Their are many different schools in this one building. A very large building. Aslo has a large auditorium. That auditorium is constantly used for graduations for it's size. This school has a large field. Also a mini parking lot. This school is also surrounded by many stores that students can go to after school.

There are some schools that are okay but some schools that aren’t and when I hear about this it is a terrible and awful school that I never want to go to Please don’t send your children to some of those schools but there are really great schools in that building but overall sshs is an okay school

Graduated the class of 1990! Times have changed over the years but the goal is still the same. As long as there are teachers that care about the students anything is possible. Education is key and South Shore pushed that motto!!!

this is the safest school in Brooklyn, NY. everyone there is totally approachable and you will get a very welcoming embrace (called an L7) if you scream "GDN"! enjoy!

This school is so amazing!!!! Very safe environment for everybody and they give u a warm welcoming when u yell out "FOLK" which is part of our school culture

I don't know about it being defunct but South Shore HS has been renamed and split into smaller schools. The football field can be reached via the B6 bus.
