get is - they are closed on weekends and telephone lines close at 12pm. What is the point of having extended hours when elderly patients can't get through! Please click into your information and sort it out.

  • Brian Sullivan

Called here as my wife had a surgical tattoo after cancer . We were concerned about a possible infection the triarge nurse treated us like she had gone to some dodgy Tattoo artist in some back street Market. She was do upset and we were so disgusted we walked out and went to A&E who confirmed all was OK. The Tattooist was recommended by Cancer research. But thet just treated her like some low life.

  • Chelle

from the ladies on reception, to each nurse i have dealt, with i cannot fault the service i received. friendly, informative and made me feel at ease. arrived at 8.30am for the walk-in and was seen within 40 minutes. follow up appointments were running on time, received a referral within a week. plus the added benefit of free parking (dont forget to register your vehicle). a true credit to the NHS.

I have been to this hospital a few times, and my experiences have always been great. I usually go there for blood tests, nurses are always kind and friendly. Today I went because of injured foot, and nurse Tina was just amazing with me. She gave me all the recommendation to get my foot healed as fast as possible and also a support shoe to relieve the pain at home. I can't say thank you enough!

  • Alenka

Just came back from phlebotomy at Finchley memorial hospital and the lady there (Marlena) was amazing. Very welcoming, polite and respectful and willing to answer any questions as I had blood test done just two days ago elsewhere and my GP still didn't get the results. (That would be another review but with much less stars!! ) The way she did the blood test was easy and not painful at all.

  • Jad Deeb

Great hospital with nice staff NOTICE : I had to do a full back x-ray there but couldn't do so because they do not have full back x-ray equipment. Nonetheless the staff was very quick to tell me that this was the case and directed me towards the nearest hospital that does so, even gave me the bus number! So all in all, great staff that seem to actually care about the patients in general.

  • Shaun Russell

Had an appointment this afternoon (03/06/19). The blond headed receptionist just took my appointment letter, and asked me to wait next to the reception area. The receptionist went home, and didn't give my file to the nurse. I was waiting for ages . It is not the first time that the same receptionist treats me, with indifference. The nurse and doctor were very nice to me. Irene Russell

  • Jess F

I had to come here on Christmas Day 2016 I called 111 and I managed to get an appointment I didn't have to wait long, the receptionists were both lovely and the doctor was charming I couldn't ask for better care I was in there for about 20-30 mins waiting but once I was seen it was quick but the doctor made sure what was going on. Thank you to the wonderful stuff for such great care!

  • Angela K.

I had a Sunday MRI which I appreciated so I could have assistance. The staff were great and the facility was uber clean. It looks like a new build, never even heard of it before, but a lovely clinic for locals. The MRI machine was fresh and new, smelled nice and I actually fell asleep in it, it was that peaceful. I wish we had nice small, clean clinics like this in central London.

  • Abi Carter

I had incredible care from a medic called Tina. Despite the fact the walk in centre was super busy, she took the time and care to diagnose my broken leg, plaster it, get me food when I felt really faint and was caring, funny and kind. She went the extra mile and I'm very grateful to her. I hope the hospital bosses read these reviews so they can celebrate their brilliant staff.

  • Borbala Albert

Simply the worst NHS service I have ever came across. Unhelpful staff, complete lack of any compassion towards people in excruciating pain. Letting me trying to walk with major leg injurie without offering help, wheelchair or crouches. God help us all who need to go there. And don’t come to me with the short of staff/ underpaid explanation- they all seemed completely relaxed.

  • Barney Arundell

I went this morning with a raging infection in the right hand side of my face - very painful. The receptions were very kind and sympathetic. I was seen within half an hour the doctor was also sympathetic, friendly and non-judgemental. He gave me the medication I badly needed. The new building is lovely - we are very lucky to have such a service free at the point of use.

  • L “De facto” G

Unhelpful staff, unable to provide support if you have an ear infection. They said I must go to A&E? What’s the point of this Walk-in Centre? Most staff was at the back drinking beverages and on their phones except for the nurse at the front desk who was atrocious and denied me care. I suppose this must be a private Trust that they feel above everyone else.

  • Sezay Emin

All are useless far from Nurses or Doctor's..been 5pm on walk in centre they don’t accept us because shift is finishing at 9pm “ i dont want stay more than this time Mr Emilian he say clearly on check in desk” waht kind of service they do there i been first time on this Hospital never ever i will go ..Rude accent and unprofessional far way from NHS

  • Jennifer Rossiter

Incredibly efficient I had a CT appointment at 8.30 on a saturday - I arrived to find plenty of parking which was free (unusual for NHS car parks) as long as you register your car on a tablet in the reception area. At 8.42 I'm already back in my car having picked up a coffee at the nice (and already open at 8.30 on a Saturday) coffee stand.

