My partner, Thomas D, has been a patient at Fleur-De-Lis Primary Care Clinic since we moved to New Orleans in January 2022. He started seeing Dr. Washington in May. Thomas has been struggling with back problems since a car accident almost 4 years ago, and was worried about finding a provider who could help him - he has seen healthcare providers since then, and is actively engaged in daily yoga practice, a gym membership, and other physical activities to assist in his pain management. He and I were very pleased when Dr. Washington not only prescribed a medication regimen that actually WORKED (he was able to feel almost normal again in regards to physical activity), but also agreed to see him despite his lack of health insurance. Unfortunately this success was to be short-lived. Thomas required refills of his medications the week of 4 July 2022 and contacted the office in the beginning of the week. He let the office know, and did already have his follow-up appointment scheduled. The office not only neglected to to return his call, but later in the week Thomas was told by the office staff that the refills would be taken care of by Dr. Washington Friday afternoon. This was never done. I advised Thomas to call and see if they have an on-call provider who could assist, but oddly enough, this office does not appear to have an on-call service of any kind. He followed up on Tuesday, after the 4 July holiday, and was told that he would not receive any more pain medication, that he was to go to pain management for further assistance. This is the first time Thomas was aware of this, he had had a discussion with Dr. Washington about seeing a pain specialist but had been told by Dr. Washington that she would be able to prescribe 60 tablets of the pain medication (Tramadol) a month in the office. The regimen Dr. Washington had prescribed (which included other meds as well) actually worked, and now she ended everything for him and he has to start all over. The upsetting thing about this situation is that it is a success story and then a horrible cut-off story. Pain management is one of the most complicated fields in medicine, and when something finally does work, a provider should continue to work with the patient to find even better solutions - no one wants to take medication their whole life. You don't just cut a patient off, or give them false ideas of how you can help them. I am so ultimately disappointed in the care provided by this office. And more than that, I am so saddened that my partner is going to lose the better quality of life he had obtained, and now lost, due to the uncaring practices of this office. I may have left a review here already but I will gladly do it again. Dr. Washington is the best primary care doctor I've ever had! I honestly don't ever want anyone else taking care of me. She's kind, energetic, and very knowledgeable. She always considers possibilities for diagnoses that I feel most doctors wouldn't think of right away. And her upbeat personality combined with her kind staff and clean offices really make you feel right at home. I really don't feel like I'm visiting the doctor because I'm so comfortable everytime I walk in the door, and that's a big deal for me considering I've had years of negative experiences with doctors in the past. I always have a good laugh and leave in a positive mood everytime I chat with her. You can tell she really enjoys her profession and is passionate about caring for her patient's well being and that energy spreads to the whole office. I can't recommend Dr. Washington and her all-star staff enough, so glad to have found her! ❤️

BEEEELEEEIVEEE The HYPE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I looked at the reviews after I posted this review and it all mirrored what I was saying, But I’m EXTRA. so I had to add this in to let you know. Dr Washington, was AMAZING!!! when I tell you I went in there at a low! And I left on a complete high?! I don’t know what’s been going on with me in the past few years , people have put me on so much medicine. Dr. Washington gave me a clean slate and a new plan of action That I LOVE! She actually Listened Too me! Giving me feedback and ideas She created a Great Job ! I DO FEEL THAT I’M ON A TRUE road to recovery with Her!! Not to MENTION! Her OFFICE IS LAID!!! Beautiful!! I didnt feel like A patient in there but more like I’m Visiting my Home girl at her beautiful Stylish Office over looking the city And she gave me Really VALUABLE INFORMATION about my health!! Dr. Courtney Washington D.O., is by far the most beautiful, Loving, compassionate, Sympathetic, Empathetic, and honest primary care provider I’ve had in years! As a healthcare provider myself I will testify that if you are Dr. Washington’s patient, Dr. Washington is the one taking care of you, in or out of the hospital! She treats her patients like family and has the “old school” approach that she manages you through any illness or injury! She’s going to consult her colleagues is other specialties as she needs to, but again she’s going to be in the constant coordination of your care! This an awesome doctor. Dr. Washington is super insightful and really compassionate about healthcare and medicine. The experience of the quality of care was unparalleled by any family medicine physician I’ve known for quite some time. It was very refreshing to see a physician who is a native New Orleanian. It just makes the care so much more personal because the doctor understands the cultures, economics and disparities that plague the citizens. Please to all looking for a physician that will treat you like a human/extended family instead of another number or insurance payout; come see doctor Dr. Washington. Dr. Nola is what the city of New Orleans needs.

Dr. Washington is very personable, kind, attentive, and professional. You can tell that she truly cares about her patients and loves what she do. I’m happy to have found a PCP, and I love that she offers concierge medicine at very reasonable rates because I know that my best interests will be prioritized while acknowledging the limits of most health insurance. The staff is also great! The receptionist is warm and friendly, and the tech/phlebotomist drew my blood better and more comfortably than many other nurses I’ve gone to. I trust and recommend this office!

The best!!! from the doctor to the receptionist!! They ALL were so welcoming, so positive. Normally, when you walk into a doctor’s office it has a very dull almost full of anxiety type vibe, HERE when you walk in you feel like you’re GOING to heal from your head to your toes. The energy in the office is so relaxing & refreshing. Dr. Washington is such a positive spirit and she carries herself in such a passionate manner! 100/10 would recommend any person who needs a caring doctor/aesthetician to go to ‼️

Don't waste your time. They don't respond to messages, there's no on call doctor, they send incorrect information to the pharmacist, and they change your prescriptions without telling you. Also, they don't follow up and do what they say they will when it comes to referrals. No one seems to know what's going on and there are long waits. You're better off taking your chances without a doctor than going to this one. Seriously, go elsewhere

Everyone was absolutely amazing! I felt heard and cared for. I've honestly always struggled going to doctors because I feel as if I'm not actually being listened to with my concerns. But, that was not the case here. They took the time to explain everything and even discussed with me possible causes for what I was experiencing. They were super patient when I asked questions and I was in and out pretty quickly. Will definitely recommend!

I recently moved to New Orleans from Portland Oregon and desperately needed to find a new primary care physician. I just so happened to stumble upon a contact for Fleur-De-Lis Primary Care and what an AMAZING find it was. Dr. Washington and her staff were friendly, professional and made the whole experience truly enjoyable. Dr. Washington is hands down the most knowledgeable and truly attentive primary care physician I have ever had!

I haven’t had to find a new doctor in over 10 years but since I just moved to the state it was a necessity. I am so very glad I found Dr Washington and FDL Primary Care. Everyone from the receptionist on up to the doctor were so nice and helpful. Dr. Washington is fun, friendly and knowledgeable and her follow up is superb. this is not a primary care clinic this is an overpriced medical spa. dr courtney washington is listed as my primary care physician when she shouldn't be. it's been impossible to get an appointment with her and if you can, get ready to pay $200 to see her even if you have medicaid. would leave 0 stars if i could. don't waste your time.
