I LOVED this tour. My husband and I took the half-day private Dan Brown's Inferno tour with Susanna that covered the Boboli Gardens, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio, the cathedral and baptistery, and included 2 hours in the Uffizi Gallery, but it feels like we saw and talked about so much more (Vasari corridor is still closed until some time in 2023 so we couldn't go through there, but Susanna still showed us everything that was visible outside and told us all about it). Even though 6 hours sounds like a long time for a walking tour, this was my favorite tour I've ever done in Italy. In half a day we covered so many of the major sites of Florence but with added valuable context. Susanna was SO fun to hang out with for the day and she's an art historian so she knows everything about everything. PLUS she's a big fan of the book that the tour is based on so her detailed references and enthusiasm really made for a lively and entertaining experience. She was also so friendly, kind, and flexible about when we wanted to stop for a break here and there. I'll definitely contact her again next time we come to Florence. Just absolutely lovely. Highly recommend.

We cannot thank the ladies at Florence Tours enough. We were not clients, only an American couple on the verge of being stranded by the new Covid guidelines established for the day of our departure - 48 hrs away. The Covid test was now required one day in advance and the airlines sent out paperwork to accompany the Covid test that would not download - and then required a hard copy. I don't know about you but we don't carry a printer when we travel! We walked to a location that advertised copies to find them closed. It was Saturday afternoon and we were getting desperate when we saw the office of Florence Tours and took a chance. We were greeted by our hosts as if we were valued clients...they downloaded our paperwork, made copies, offered us coffee and gave us directions back to our apartment. With an early flight in less than 48 hrs, I truly don't know how we would have managed had it not been for these wonderful ladies. The next time we come to Florence we will certainly have the good people at Florence Tours by Made of Tuscany as our hosts and guides!

Not my favorite experience. Booked the academy tour for 11am, and immediately received a call and was asked to move to 4pm. As per the instructions in the ticket, I arrived 15 minutes prior at 3:45pm but by the time I actually got into the museum it was 4:45pm. The delay was because I was pawned off to a partner agency and their guide and tour group had a different appointment. With Florence heat hitting 100 degrees, it was not the day to be left standing in the street for an hour especially since you pay the premium to skip the line. Instead of standing in line I just was standing on the sidewalk. The tour itself also was not that insightful, the core David and other Michelangelo statues were explained very well but the rest of the museum tour felt rushed. I wouldn’t recommend this agency or this tour personally.

We had a phenomenal tour of the Accademia Gallery, home of Micheangelo’s David. Susanna, our guide, was absolutely perfect. Due to an error on my part, I accidentally scheduled our tour for a day we weren’t even going to be in Florence. Even though we didn’t notice our error until the day we would be in Florence, Susanna really went above and beyond to make sure we got our tour while we were in town, negotiating with the museum and meeting us that very afternoon. We were a bit constrained on time, but she pulled together a masterpiece of a tour, tailoring it to our own needs and interests. Cannot recommend this tour or praise Susanna enough.

This is my aunties company, she has worked so hard all these years for this and I could not be prouder to say that Florence Tours by Made of Tuscany was made with so much love and thought and the whole family ate proud of you Zia Susanna! We did the Wine tour by the Sunset. Please book the tour, you won’t regret it ! Our tour was hosted by Giacomo who was really a gem : friendly, funny, kind… Perfect guide ! He explained us a lot of things about the city and we went to a lovely wine shop (that is just more than a wine shop, but I won’t spoil anything !) and I fully recommend it ! Many thanks again to Giacomo for this wonderful tour, and see you in Bordeaux !

The tour was amazing. We got unlucky as the power turned off during the time we were supposed to have a tour in the chapel of the Medicis but our guide, Giacomo was able to save the tour by showing us the old church until the new one opened. During the tour he was very friendly and knowledgeable, being able to go into detail about about the things in the chuch. All above a great experience.

I met Susanna the technical director of this Florence tour operator, she is very competent on everything you can visit in Florence she is able to involve all the tourists who visit accompanied by the fantastic monuments of this city. We took the Dan Brown Infernto Tour! Our guide was a very nice, knowledgeable and enjoyable person and we liked the tour. We didn`t enjoy so much the fact that the tour was bilingual, so first we listened in English and then in Italian.. it was not so nice. But still, I recommend the tour to Dan Brown`s fans, including teenagers!
