2 things happened and are the reasons we will never be ordering food from here again. 1st - I called ahead and ordered 2 pizzas. 1 veggie and 1 build your own with bbq, chicken, and onion. The girl told me it would be ready in 30 minutes and took my contact information. When my boyfriend went to pick up our food, she told him that they could not make the build your own pizza, so he waited there for another pizza to be made. No one called us, even though they had our information, which is so inconsiderate. 2nd - they put ham on my veggie pizza. I have Alpha-gal syndrome and am a forced vegan for this reason. My only reaction to mammal meat is anaphylaxis. When I called, the girl told me that they couldn’t make the build you own pizza because it would have taken too much bbq sauce and that they don’t have enough chicken. When my boyfriend ordered his new pizza, he put chicken on it! So that just doesn’t make sense! And who puts ham on a freaking veggie pizza? She had no explanation for that. She told me the owner would call me in the morning to make things right but I never received a call and it has now been ~48 hours. They lost 2 long time customers, and we lost $15 because they put ham on a pizza with a house that contains a woman with alpha-gal and a man that can’t eat pork for religious reasons. No remorse. So disappointing.

Alright. So I've had Joelton and now Pleasant View. Here's what I got. Pizza - lots of toppings. Good stuff. Not homemade dough, but really good Wings - phew! Wings have gotten expensive. They usually give you big pieces, though. Have some good flavors, too. Try the bourbon! Now, the service can be rough. Big time hit and miss. You'll also notice people will walk in the door, sit down, and get pizzas way before you do. Order ahead for sit down, I guess?? I'm not a fan. Feels bad as a customer who's come in, ordered, and then waited to then see a whole family come in and basically step over you. This has happened at least twice for me. Edit, the last time I went, the ranch serving was better. Get a pizza to go, drink a beer, and have some fried pepperoni while you wait. They're good, too. Summertime on the PV patio should be nice as well.

Overall excellent, wish we were locals. Cracker crust pizza (with pepperoni, mushroom, black olives) had a great crispy crust, good amount of toppings. Onion rings had a nice crunchy breading and onion itself perfect texture. Hand tossed pizza, sausage and pepperoni, good amount of spice and flavor in the meats. Quality cheese in good amounts. Chicken salad in a lettuce wrap - perfect amount of sweetness and the lettuce was very fresh. Chicken strips were real meat and had a nice, thinner and crunchy breading, fries were excellent. All the staff very friendly, our waitress was in training and did an excellent job. Owner (who resembles Tim McGraw, in case you wanted to know..lol) showed us great hospitality.

Don’t go looking for a job at this place. Was told a week ago that I would start working at their new location on the 18th as a server, only to be told today that they found someone else for the position due to the person having better availability. Very unprofessional in the sense of lack of Communication in regards that they could have told me that if they found someone who could cover more shifts than then they will hire that person, and I would’ve understood completely. Not to tell me I have the job, agree on a date to start working, and then say we gave it to someone else and to keep them posted if my schedule allows me to be more available. I feel like that speaks volumes and I will never step foot into their restaurant. Nor those that I have told about this mishap.

This place was recommended by a work colleague, and it didn’t disappoint. I’ve spent a lot of time in Italy and southern Brazil, where the pizza is even better than in Italy IMO, and would rate this highly. Firecracker’s is American pizza, which is not a bad thing of course, and it’s very, very good American pizza. They have an interesting variety of sauces for their wings, so they’re on the right track. But a key improvement I’d suggest (if they read these reviews) is that they make their own ranch and blue cheese dressing from scratch, which isn’t hard to do and makes all the difference in the world. If they started doing that, I’d definitely try the wings again.

  • Nick Stockam

The staff there is awesome. Friendly and helpful. We had the fired pickles, not the best but still good. The wings where cooked perfectly. Crunchy and moist. The lemon pepper was great on the wings. The had quite a few flavors to choose from. The pizza selection is limited but it keep the quality high. Had the supreme pizza, it was great. Tons of toppings. FYI it had pineapple on it. I didn't mind it but I know some people hate pineapple on pizza. Also had the meat lovers with thin crust. The thin crust was good. They aren't shy about putting topping on a pizza. It was very filling pizza.