  • Sumbul Aman

I had to go the walk in in finchley memorial hospital, first I waited for 3 hours, the staff is racist and discriminatory. Then this awful rude nurse saw me, and said it will take 3 weeks for your chest to clear, i am coughing blood and having chest pain. They should really shut this hospital down. I have to contact private healthcare.

  • Sara Saysso

They didn't contact my GP to correct an admin error so that I could have had my blood test that day. This turned a 1 trip task into a 4 trip one. The issue was actually that my GP surgery had given me paperwork for an unregistered patient. As we are related and not registered, I didnt notice the different 1st name... Unexpected.

  • Ajith Nair

We went there for my child after 6 pm. The nurse was ready for a chit chat but she refused to check my child since there are no doctors. She asked me to go to the nearest A&E. She also said she was very tired. I understand the reason why the NHS is going on strikes. They are being made to work long hours and may be low pay too.

  • Paul Cotsen

I had to attend for a medical self-help course on a Saturday. It was very quiet with no sign of activity. I'm not sure if there are wards. I assume so, but it isn't like a busy hospital with people coming and going. Parking was free as we using the hospital services on a weekend. It might not be free during the week.

  • Ethan Gillespie

I arrived when they opened to avoid long waits, which seemed to work as I spent a total of ~40m waiting between assessment, xray, and results. Staff were business-like and pleasant enough: neither rude nor especially friendly (except for the last Nurse Practitioner who walked me through my results, who was lovely).

  • Hair BSB

Abrupt and rude. If you are in a caring profession at least try and show some. I think I will have to say on my visit next week that the reviews are all true and perhaps read them. All in all my visit left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. So pleased other people agree with my opinion as my visit today upset me

  • sasha zahid

I came here with my daughter after being referred to the walk in centre by my gp, the receptionist was unprofessional and I overheard them gossiping about several patients. They are in need of proper training. Just because there the NHS they think there above us. Very disappointing and shameful attitude …

  • Cláudia

There is no communication with the reception and nurse. I was waiting for one hours to be attended after one hour I receded to asking in I am in the wrong place. One of the nurse told me that my appointment has been called after a long journey to get to the hospital. It's not acceptable this kind of service.

  • Gareth Turner

Great for blood tests with free parking (just remember to enter your vehicle registration number into the consoles located within the hospital- there's plenty of them and well publicised), very friendly and caring staff and a Costa inside for snacks. Much more convenient than Chase Farm or Barnet General..

  • David Jacobs

I broke my ankle this morning. I arrived at the hospital at around 1100. I was seen by the triage nurse, x-rayed and seen by the nurse practitioner and given a protective boot returning home 90:minutes later. Professional service delivered by caring staff in all the departments I attended. Thank you.

  • Ross Malickis

On my visit everything was great. I had MRI done, no wait and staff were friendly. There is free parking at hospital but you have to enter your number plate inside at kiosk, car park is really spacious. As far as I know there is no A&E only walk-in centre where you can be treated for minor injuries.

  • Martyn Borovick

Absolutely brilliant walk in dept. If you want to be in and out fairly quickly arrive early. They open at 8 am. I was out by 9 am. Then stopped for a wonderful " delicious coffee " that the name of the small coffee + cakes stall in the hall. Everyone was polite and helpful. No A& E dept.

  • Jimmy Tottenham

I was at A&E last Saturday at Barnet General. Sensibly they insisted no entry without mask. Covid cases soaring. Today I’m at Finchley Memorial unexpectedly bringing my mother. All staff have masks but majority of patients are without. Yet both hospitals in Barnet. Reckless!

  • Maria Jac

Good experience at the Dermatology clinic, was seen straight away. Dr pleasant and kind. He was patient allowing me to explain all and show him photos of my skin with the outbreak. He made me feel comfortable and even froze a wart on my leg which was quick. Thank you! :)

  • Katarzyna Gencer

This is my nearest local walk -in centre and x-ray department. Waiting time is slightly shorter than in a bigger hospital. The staff is helpful and caring. The downside of this hospital is, there is no A&E department so in case of emergency you need to go to Barnet Hosp.

  • Sam Cox

We are so lucky to have a walk-in centre within a couple of miles from us. Always struggling to get a gp appointment post Covid. We had less than a 2hr wait and saw a great nurse who was kind and thorough. More people should use this service rather than blocking up A&E!

