Enquired about a house for sale in Cranbourne. Called and spoke to John who advised that due to tenants being difficult and not allowing inspections he would be getting back to me and asked me to message him my details and email address. 2 days later the house is under offer!!??!?. I called John twice since and no answer or reply. I now receive spam emails regarding properties for sale. Now I find out that John is the director. Terrible service, will never use your agency to buy or sell properties. In response to Dean: as explained to John on the phone who has since rang back to try to sell me another property rather than apologise. This had nothing to do with missing out on this property, but all about customer service and simply returning my phone calls and informing me as he said he would. It takes a negative review to receive the call back. In recent years houses have been selling themselves and agents no longer understand people skills or customer service, but with this shift in the market coming alot of agents will have to learn this. The feedback was for you to take on and learn from to prevent it from reoccurring in future.

Not to be trusted!!! We also chose Finnings because they had been in Cranbourne forever, and we had just purchased our new property from them. The purchase went smoothly, but there were many mistakes made during the sale of our property. Then in September 2018, more than 5 years after we sold, the same property was listed for sale again with Finnings. Incredibly using the advertising photos that we paid for and used back in 2013!! When confronted about it on 3/9, Frank (the agent, and yes we agree, “arrogant and rude”), argued that we hadn’t actually paid for them (although we had the paperwork in front of us to prove otherwise), they were included in their fees. Eventually he agreed to have all photos removed from all advertising portals. Then, 10 days later, discovered our front of house photo being used to advertise in a local paper! The few apologies that we have received don’t really make up for what was done. If we could give minus stars on a review, we would. Save yourself the headaches, go elsewhere!!!!

I've had the pleasure of dealing with First National-Finnings in the rental department as a Landlord, for well over 15 years and have really appreciated the work they do behind the scenes. It was time to sell and Finnings Jason Brown was my agent. It was such an easy going comfortable & professional experience. Jason advised the ins and outs of sales and how it worked and also what you can do next etc. he was friendly and created that "its not just business bond". Through the whole process I was kept up to date with the sale enquiries from Jason & other agents within Finning’s and also where the house sat within the market. The sale was a great result and and in minimal timing. Jason & the Finnings team even went above to assist the tenant and then beyond to cater for the purchasers and my request to bump the sale forward. They don’t communicate. They make threats at the drop of a hat, without cause. They accused us of denying MES access to the property a week after they had indeed attended. And they will not enter into a conversation about whatever charges that they want to make, even after it has far exceeded their own estimates. The security gate broke and we never even heard from them regarding it, so couldn’t even access our leased property because of their negligent communication. Not willing to know these people or do business with them because they are just lazy and completely unorganised.

I’ve recently sold my house through Finning and I have been very happy with the whole process. In such a tough market place the stress can be real, but I was always kept informed of the buyers feedback and never felt I needed to worry. The whole finning team were able to work together to get a positive outcome on the sale of my property in such a volatile market. I really do appreciate all the assistance along the way! Thank you! I had to move interstate at short notice, and during the covid period; when walk-throughs and photographers associated with house-selling, were not permitted. I was able to get house keys to Finnings. Jason provided a speedy sales estimate, and secured an offer within 3 days of my property being listed. Worst property managers. Was sent an invoice for repairs that I was not made aware of nor authorised. They are all about making their job easy for themselves rather than looking after landlords best interests
