In April 2016, we received several mails from Real Estate Agents advising us, whether we are interested in selling the house. One of the Real Estate Agent advised us that he had sold a property nearby and had few buyers that missed out at the auction and are interested in buying in this area. He seems genuine and told us he will bring a few buyers to see the property with no cost involved. Eventually we signed with the Agent to sell our property and he advised us that auction is the best way even we were reluctant as we had previously sold our properties privately and were satisfied with the outcome. Anyhow, we thought they were the expert and went along with the house getting auction. We had a meeting weekly with the Agent to give us a feedback of potential buyers. To our surprise most of the buyers that came through, were offering much less to what we were told by the Agent when we signed the contract. On the night before the auction, the auctioneer came along with the Agent to give us a briefing on the auction. He advised us to put a low reserve price so there will be more interest. When they left, we decided to have a look on the internet in relation to the reserve price and we were flabbergasted to find out that we had to sell the house if it reached that price which we were not aware at all. We decided to stick to the original price and the house was not sold at auction. We find Jessica to be very professional, friendly and genuine. I’m only giving 1 star for my negative experience and service I received this week. When I asked for help, I was advised to contact consumer affairs if I’m not happy with the rent price being raised twice within 12 months. I only asked if possible to speak with the landlord instead referred to contact consumer affair. When I asked if I could get some help to find properties, as our contract won’t end until April, and the solution was to put First national on the application which translates in my understanding “ we can’t help, but we can give you a review when you find a property and an agent”. I honestly felt like I’ve been pushed to the bottom of the list because my concern doesn’t matter at all. There was no referrals or somewhat recommendations or solutions at all, but to “contact consumer affairs” and “put us on the application”. Super disappointed with this outcome and service I received. Looking at the reviews, it seems like you provide better service and care to the buyers instead of the tenants who are renting. I hope you don’t give me bad review if we find another property and agency if this is the only solution

Don't support the tenants when it's necessary eg: We had very old torn and dusty window curtains and after saying/emailing multiple times they came back with saying the owner wont fix it. I had to find another way to convey my message to the owner and shortly after the curtains were replaced. At the end of tenancy they are trying to put things on my that we haven't done during our tenancy period. Even after sending the entry/before pictures they still keep saying we did it.
