I don't know why my review has been removed... But this is one of my favorite Whiskey bars in the city. I am happy and somewhat surprised by how popular this place is among young Vietnamese. The Whiskey list is endless... The service is attentive and speak English. The atmosphere is on point, but it can get noisier than what you'd expect. Well, more success means more noise. And as you might suspect, it is not the cheapest place in town. Oh, I also love their cheese toasts (or whatever it is called). But they changed the cheese a year or two ago. The cheese is less sharp compared to the old recipe. Good, but really not as addictive as it used to be... I hope they'll change it back! Anywho, great place! Highly recommended! I mean, no, don't go please... Keep it quiet :P

Mình vừa đến Firkin Bar. Nó nằm trên một con phố nhỏ ở trung tâm thành phố và có khung cảnh đẹp đầy ấn tượng. Không gian bên trong quán rộng rãi và được trang trí bằng đèn neon và nhạc nền tuyệt vời. Mình cảm thấy rất lãng mạn và quyến rũ khi thưởng thức đồ uống tại đây. Các loại cocktail tại quán bar này rất ngon và độc đáo, được pha chế bằng cách kết hợp các loại rượu và các nguyên liệu tươi ngon. Bên cạnh đó, quán còn có danh sách đồ uống rất phong phú và đa dạng, từ rượu vang đắt tiền cho đến bia nhập khẩu. Mình rất thích những loại cocktail tại đây, vì chúng có hương vị đặc trưng và rất thơm ngon. Ngoài ra, dịch vụ tại Firkin Bar cũng rất tốt. Nhân viên rất thân thiện và tận tâm, luôn sẵn sàng tư vấn cho mình về các loại đồ uống phù hợp với khẩu vị của mình.Chắc chắn sẽ quay lại đây một lần nữa khi có cơ hội.

I'll start by saying this is a great bar. I love the atmosphere. I love the team. I love the bottle selection. I love the menu. The atmosphere has this rustic feel that kinda reminds me of Ginza cocktail bars. But. Bigger. Comfy chairs. Wooden bar counter. Classical or jazz music playing in the background. Most of the team are only a few months in their tenure. They're a curious lot who does excellent service. My Vietnamese is bad so sadly I cant remember their names. Their menu is pretty friendly toward newbies. Each bartender has their own version of classic drinks. You can also build your own classic drink. But of course you can just request for you own drinks even if they dont know the drink. I look forward to going here again.

Beautiful bar with dedicated bartenders. True to the speakeasy culture, this bar was fun to find - behind a narrow wooden door and up some stairs. Photos don’t do the place any justice, take a short trip down! Cho and My served me and gave me perfect recommendations for my post-dinner drink. Cho went the extra mile to make my visit special by giving me a rundown on potential new Islay whiskeys from their shelves that I could try. The personal service made the drink experience enjoyable, and the prices were reasonable. Would definitely visit again when I am back in Saigon.

This bar has a cozy hidden vibe that I really like. Also, unlike other whiskey bars, they have a selection of mocktails and non-alcoholic drinks that are quite nice and carefully attended to. The staff is pretty friendly and attentive. Would recommend it for casual hang out or dating. Me and my friend checked it out on a random rainy Monday night and it was more crowded than we thought! One of the first hidden bars in Saigon but they surely have lived up to the name and maintained the quality pretty well over time.

Mình khá là thất vọng với cách phục vụ của quán. Đến lúc mình nhận 2 ly cocktails thì mình đã hỏi các bạn bartender là ly của mình gồm những thành phần gì thì các bạn trả lời là 1 ly cay và 1 ly không cay do bạn order. Tại vì mình gọi 2 ly không trong menu nên mình expect là nhận được tư vấn về phía các bạn. Và cocktails củng không hợp khẩu vị của cho lắm. À cuối cùng mình nghĩ là các bạn trong quán chưa nắm rõ menu nào sẽ nằm trong happy hour nên lúc tư vấn các bạn không giải thích rõ ràng cho tụi mình lắm.

