Appreciated this bank giving me a second chance on a new checking account after having some issues with my lasts account with Fifth and Third bank. I also loved the fact you could continue banking with them thru their DRIVE THRU WINDOW (PANDEMIC) even if you have no car. Everyone is always friendly and there are never any long lines or long waits. Plus, it is one of the few banks that offer a HSA SAVINGS ACCOUNT for all YOUR HEALTHCARE needs. The only problems I am having is with HACKING OF MY APP or PERSONAL ACCOUNT and the bank doesn’t offer automated banking via one phone call. It would be nice if a customer could receive all account information without speaking with a live teller every time, it is so time consuming and kind of annoying!! If you are a customer that needs a checking accounting after having problems with a prior CHECKING account with ANOTHER BANK then FIRST AMERICAN is the bank for you. You want HELP saving FOR YOUR HEALTHCARE needs and your employer has no benefits plans for HEALTHCARE SAVINGS them FIRST AMERICAN BANK is the bank for you. YOU want bank that is small but BIG ON HEART then FIRST AMERICAN BANK is for YOU STILL RUNS DEEP!!
Dealing with First American Bank in Chicagos South Loop is a real pleasure. This bank prides itself on knowing each of their customers and their individual banking needs. As a small business owner their overall attention to my banking business is remarkable. Walk into a Bank of America these days and you will see their idea of BOA future banking. There will be 3 associates with iPads redirecting you from banking with a teller to pushing you too a ATM. BOA will become the robots of banking. This proves out with BOA’s terrible tellers where robots would diffidently be a upgrade. Do yourself a favor and stop in a First American Bank. Where the customer is still valued and respected.
I wish I could give it a 0. Worst bank ever . follow up to the person that wants me to call . I can't call because , you should know there is no money in my account , because you let people steal money . I filled out a form and went up there and was told it was too bad . Thus the worst bank ever comment .
Art Mejia was courteous and knowledgeable. He handled my needs efficiently