So glad we found this place! Family was looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat on our road trip home, saw this place on the route and decided to give it a try. The food was hot and fresh and VERY delicious! The staff was very friendly and welcoming! Loved it! If we're ever in the area again we'll definitely be back!

Driving from Illinois to Florida, Googled a place to eat nearby, directions to us here!! A little difficult to find at first but you will not be disappointed!! We had a party 12, service was outstanding, food was excellent. We ordered appetizers of mozzarella sticks, cheesy bread, mushrooms, fried zucchini. The crew ordered a different variety of pizza, wings and burgers. Excellent meal on the road, friendly service and hospitality as we invaded their restaurant. Thank you for a great meal and experience!!

We stayed at an inn right down the road, and was not expecting too much from a small town pizza place. It was one of the only options available in the area... It turned out to be great, I recommend the firecracker crust, which is thin and crunchy but not too thin. Plenty of cheese and toppings, I wish they had one here in Memphis I'd definitely start getting pizza from there!

I'd like to leave a comment referring to "Tina Lopez" post! Tina, if it was REALLY as bad as you say it was, why didn't you mention it to "Firecracker" himself or one of 5he GREAT people that work there?? " Firecrackers" pizza has always been GREAT! In fact we heading there now- although it'll be closer to 830.. Tina, I'm willing to bet (and if your honest with yourself, you'll agree), you probably go around and complain in hopes of getting free food, aren't you?? Get a life...

Good pizza. I really enjoyed the car show, a good Variety of new and old cars and trucks, my first time seeing a lowrider with Hydraulics. Hope too see more events like that up here in the big city of Joelton.

First time going here and my husband and I really enjoyed it. Had the fried mushrooms and a supreme pizza and all was very good. Great service as well. The owner came over to check on us and bought my husband a beer. Great atmosphere and can’t wait until the Pleasant View location opens up. We will definitely be back, and will bring the family next time. Thank you Firecracker for a great experience!!

To say the least, after inviting six of my friends to go there after looking at their menu items. I was very disappointed. I mean really $2 for one hot wing. I can remember when you can buy a whole chicken for $2. Pizza, was decent. Still didn't look like what was on the menu. Kind of skimpy. Probably won't be back.

Not alot of good places to eat in Joelton. Some will due, if you don't want to go in to Nashville. Fries were soggy and flavorless, even reheating in airfryer they were still soggy. Wings were okay but overpriced at $2 a wing. I looked them up on line and saw a price of $12 for 12 wings. Apparently, that was from 4 years ago. They are now $2 a wing.($24) I'm just done eating out locally. I will fix my wings which are actually better.

  • Jennica Peebles

My husband and I were on our way to Pigeon Forge and looked up on Google what it recommended to eat and Firecracker Pizza came up. Such a cute restaurant and the staff was very very nice! The owner was in there and asked if we wanted a different football game when it was the TN Titan game! I would highly recommend Firecracker Pizza the pizza was delicious and the sweet tea was also very good! Stop by they treat you like family.

  • Tina Lopez

Got two pizzas from here and wings while we were exploring Tennessee. Very disappointing. When we picked up our food it cost much more than the menu showed online and the pizza dough was not cooked all the way. Only the bottom was cooked. It tasted weird so I took off the toppings and the dough was nearly raw. Completely disgusting. Hotel near by recommended this place. If you like your food cooked properly, avoid this place.

  • Keri Ryan

The food was plentiful and tasted amazing. I ordered a pizza with veggies and no cheese. (I'm vegan) It was so good. The owner stopped by and chatted with us and made us feel so welcome. Definitely give this place a try and you will be delighted. We will absolutely be coming back.

