I went to an interview with Fitness Republic Merrylands on the basis that the starting pay would be $27 as advised by the employer over the phone. To my shock, they actually are offering a measly $15 an hour for the first month which is considered a “trial” period and $20 thereafter. I am over 30 with an extensive background in the same field. When I asked the interviews why I was told it was $27 an hour on the phone, the proceeded to tell me that they would pay that depending on my experience. Please be mindful as they tell you one thing on the phone and then proceed to waste your time. If I could rate less than 1 star I would. Kind regards

Holy moly, this is by far the best gym I have ever been to! No exaggeration! The good environment and awesome vibe from the staff members really bring the place alive. They provide extraordinary customer service and state of the art advanced equipment. But wait...THERES MORE! The layout and is simple and easy to get around and the place is very clean and hygienic. Good location near the train station and Strickland shopping centre. A lots of parking available near by.

I joined Fitness Republic Merrylands last year and it’s been a great journey. They offered many classes throughout the week which is inclusive in the membership. Amazing right!The functional and abs classes are pretty intensive and worthwhile. The instructors are really nice and supportive too. They have many cool features like great equipments, a separate room for women and yoga classes too‍♀️. The only drawback was they only had 2 branch.

I've been at this gym for over a year now, at the start they were strict on making sure you re-rack weights,use a gym towel,no tailgating, wipe your machine down but now it's like who cares about all that stuff. During peak hour (5pm - 8pm) good luck trying to get on a machine or a power rack, gym equipment jammed next to each other and its just sometimes a total mess,while some people do the right thing others just blatantly ignore all the rules

Pros: -Relatively clean and tidy -Heavy dumbbells and wide selection of machines -Convenient location -Pretty cheap compared to neighbouring gyms Cons: -Tiny free weight area -Machines are crammed together, you can hardly move in between or load/unload. That's especially annoying when it's crowded. Gym area could be utilised better. -Hardly anybody uses a towel, and the staff don't seem to mind it as they walk around and not say anything

After being to most of the local gyms that offer functional classes I found this place to be the best fit for me at a great price. Best coaches and atmosphere! If there was an option for 6 stars they would get it...Love it! Anyone that's looking for a great, clean and friendly gym that offers classes catered to anyone at any level of fitness, get in touch with Roobz you wont regret it! Did I mention it was open 24 hrs!

Great gym functional classes available or a cheaper base rate. Go the functional classes for a well rounded weekly training schedule with great coaches! There is a protein bar on site as well as clean and new equipment and facilities. Come down and join the fam today! …

Thanks to Fitness Republic. I feel more strong with my body. My trainer Thomas is a brillant coach. He always amend exercises as per my needs. I have not found such a good coaching since a long time. Thank you once again all the team members of Fitness Republic for your support.

The best 24 hours gym in merrylands with the lowest price! They have every equipments for my needs and also has all the facilities from child minding, studio and a functional room for all different types of training! Really enjoy it here! Highly recommended!

Nice, healthy & friendly weather. No tailgating, No attitude, No bad behavior. After evening the gym become busy & noisy Very hard to concentrate but after 9 pm everything is calm. morning time is the best time to work out. For students it's very affordable.

Lots of equipment. Crazy chicks.. Some muncho type gyms trying covertly to intimate other patrons not their age or what ever. Some times too crowded. Classes have a great coach.

Small but not bad at all. Had some good machines which got me through a leg session. For sure will go again at some point. Might even become my gym full-time in the future.
