My family has been coming here for years for special occasions. It was my 60th Birthday and because it is a casino that also does a little racing they will not allow kids in to the restaurant. hat used to be the lobby and food court is now jammed with more slot machines. I was expecting to see them in the bathroom as well. This used to be a respectable Race Track. The races could only be heard outside or the upper deck so we missed the first race. Then we had to go outside and all the way around the building to see the races. No parking lot lights so it was dangerous walking around back. Had to comeback inside to use bathrooms. Only 2 automatic booths to place bets and long line-ups. Tote board was not working so we could not see the odds or payout. Had a small TV mounted on the wall outside. Staff seemed confused as to where we could go. They said new management is changing things daily. They are understaffed. Every race had 5 or 6 horses and one scratched from each race. On a positive side our server was wonderful. (Sadly i forget her name) She found us a spot for the 21 people who came. The food was very good. However most of my guest left early because of the conditions and restrictions. Do not think i will be back when Mohawk is far superior.

Thought we would go to the races & dinner for Date Night. Google shows steak & lobster. What you get is a cafeteria & no other choice. No buffet. No great foods. Had fish & chips, we are sure it was Captain Highliner. For bars they have 2 side by side & the one with a better selection closes early (at 8pm). When asked about the food. All the employees stated everything was over priced OR they had no idea what the deserts even were. They shrug when asked. If we go again. We’d have dinner elsewhere first. As you walk in. You notice all fancy lights are off and only construction light strings are on. If you wanna step outside to see the horses. Your told to go out front and walk around the building. Most sections are closed. Even the driveway is a bumpy pothole nightmare. Either open things up & make them inviting or shut it down. Right now. It’s a joke. Maybe they have no money. Maybe they need a new manager ? Luckily the horse racing was decent. Otherwise the whole night would of been a flop. Date night was rather embarrassing. If you ever make it more inviting for race fans. Let us know. Your obviously focused on basic gambling. Nothing else!

Took us 15 minutes to get from parking lot to trackside. This involved traveling throughout the filthy casino attempting to enter the racetrack only to find out that there is no access from the casino to the racetrack. Security people are kind enough to describe how to walk outside the building and follow along the side until you see the garbage bins. The entrance to the racetrack is just a walk through archway right beside the garbage bins. When you see the garbage bins, you'll know you are on the right track to get to the track. Very sad to see this once magnificent facility run down to a point where one would have to say it has been decimated with the lack of care, attention and resources that elements casino has chosen not to invest in. There will be no racing here in 3 years.

My wife and I moved back to the area after being away for 10 years. We used to really enjoy going to Flamboro for the races. It became obvious very quickly that the owners of the track don't care about horse racing or the racing fans. It's clear that they don't want kids since they are relegated to the tarmac and not allowed allowed inside. We are members of an ownership group and we won't be back to Flamboro. There are plenty of other tracks who treat patrons with respect. To be clear, the employees were all very helpful. It's the owners of the track we have a problem with and judging by some of the other reviews we are not alone.

Sad to see what used to be the best B horsetrack in Canada basically a giant slot parlour with slot machines jammed in every corner of the racetrack. Racebook hidden behind a second floor escalator, and difficult to notice it is an actual horse racing venue anymore. Restaurant closed, obvious that racing has become irrelevant to the money machines. Even the slot zombies look more sad than usual. possibly because of the tire alignment you need after dodging the sink holes in the parking lot. Sounding like an old man, but so sad to see the deterioration of an exciting industry and a building.

Love it for the races - an avid horseracing fan. It's disappointing though to see that they have given so much priority to the casino - live view area for races does not have direct access to the indoor viewing area...you need to walk all the way around to the casino entrance, go through the casino to get to the indoor viewing area for races. Horseraces should be given equal priority - many would like to bring their young kids to see the races outdoor and indoor (but cannot do so since you have to go through the casino floor).

Like any casino they are always changing the games which is good. I've always thought of this place as a little "dated" because they didn't have a lot of the newer, flashier games, but that seems to be changing. They have a lot more of the commercialized, themed games that I enjoy. That's a personal preference though. This is one of the few OLGs that has self serve drinks which is always nice too, it's hard to find a server in some of the other places so it's nice to be able to grab your own.

Went for the evening for races and slots.We had the buffet way over priced for what you got compared, to the Fallsview and other casinos.They were Very Under Staffed ,it got to the point we were taking our own plates to the one and only server.I do not know where the management is?The food was So-So would not recommend the buffet to friends and family. I think every casino needs to take a good look at their washrooms as both the ladies and the men"s were awful! Will not return for the buffet.

