Just reviewing the park and play area not including the baseball field or basketball hoops. The park is of decent size and when we went, there were not a lot of people. (We came on a Tuesday evening at around ~6 PM.) In that respect, it was good. There were probably ~3 other families who had a kid or two. There is plenty of equipment for the kiddos to play on, but the only reason why I deducted a star is because the equipment is rather old and outdated. I think it definitely needs a facelift. The slide is still the old school metal sheet that I remember when growing up. It is not fenced it, but the park is in an area where there are not a lot of cars coming and going.

Went on a Saturday and it was super packed. There was a toddler soccer class going on in the field and someone from the neighborhood was having a birthday party. Both tennis courts were occupied and we were the first in line for the basketball court, which is a half size court that has four hoops on it. That being said, the park was really cute (small) and a great place if you have a very young kids as the play structure would not keep an older kid occupied. They also had a low-lying tree that lots of kids were climbing. Despite the crowd, we had a great time and Will definitely go back.

This is a small, neighborhood park located near Rice University and the museum district. The park has a good number of trees and is well maintained for the most part. There are two tennis courts that are at the park, although one of them has some fairly significant cracks in it. For that reason, I'm scoring this park at three stars. Otherwise, it has benches and enough amenities to make it worth a small visit for picnic or for the kids to run around.

One of the most lovely parks in Houston. On quiet days you can sit in the shade beneath the majestic Southern live oaks and feel the breeze. On busy days you'll hear children laughing and playing. There is a small book lending library and artists lending library as well as playgrounds, picnic tables, open spaces, a basketball court, tennis courts and pull up bars for exercising. Awesome spot for reading and relaxing outdoors

Cleanest park I have seen in a long time. Plenty of room for a ton of kids. Lots of size friendly play places. My one year old had lots of fun with multiple options for her to run and play on. Will return for sure! Some toys were a little to low as if the bark had been added to high but that was actually great because she is so little.

Basketball court is in good condition. Occasionally there will be leaves and twigs that need clearing, but there is always room to play. Afternoon until dusk there are people of all ages playing tennis, softball, doing pull-ups or enjoying the sun. Relaxing nature and peaceful noise.

A nice safe quiet spot to have your little ones running around and you can have a good view of them from far away even or they have a tennis court and open areas that you can set up badmiton if you want although my children are now grown I did enjoy bringing them here with my father

We love this park. It’s got tiny rocks instead of mulch. From what I’ve seen kids love these tiny rocks. Great shade, benches, basketball court etc. The playground is old but sturdy and well made. Safe neighborhood to bring your kids. Parking is tight, expect to parallel park.

Fleming is a great park. It has lots of lovely, old trees that provide great shade; 2 sturdy wooden play structures that are kept in good condition; a basketball court and tennis courts; and an open field for baseball, soccer, or running. My 4 and 1 year olds love it here!

  • Ayse Rumeysa Ergin

It is a good park. I only used the playground. However, if your kid is a smaller kid like 2 years old, some steps are too high to get on, and the slide is too steep. Also, beware of the mosquitoes. The trees are gorgeous, but the mosquitos and ants are biting horribly.

I discovered this park after finding nearby Hermann park completely packed. This park was a nice contrast: it was quiet with a few families there. There is space to run, picnic tables, a basketball court, and a playground. My family had a great time here.

  • Mark Broadbent

Playground equipment is a little dated so keep the little kids off the slide. The shade keeps it cool and there are lots of options for equipment to play on and even a pull up bar for the casual exerciser. Lots of green space for frisbee or football.

  • Alisa Nelson

This is such a cute neighborhood park! There is a little playground and some tennis courts and picnic tables. There is street parking and although the park is not very big, the surrounding neighborhood is very beautiful and great for walking!

  • Andrea Dea

Great spot for tennis or pickle ball. There are two courts so it can get packed, however it is free. Be mindful that there are no floodlights so after dark you can’t really play. There is also a playground and picnic benches. Good spot.

Fleming Park is a nice cozy park nestled into a nice neighborhood. I just came here to eat my lunch in a quiet location between lyft and uber trips. Wasn't disappointed and I'll definitely eat here whenever I'm around during lunch time

  • Samuel Thomas

Good park with a place for your kids to play and walk your dog, they even have tennis courts! I actually just put up my hammock there for a few hours to get a snooze while waiting for my documents to get processed at a local office.

  • Madelayne Brown

Perfect clean park with all the hottest attractions..trails, grassy area, tennis court, and 2 playground climbing structures, picnic tables, shade trees, trash cans, and no restrooms ..oh, and watch for ants! …

  • Dean Cox

Quiet, lots of shade from beautiful trees, benches with tables, 2 hour free parking on the street. It's a great park for little kids and has a tennis court, tucked away in between two rows of homes

It is a good park, have tennis area, basket area, play ground, but don't have restroom. That is the worst thing, a park big than this need a restroom.

This is a beautiful and quiet, well-maintained park. My children love it, and the gorgeous oak trees make the heat bearable even in a Texas summer.
