I would like to thank all those that had a part of feeding san Diego. I was really happy to see alot of smiles on some faces. It's a bless to see that, I just hope that we could bring some Chang to our community's. Thank you so much Wayne and the Lutherans I have been wantting to had that me and along with so many others that it is blessing to have this church around and all those that help out all the people that are in need, I was really impressed to see many coming together to help lots of families and also those that were needing to feed there happy lol

These guys have been feeding large groups of homeless and underprivileged locals twice a week for over a quarter century now. Some months back they hooked up a new chef who has been turning out some REALLY Good - even gourmet - meals with experienced creativity & plenty of TLC. OPEN TO EVERYONE! A welcoming, friendly, and socially aware congregation. I found First Lutheran while in town on business. I was pleasantly surprised to find a welcoming and affirming congregation. The members are engaging and open to visitors. The pastor is also very approachable and genuinely interested to meet new people. The sermon about Wilderness was thought provoking and exactly what I needed to hear. Well worth a visit for those looking for spiritual enrichment and community.

This church is great — they let the UCSD Free Clinic provide free health care every Monday and Friday! There are also free legal clinics, as well as social workers to help people get set up with available resources. None of it would be possible without a space to do t in, so thank you to this church for making it possible!

Every Monday afternoon they have a dinner for local residents, and a health clinical following. Friday morning breakfast and a health clinical following. Homeless people are allowed to receive mail here.

I have been attending here for thirty years and find the people, the pastor, and the care for others to be second to none. I have to drive some distance to get there but I find that it is worth it.

They were kind to help me store my luggage for more than a week so I could visit other parts of California with just one luggage. They feed the hungry & homeless twice a week. Really kind people.

This place is very special.Very casual as is San Diego and in the hart of the cityscape. They provide many services that are truly helping thousands of people every week.Gods work at its best.

Beautiful service, Pastor Darryl shared a profound sermon. The people of First Lutheran are wonderful. Visiting from out of state, they all welcomed us warmly. Lovely experience.

A great place to get medical advice an or your personal mail. Also Monday at 4 pm is eating time an also Fridays at 9 am for breakfast. Anyone is welcomed

We went there for the free law clinic, was great. They had a medical clinic going on at the same time in side. Plus they had a hot meal for the homeless

Reconciled in Christ church. Pastor Kurt is a gifted orator! Precautions still in place to stem the transmission of Covid. Worship in person or online.

Outstanding place! Staff called an ambulance for me the other day but of course the hospital dumped me because if you're homeless you don't matter.