  • Milan jankovic

Very rude security staff was waiting for my heavily pregenat partner to come outside the hospital to come in the van and i got abused by the secuirty staff to move was there for 3min. Very bad experiance. The security to do there job and parking stuff to do there job.

  • Sarah Maria

Receptionist staff rude, however the doctor Alex she was super lovely and helpful. Waited 2 hours and 30 mins with a lot of pain with my stomach it turned out I had a kidney stone, Alex referred me to A&E for more tests as at that point she didn't know what I had.

  • Anna G

Brilliant place! This is a perfect example how the hospital should look like and how the treatment of patients should be like. I had an MRI done and it was a top private hospital experiance. Well done and thank you to everyone at Finchley Memorial Hospital!

  • I. A.

The guy at the "information" desk need to learn some manners...(should have taken his name) but worked on the 12.03 at 8am. Very rude to the arriving patients and talking with the mouth full of food. But the rest of the staff very helpful and friendly.

  • Jack T

Patients are treated Disgustingly bad by the staff. The nurses looking after the patient are miserable and don’t give a high enough level of care. The patient we visited would be left unattended for hours after requesting help. Awful Awful Awful

  • ANNA STAR

Very nice kind people as soon I have entered this hospital staff was ready to help absolutely everything is nice and easy in Memorial Hospital Very clean Amazing staff On time Parking place Staff at the reception very helpful 5 stars not enough

  • Pradip Patel

Fell off a ladder arrived at 10.30 had an X-ray left at 4.30. No problem with the wait (it’s not the hospitals fault) left with a broken wrist in plaster . Thank you very much to all the staff that saw me especially young. Elliot

  • Lynne

Fantastic service from consultant Stephen GP -had issue with left earing that got embedded within the ear, was delt with quickly and pain-free. Was seen within the hour which was good. Reception staff were fine. Recommended

  • Yael K

Very nice hospital . No a&e . They offer blood tests ( pre booked ) as well as many other services . Polite staff , helpful . Unfortunately toilet facilities were rather dirty which is shocking saying it’s a hospital

  • Magda Matu

Great , clean and new hospital. I have used Walk-in clinic on few occasions, waiting time around 3hr but I guess it depends on the day. Receptionists friendly and helpful... very positive experience overall.

  • ASM

The staff at the walk in centre are outstanding. They go above and beyond to treat you and comfort you. They were polite, helpful and really deliver an outstanding service. Can't thank the nurses enough!

  • Jane Hassan

Fantastic service today at the walk in centre. Seen very quickly and the nurse was kind, understanding and very gentle when removing stitches. The end to end service is impeccable. Thank you.

  • Antoinette Patou

Excellent communication from NHS staff, quick & easy, with hardly no waiting time. Good covid restrictions in place. High standard of cleanliness, Parking system explained at point of entry.

  • Danny Skynews

A very good hospital, I would have given it 5 stars but buying a coffee for £3,25 is just a ripp off I would have not minded if it was good, but it tasted like dish water a total ripp off

  • Fred Sp

Community hospital wirh no A & E. department. Blood tests appointment required in advance & free parking as long as you inform reception on arrival. Prompt, helpful & efficient service.

  • Kevin Whelan

I really valued the care during my visit and treatment. The admin and medical staff were skilled and professional. It would have been 5 Stars if it hadn't been for the two hour wait.

  • muntaha tanna

The receptionist lady need to humble , the minute I went there she start rolling her eyes as if she doesn’t want me to be there nor I wanna be there in the hospital .

  • Bruno Rother

Went today for a blood test, both the receptionist and the nurse were very kind and a great service from start to finish. Very clean and friendly staffs, thank you.

  • Palena Nash

I had a breast screening today by Oyin. She was very efficient and professional and she me real very relaxed. It was over very quick. Very good service. Thankyou.

  • Heidi Park

Blood test quick, efficient and friendly for someone like me that often faints, it’s that little bit extra they do here that makes all the difference.

  • Elena ZinskiArt

I have to mention conscientious coffee cafe within the hospital. Excellent coffee served by wonderful, friendly people. Cannot rate highly enough

  • Paul Lincoln

Visited CT/MRI mobile department today, was seen quickly, Alastair and the others were lovely. Explained everything, very attentive. Great bunch!

  • barry goodwin

3 hour wait for wife's x ray for broken wrist then sent to Barnet General for treatment . Another 6 hours in travel and waiting 9 hours in total