Close to Hamilton and surrounding area. Buffet has been a nice renovation and casino is always clean. Was stoked when they added the tables on the top floor and have recently expanded on them. Only flaw is that they don’t have a poker room which would bring more people, also the loop when driving in can be a bit of a headache to drive due to the crosswalks and it not being well lit. Other than that I don’t mind making the 15 minute trip as it’s scenic.

My first time here with a few friends. We played 100 dollars at black jack and lost it all with 3 seconds lol. Place is small and old looking. I found it very amusing watching ppl In a zombie mode throwing there money away. We had more fun just walking around talking. Drinks are expensive 11 bucks for beer lol. Anyway it wasn’t a bad day. Iv been to better casinos tho. Lol. Very average and lack lustre. Probably there for 2 hrs before we left.

Been there multiple times. Lost 250 on each visit. Always thought give another chance. Not very successful. Lost most times in half hour visits if not sooner. Other casinos seem to give a little before taking it from you. Not this place they fleece you in minutes. Not disgruntled about losses but didn’t even get a chance. Maybe go back some day for the ponies But casino won’t get another cent. Myself I feel I’ve just got mugged in there.

Good cassino, the food is very good and not a bad price either when you use your Cassino Card.I don't do to bad here on the slot machines, couple of times I hit big.The floor might not be as big as other Cassinos but the variety is good ,really good.In the summer they have Harness Horse Racing so there's a little something for everyone. It's a bit of a ride but try your luck some day.....

They need to bring a proper sit-down restaurant back. Also need better signage and instructions on some machines. Also lost $40 on a faulty machine. They basically accused me of lying even with 2 witnesses as to what happened. The lights on the dash of the machine were not working, so you can't tell how many lines you are betting on. I wasn't the only one who lost money because of this.

Great spot if you are looking to spend a bit. The casino games are the usual but okay for a few minutes. The restaurant is okay. I think the are offering special on thrsdays and Fridays. We have done a dinner with the horse races. Not bad. You can bet in the ponies. Bet on the machines. I like dropping in bet a few bucks ....not a big gambler... Have a bite.

They changed the age limit to come and VIEW the horse races! You have to be 19 to be ENTER the building… even when you only need to be 18 to wager on horse. There was nothing posted about it before and made groups with kids stand out in the cold. Seems as the Casino is the only priority now-a days as the race area looks pretty beat up. Very disappointed…

Great races, attentive staff, fun different night out. Had an amazing time for my grandmother's 70th birthday. They were incredibly accommodating of our group of 16. Food was great for a buffet. The waitstaff were attentive the horse races were so much fun to bet on. Our entire group had an amazing time thanks for making our night great!

Very lucky day. Machines were paying out. Clean establishment, friendly staff. Restaurant menu, excellent choices to tantalize your taste buds. Daily draws each month and special draws for great prizes. Loads of Parking for recreational vehicles, handicapped people. Also horse racing and sports tv's. Enjoy your day.

Went for a second time because we heard they now have tables. Now I will say looks very professional and clean but maybe a little to cramped for my liking. And table minimums where a tad high. I still don't get why you can't set a fair table minimum and let the player choose how much higher they would like to go.

Typical casino....really disappointed when you use there ATM you can get 100.00$ plus. No denominations of 20.00s We all can't withdraw one hundred at a time!!. Or shall I say lose 100 at a time. However wheel chair excess able, live horse racing. Pretty good food . All in all a good night out for donations!!

Took my son who just turned 19 in January. We had a blast! The staff member who assisted us on how to work the machines was fantastic! Because of him we had a great time together! He will be leaving for college and thanks to your kindness built a wonderful memory to look back on! Thanks …

I ordered thier special salad with chicken and shrimp to go. Came home. Opened the salad to find no chicken or shrimp. Also no dressing. In the casino where people drop hundreds of dollars, you would expect ice for your drinks. Ice machine was broken. It was not a good night. Staff are always great.

Fun night out. We played slots machines for hours, had a great time and broke even. Drinks were cheap and very good quality. Beer was ICE cold! Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of parking of course, with a drop off area at the entrance. Apparently getting card tables very soon.

Not very pleasant. With all the money they rake in from the gamblers I expected more. Half the women's toilets were un flushed. The drink machines were only half functioning. No tea and the ice dispenser was broken. So I only had the choice of warm pop or coffee which I hate.

A great disappointment Saturday evening. Six adults travelled 45 minutes to enjoy the races. Late post times, outdoor access only and NO track announcer but most annoying NO Tote Board. Shame on this facility. Will not return to Dine, or spend money on the Races or Casino.

This is one of my favourite casinos by far. The staff are so friendly and ready to give u a hand with what u might need and the food…. Oh my! The food is out of this world its so amazing. You have to go here to win some money and get some good eats while ur at it

Now that it has changed I have been twice and will never go back. Payouts are bad. Crowded over limit. I was a regular but so different now. Seems like new owners are just there to get the money and make it a depressing experience for customers.