Decent food. Prices are a little high and menu is limited. They do sell beer and have 60 to 75 inch screen tv's. Good place to go and watch football games. It can get loud and rowdy but owner seems to keep control. It is not a beer joint just a bunch of hell raising rednecks having fun. Maybe want to leave the little ones behind, especially during football season and Nas Car racing.

  • Zack Henry

Good pizza and appetizers, the fried pepperoni was interesting, but nothing life changing or worth going super out of your way for. If you're in the area and in the mood for pizza, definitely go for it.

I've never liked thin crust pizza but my boyfriend convinced me to try the thin cracker crust supreme pizza that has a lot of pretty much everything on it. OMG! Best pizza I've ever tasted. And the people who work at this small town establishment are the best! They'll even card you for alcohol purchases when you're a senior...makes me feel so young. I love it!

  • Chelsea Perkins

Service was excellent (we ordered pickup) and enjoyed their firecracker thin crust. I prefer my wings a bit more done but didn't ask for a certain way cooked. Love when I asked for extra blue cheese and celery they followed through. Just passing through but wouldn't mind stopping again if we find ourselves out this way. My 2 year old enjoyed the pizza as well.

  • John Ramsy

I ordered a large supreme for $17, looks like i got a large box not large pizza, not even shaped right. There should be more toppings on a supreme, otherwise i can go to gas station and get Hunts brother pizza for 10$ , same size with a lot more toppings. If you want to save a few dollars on my toppings and size, i will save as well by going somewhere else

  • CAROLE Ray

Its definitely a local favorite. Loved the small town atmosphere. Food was great. Personal size pizza was more than one could eat. Especially when you order the appetizer teaser. Fried pepperoni what an ideal. Along with many other options fried mushroons, pickles and corn nuggets to name a few.

I ordered take out, the staff was extremely helpful on the phone, patient with my order. When I arrived, she called me by name, showed me the pizza, asked if I needed to go condiments, all very personalized. The interior was clean, had the football game on television - I will definitely be back and likely dine in. Great addition to the local fare!

  • Sam Bullman

Super small, not too fancy and that's okay because the food is amazing. My husband had the wings and said they were cooked perfectly. I ordered a medium meat lovers pizza with a cracker crust. So good! The beer is at great prices as well. From the time we walked in to when we left everyone was so nice. It was needed after spending 12hrs in a car.

  • Nanci Thompson

Their supreme firecracker crust pizza is the best pizza of any kind I’ve ever tasted anywhere in all my 70 years. This little Joelton restaurant has great dine in and take out service. It’s like a pizza sports bar. They serve more than pizza though.

Fantastic experience. Warm welcome at the door. Great conversations with the owner and staff. Food was wonderful. We were from out of town visiting near by friends but felt like part of the Firecracker family for the time we we’re there. Overall wonderful experience, highly recommend, already told our local friends.

We are traveling out of state and found this place. We have never been to Nashville before. Awesome pizza! Great value! I think the price on a large pizza was $12 and it was a great size! "Peanut", our server is absolutely ADORABLE and is the main reason for the great review!! Eat here, you'll love it!

Cheesy goodness. Pineapple added to the cheese gives quality salty sweet...even for a nerd as myself as referenced by one of their down home Staff members. I appreciate the Hospitality that comes with Joelton. It's reflected in this Staff and around the town. Thank You. …

Our family of 16 came to eat dinner with 4+ kids and had an incredible experience. The owner was so personal and the waitress and staff just as friendly. The food was fast and the drinks kept coming. I would highly recommend this establishment!

  • Ethan Binkley

Food was great, people were friendly. NOTE: Honey hot sauce flavor is hotter than your typical honey bar-be-cue. The wings were still great, but for those of you like me who prefer your wings less spicy, this flavor still has some kick!

Hands down best wing flavors I've experienced! And that's saying something because I've tried wings in all 20 states I've visited. Great atmosphere... nice welcoming staff and patrons glad I stopped in.

  • Chris Berrios

Pizza was okay prices are too high and yes I know the world's given state but $12 for 6 small wings is too much. Not my environment with kids yelling and running all over the place either..... …
