I F'ing love this place. This was my morning stop on the way to work. First, they have great Stumptown coffee. Second they have the best fresh baked goods around. Third... The staff is super super cool. Fourth you never have to wait. I laugh at all the sheep in starbucks i pass on my way to FF.

Such good pastries. My favorite is the peach danish, but there are many lovely things to eat here. The coffee is also quite good. When you can get it, the seating is comfortable and it's a good place to chat with a friend over coffee. It is smallish, though and often all the seats are taken.

We visited this wonderful bakery/restaurant every morning because we were staying in the Hotel Ballard across the street. Loved the food, coffee, service and warm neighborhood atmosphere. Reasonable prices for fresh pastries and breakfast

Had the red bean croissant, pineapple filled pastry and raspberry galette and it was all absolutely delicious. These are really decadent pastries so three of them was filling for two people.

Good espresso, comfortable seating, and delicious pastries. We were there late in the afternoon and they still had a wide assortment of pastries.

Fresh Flours (Ballard, WA) is a wonderful cafe. I think this is the best hangover breakfast I've ever had. Flaky buttery