This is Dram and Racha Room's sister bar. Similar concept and same branding across. Nice chill lounge with solid drinks and cigars. Location is okay. There was super loud construction going on at 11pm. And the place gets a little loud at times. Still a fine spot to meet with a friend, date night or networking with industry friends.

Ngoài những thực đơn classic, quán còn có những món cocktail sáng tạo từ những chất riêng của bartender, sử dụng những nguyên liệu địa phương, mang hương vị đặc biệt được trình bày một cách tỉ mỉ.

Delicious cocktails and a great happy hour. It's a little hard to find, just a very narrow door with not much signage to let you know you're in the right place. The staff is very friendly and everyone speaks English. It's a bit of a classy place, so you might want to skip this stop if you're just trying to find a drink after your day of touristing in your flip flops and cargo shorts, but it's your call, it's not a pretentious place, they won't turn you away.

This is a cocktail bar with a classic decoration style, If you’re ready for a little fun, let's come here for well-priced cocktails and delicious flavors . Surrounding you are friendly and professional bartenders, and staff. BUT there are not many dishes on the menu, mainly light snacks. (Crispy fried pork skin is really not nice at all). Basically, this is the place to come to enjoy Cocktails, if you are looking for delicious dishes, there is NO.

I was into the vibe, however, I was not finished my night yet. And the waitress, named Tuyet Anh came to my table and asked me to leave the seat for another cigar smokers. Surprisingly, there was no cigar smokers as she mentioned, I came straight to confirm with her, this is a lie to my face. She was asking us to leave ours seat :) is this the way you treated your familiar customers? I’m out! Not gonna come back! A strong no recommended for anyone.

A hidden gem. Was looking for a place to take my whiskey-loving husband for a happy hour tipple. Came across this online, had good reviews so thought we'd give it a shot. Will definitely be returning. Very hidden, cool, relaxed. Great music. Most of the seating is at the bar, which I liked. You get to watch the bartenders (who were all very knowledgeable and friendly) at work. We both had whiskey sours, albeit with different garnishes. Top marks.

Hidden bar behind a non descript door, with a f spotlight leads you up to an uber cool cocktail bar staffed by experienced mixologists. Great choice of cocktails, with staff variations. Loved old posters on the wall. The staff were very friendly. The french ham and cheese toastie was yum.

Great bar! Bartenders are fantastic. The menu is extensive, but we also ordered a couple of classic cocktails (penicillin and blood & sand) not on the menu and they executed perfectly. Notably, there was no one smoking in the main bar area. I’m not sure if that is how it is set up but it was very nice. We arrived early in the evening and easily found a seat, by the time we left at 10:30 the place was very full.

Didn’t even look at the menu and asked for something to go with a cigar I chose for the night (separate room for smoking). Incredibly accurate pairing and a cocktail that was a new enjoyable experience for me. This is a top notch bar everyone must visit.

Quán xinh, view vintage, giá ổn, cocktail ngon. Điểm trừ là quầy bar sắp xếp hơi mess, mình cũng không thấy service tốt lắm (hem thấy có staff đẩy ghế giúp mình, ra bill hơi lâu). Mọi người cứ đến số 20 sẽ thấy cửa nhỏ để đi vào. Chắc hôm mình đến là thứ 7 và cũng trễ nên quán đông và hơi ồn. Có nhiều món lắm mà mình gọi nhẹ nhàng thôi vì cũng mới đi làm về. VAT 10%, service 5% như các quán khác.

If you're in Saigon for a short visit, before you go to a restaurant head to firkin. It's not often you have the best drinks on the planet in one small bar, but it exists here. Treat yourself to what you want, with a few bar snacks. I had a scotch egg and pickles.. It's hidden away so you don't get the usual expat soccer shirt crowd... Just look for the 'f' on the door

The best bar in Saigon and could easily be a top place in major places like Manhattan. The concept is really nice, their menu features 6 classic drinks and different variations of how to make them from all their bartenders. Their other cocktails are also delicious. All other bars we tried make their cocktails too sweet! We basically came here like 4 times in 2 days.