You can sit at a slot machine for ever and never get a waitress. Very short staffed. Payouts have been lowered so you can put hundreds, I watched someone put a thousand and nothing not even a free spin. Everyone has been complaing but good luck

Terrible place showed my IDs and ask for a second one while my horse was in the race and I wanted to see him I even told security and said to me I could watch outside in the freezing cold I couldn’t even go to the bathroom what a bad place

I don't go to Casinos much and I was in the area and thought I would see what it was like. It was pretty good. A good way to kill time and break even. The staff were helpful. They had a lot of different slots to play, with a lot of space.

Great little decent size casino. Been going there for many years now. Food at the restaurant is delicious. Staff and especially the teller- Super friendly and cheerful. Great sense of humor and personality:) my father and I love it!

Went to the casino to try to have fun. :( Gambling is trying your luck, but when I play 14 machines and lose $100 each machine for the 3rd day without ever being up $1, then that is called cheating. Terrible business Flamboro.

It's Ok, getting a little run down,needs a serious update to the interior ,and a definite exterior repair to the entrance and pavement roadway. Where does all that casino profit go to, definitely not on building maintenance?

Terrible, no food, no drinks, no bar. Slots win rate is next to 0, and the place just looks like a complete dive. Go to Niagara, this place will sap your money and energy. Such a depressing feeling going in this casino.

While I enjoy the casino, I saw an older security guard at the door racially profile a middle Eastern man. He questioned him but no one else, then sprayed the area as the man walked away. It was obvious and disgusting.

My wife had her Birthday and we went here to spend a few hours at the casino. Very crowded and the majority of the patrons were seniors who really don't have any manners. Probably be a long time before we return.

Amazing place to have fun and enjoy a good meal the staff is always helpful and it's very clean. You may not always win but you always come out with a winning. Remember to always wear a mask and be responsible.

A good little casino. Closest to me. Best personnel very attentive. Restaurant now open. No masks required and nothing to show anyone. Just great place. Good parking too. No driving miles away to park.

It's looking awesome. No need to go to a cashier to exchange your tickets. They have machines now. It feels more modern and machines have been updated. Machine denominations are grouped better now.

Went waaaaay downhill. Went with my family to watch live horse racing. Totally changed for the worst. Hated the change. Nowhere for a family to eat sit relax or even go to the bathroom NOT GOOD!

This is a great Casino. The layout is great, but it's not as big as Casino Rama ( which is sometimes a good thing ). Staff are really friendly, and bathrooms are spotless. Recommended!

A super fun place to go with your friends! Lots of machines to use and it is very clean. Anyone under 21 I was asked for two pieces of ID so just be aware of that before you go!

Only spent time in the casino. Comfortable size casino with 2 floors. Clean. Tables and a good selection of slots. Had to wait 25min inline but had a good time non the less

Had fun playing the slots, the bartender was tons of fun, but we were disappointed that the bat closed at 11. Will definitely return the next time I am in the area.

Pleasent & helpfull staff but no racing during visit. Lots of slot machines for the gamblers. Good value bit limited selection buffet but it was "all you can eat"

It has turned to the worst and very dirty and the parking lot and driveway entrance has big pot holes everywhere. And the machines are in total lock down aswell.

My favorite casino. Service in restaurant was very slow & food was burnt but server did offer to replace! Took too long to get the original order so I said no.

Haven't seen a race yet, but played the slots and had some pretty good food at the onsite restaurant. Prime rib is great, lobster too. Taters not so much...

A great place to just escape from the house. Most of the staff are super nice and very helpful. It can be a winning experience but always play responsibly.

Buffet was expensive especially since they no longer have steak and lobster tails. Horse racing was fun. Don't play slots so have no opinion on gaming

Slots are good to me. Love Sunday buffet with races to watch. Slot attendants are the best. General Manager Mike Betts is great and always accessible.

It's as good as gambling casinos yet but this one has hundreds and hundreds of flies. They will drive you crazy while you're trying to gamble.

Love this spot. Games were paying and i walked out very up! I noticed there werent as many drink carts floating around as there used to be.

You need more staff. Had to wait forever to get my machine refilled with vouchers, hence I could not leave my machine till that was done.

Went to the casino and as I am not a great gambler I lost a little. At least I know when to Stop and it does pass some time..

I had some questions on betting on the horses, the lady at the counter was so nice and extremely helpful! Great experience.

I found lunch expensive and my client refused hers after 6 bites. For $23 think it be good. I won't be returning there

My first time being there but it was a fun experience. Lots of fun machines to play on and the race track was great .

Visiting. Had lunch. Nice staff. Hamburger was juicy and tasted great. As did the fries. Really great atmosphere.

Poor service on floor. Not enough attendants. Profits over service. Was much, much better with past management.
