The space is highly under developed. There are things that makes it very sad. They have closed off areas with table and seating. It seems not much thought went to the architectural design of the space. They could do so much more for the first black women to run for President Shirley Chisholm. I wish there was better access to the water. What about restrooms out there? Do you have people out there for hours sometimes? They’re is so much potential, but it’s being wasted land. No pun intended.

The only issue I have with this, Reserve, is the Parks Department literally pulled out an entire wide circle of flowers and sunflowers and it can be looted with garbage, sporadically. Other than that, peaceful beautiful no odor very little to none there on a daily basis quite no riff raff and no dogs allowed especially off their leashes. Parks Department Police do monitor the Reserve!

Fresh Creek Nature Preserve is basically a Marsh area and not a park for picnics or recreational activities.. It is the perfect place for nature photography or bird watching. There are a variety of native plants and birds here. There is no entry fee.

Nice for the kids. There is a lot to do for each season of the year. Very kid friendly and appropriate. Did hiking trail looking for clues can spot animals in the area. Give enough time to do all activities including water activities which may be seasonal. Call ahead for info. Otherwise wonderful first experience. Hope to visit again in winter to make maple syrup.

Great hidden gem in the rough! Love coming here for walks to clear the mind. Has nice visuals of the creek and some really interesting exotic looking birds. The bones hidden gems are off the beaten path where you can find other sides to the creek.

It's an okay walk. There are no trashcan unfortunately so expect to see garbage on the floor. You can catch a nice sunset.

Certainly a nice place for a quick break, and also good location for fishing off the pier. It is still very new however, and there aren't many other things there except for some picnic tables. Will go back, but with lower expectations.

A quiet place that allows you to slow down and forget that you are in an urban city with 8.5 million people.

Can anyone tell me where the entrance is? GPS led me to 108th between flatlands 5 and 6 but there was none. Only opening I found was at end of 108th which led me to a concrete dock and no where else to go.

Beautiful small sliver of nature around the Creek. Weaved into the community this preserve is perfect for bird watching, a great jog or walk, nature read or yoga More

A Very Calming comes over you once your in this little are of Brooklyn. Long Grass area for my Brids and Fish to live nice sitting area to ease your mind.

A interesting and inviting place nestled away in the heart of Gateway and Starrett City. A beauty and a wonder, pristine and tranquil. Love it!!!!!

It is a great place hidden in Brooklyn. There are just so many places like this in Brooklyn. But all over NYC there are places just like this.

It's really nice nice bike walking fishing and getting together Park and it's CLEAN I don't have photos sorry

Garbage, canine waste, and dead grass (landscaper must've left the past grass shavings) the entire path.

Fun to do a quick loop-walk from one end to the other while still exploring the lookouts

Limited parking due to social distancing but park is beautiful and not crowded

Nice therapeutic scenery that needs monthly cleaning by the shore of the water

Good place for views and relax think get your mind right smell the air peace
