From the time I crossed the threshold and was assisted in complying with the Covid regulations to the professional and courteous service and very prompt follow up I received the very best level of retail service I can think of. The polite address, perfect level of attention (not too much or too little), product knowledge and reading my requirements was of a rare calibre. Jerry received me, tended to me on the sales floor, seamlessly escalated matters to contact other stores to check for stock and then promptly fed back with success. I had R1500 in freshly drawn cash on me. I was sold a great product and I, with confidence, accepted to pay R1499.99. Footgear was my last stop (I visited every store from the opposite side of mall) but next time it will be my FIRST stop. Beyond thanking Jerry and Footgear Northgate I have to congratulate the management for employing Jerry (an asset) and wish Jerry great success and reward in his career going forward. - Dirk Engelbrecht

What a poor experience I had at footgear. I bought shoes and they were small. I wanted to return them because they had no size. I went there in the morning they said they don't have CASH. I should come back later, so I went there again at last 2 all the consultants and the manager embarrassed me shouting that they don't have money I should return it somewhere else. I asked who's the manager he shouted "it's me" his name is Sfiso. He said there's no money. I went out. I came again before they could close just before 6. They whispered and laughed. I got annoyed and asked for head office numbers to report this Sfiso gave me the wrong numbers. They said I should just return it somewhere else or give them to someone else. They are so unprofessional. What a shame

Yesterday I visited this store with my family. Unfortunately we got there quite late after work just as they were closing up. I desperately needed to get shoes for an upcoming trip. Expected to be met with unhappy and annoyed staff members, I was pleasantly surprised by the kindness, happy and helpful staff members, especially Jabulane B. He went out of his way to assist me. I would highly recommend going to this store. And I will only be visiting this whenever I need new shoes.

Emmanuel and team from Northgate Footgear are exceptional assistants who not only preach good client service, but they practice it. They were all very helpful and friendly. It's because of you guys that clients go back to support you.