Discreet entrance.. just a small wooden door that leads up to a very nice and cosy bar. They have a very special whiskey cocktail menu where each bartender has their own take on the classics, so plenty of return value if you like the place to try each one out, or come with friends! Friends were raving about the bacon, so do try, its nice and crisp, yet not dry. :D

Lovely and cozy speakeasy located in the center of Ho Chi Minh city. Broad menu of classic and original cocktails, great atmosphere, amazing bartenders, comfortable bar chairs from which you can see how yours (or any others) cocktails are made. If you're in Saigon - pay a visit to this place, sip your cocktails and enjoy the evening.

Amazing find! Just a little non-descript wooden door leading up the stairs to such a cool Whisky bar! Choose your Whisky, choose your flavour, choose bitters... Boom...amazing Whisky Sour! Of course you can opt to have a straight Whisky or on the rocks or any which way you prefer. So many great options! We definitely will be back!!!

If you're on a learning journey on whisky, then you gotta Firkin come to Firkin's! Place is a gem! Seats are limited and if you're planning to visit like on weekends or peak days then make a reservation as seats are limited. But was a enjoyable experience for a whisky N00b like yours truly... Will be back Firkin!!

Good drink, private and nice date spot. A bit pricey but drinks is worth it. If you don’t like sweet cocktails, ask to reduce it. Best whiskey bar in hcmc so far!

Even it is located on Mac Thi Buoi street - center of District 1 but it can be considered as a hidden bar. These folks do cocktails on a superb quality level! You wouldn't find any cheap and sweet pina coladas or similar, but instead they serve high class whisky sour, old fashioned, manhatten, etc. The interior is also very atmospheric and tasteful

A speakeasy gentlemen's bar. Prices are steep as compared to many places in Saigon, however, the cocktails recommended by the bartenders are worth the price. When you enter, it feels like you're brought back to the 1920s with brown hues and leather couches. Would definitely go back again!

Small but great place for cocktail, wide variety of choices and combination, I like the way they let you pick your favorite Whiskey, Flavor, Bitter to make your own Whiskey Sour, been there several times and they never fail to make me a perfect drink, good to go alone or with friends.

My fav hidden gem in Saigon. I can tell Firkin' is one of the top high-end bar in Saigon, of course with cozy vibe, perfect for a crowded fear like me hahaaa. Wine is variety, cocktails are superb, can compared to other Western. They have the best bartender crew in town btw.

Overhyped. Soul-less and overpriced cocktails. At least 270K VND per drink if you are not coming here during happy hour. The bartender did not bother to check-in if everything is ok. The bar has classy decor but was playing very loud hip hop music. Will not recommend.

The hotel is under rated. Should be at least be a 5 star. The design of the large room with separate standing and long bath is found in 5 Star hotel. Even the public toilet has cotton towel to dry your hands. The hotel has a panoramic view of the city and Mekong.

해피아워에 정말 저렴하고 고급진 칵테일 맛볼 수 있어요. 너무 많이 마셔서 다음날 숙취가 문제지만 가서 마신날만큼은 여기 만한 곳이 없다는 생각. 다른 해피아워가봤는데 가는길에 바선생을 너무 많이 봤고 다른 호텔에 딸린 레스토랑 갔는데 거긴 분위기나 서비스는 물론 좋지만 가격이 비싸고.. 가격과 전체적인 분위기 생각하면 firkin bar만한 곳이 없음 3번 갔고 앞으로도 더 갈듯

One of my favorite whiskey bars in the city. Many varieties of whiskeys to try. Their classic cocktails are excellent as well as their signature versions of them. Do keep in mind that the price is higher here.

A must try place in SG. Cocktails are fancy and unique. The staff are enthusiastic and attentive. They introduce and suggest unique flavors. 100/10.

Great drinks. However, space can be limited simply because the bar is small and food on offerings were simple quick bites. The highlight of the bar are their drinks offering, from cocktails to whiskies.
