I've been going to FUELHouse for 3 years and it has changed my life for the better in SO MANY unanticipated ways! I had never stepped foot in a gym prior to starting here, and was beyond terrified when I signed up initially. Frankly, it was a last resort upon facing the consequences that transitioning from life on a farm to becoming a desk-person with a full time office job had imparted on my body and my mind. Now I love the gym and going to class has been the best part of many days, especially this year! Molly and the FUELHouse crew have done a fabulous job rolling with the myriad of punches 2020 has thrown their way, and they are accepting virtual members right now! If you're like me (shy, camera-avoidant, comfortable in a seated position, etc.), attending virtual Zoom workout classes potentially sounds pretty wretched. However, I can attest that the format has been keeping me accountable and, more importantly, keeping me moving and (relatively) sane during the pandemic. The FUELHouse team is comprised of compassionate, hilarious and all around badass human beings who prioritize connection and their members' well being. If you've been looking for something to do to stay active and connect with new and awesome people despite being shut in your abode, I cannot recommend booking a free no sweat intro with one of their coaches highly enough! If you are reading this and NOT locked inside of your home, YAY! I am so glad we made it out of 2020. And you should STILL book an appointment at FUELHouse! It really is the best!
I need to start with the fact that before I became a member at FuelHouse, I was NOT a big gym person. Most of my anti-gym feelings had to do with being intimidated by the equipment, feeling lost in the movements, worrying I was going to hurt myself, and the just people in general. BUT, thankfully a friend introduced me to the coaches and community at FuelHouse and all of those feelings changed completely. The FH Coaches: 100% committed to making sure you are safe, that you are comfortable with the movements and equipment, and that you're pushing yourself to achieve your goals (big or small). The FH Community: emphasis on COMMUNITY. This is a crew of strong, kind, humble humans who support each other not just on workouts, but in life. Because of FuelHouse, I better understand that getting strong is about so much more than lifting weights - it's about being strong mentally, emotionally, AND physically. This has been abundantly evident during Covid as the Coaches pivoted to bring their programming online/virtual and then picked up the phone and started checking in with everyone. Molly, the owner, schedules virtual coffee talks with the community just to listen and connect. And the community routinely comes together to work hard and then play hard through virtual game nights and happy hours. Becoming a member at FuelHouse is about more than joining a gym - it's about joining a community of humans who will help you become an all around better version of yourself.
I have been a member of FuelHouse since the beginning, over five years now. After moving to Seattle six years ago, I was bouncing around to different fitness studios, trying to find something I liked. I took a group fitness class from Molly, who showed so much care toward me as a human being, attention I had never experienced in the fitness industry before. She was genuine and real and when she said she was opening a gym I decided to give it a try. Before that, I had never invested in a gym membership, not thinking it was worth the time and money, I now realize it is one of the most important investments a person can make. I know this is cliché to say, but it is true that Fuelhouse is not just a gym, it is a community. Fuelhouse has made Seattle feel like home over these past five years; I have made so many friends and connections it’s hard to keep track. All of the coaches Molly brings to the team have the same care and concern for the members as she does. Even the members themselves are some of the most awesome human beings in this city, if not on the planet. As a woman, it is hard to feel comfortable in a gym setting, but Fuelhouse has members of all shapes and sizes, ages and abilities, and I have never felt less than or better than another member. We are all there as a community working together with the goal of being happier and healthier, and I will always be grateful to the Fuelhouse team for creating such a beautiful fitness environment.
I have felt more engaged in my workouts and motivated to actually go since starting group classes at FUELhouse. I would recommend the gym to anyone looking for functional workouts in a positive setting. - I feel I am building more endurance and getting stronger than I ever have been, while having less down time from over exertion / injury than from my previous routines. - The workouts are not solely focused on bulking up vanity muscles like other classes I have taken, they are more functional and feel complete. - Someone at nearly any fitness level can get something from all of the classes. In group classes elsewhere I occasionally felt left behind / weak, or too advanced/strong. The trainers do a good job making sure no one feels behind in the class, they provide modifications as needed, and you can "choose your weight, choose your fate". They also provide intro courses to prepare you for the regular classes if new to this type of group exercise. - The trainers aren't just there to keep time for you and take pictures for social media/ ads, you won't feel ignored. They provide effective feedback to keep you safe and get the most from each workout. - There is variety in the classes, I haven't gotten bored or them. The team at FUELhouse has really figured it out and made something special. I expect to keep going a long time.
Listen, I've been to a lot of different types of gyms in Seattle over the years (Crossfit, Oly-lifting, Pilates, spinning, boxing, you name it...). I have never found a community that has more fun while #GSD than Fuelhouse. I am stronger and more fit than I ever anticipated, and - BONUS - the coaches and members REALLY DO care about each other. I never thought I'd look forward to working out so much! The social accountability and support network really sets this place apart from everyone else. Everyone is ready to support you in whatever goals you have - whether they are nutrition, strength, mobility, or some combination thereof. Injured or have special requirements? Great, the coaches are always ready with modifications! Even during COVID, the coaches have really pivoted to make this place super safe and welcoming, and all the members have pitched in to make sure we were following protocols so nobody got sick and they could remain open. I 110% recommend becoming a part of the Fuelhouse family!
I have been a member at FUELhouse for a year and am so thankful for the zoom workout options when we're not in the gym. My goal when joining was to work on overall strengthening to prevent injuries during sports (have had a few as age has caught up with me). While skiing this year, I can definitely feel my full body strength has improved! In addition to fitness, FUELhouse strives to help everyone become their best selves out of the gym as well. In April when we were all so cooped up, I joined a run/walk challenge and a few months of daily walking has become a morning habit I know I'll keep up even post-pandemic. Through their epic human project, I have learned some valuable stress relief and focusing techniques that help my concentration at work immensely! I'm extremely grateful for another regular habit acquired during stressful times that will carry me through to brighter days ahead. The coaches are fun and very helpful, the members are supportive and inspiring. Thank you, FUELhouse team!
I have been going to FUELhouse gym since May 2021, and I love it! I started out with their Foundations course with my spouse. I had 0 experience with weight training, kettle bells, turkish getups, etc. I highly recommend inexperienced folks to start with Foundations before doing a real class. Since my Foundations course, I have been regularly attending the morning classes: Persist and TRX + Kettle bell fusion. I love all the teachers I have had so far (Hayley, Nicole, and Kari). I also frequently attend the Sunday morning yoga class and out of the many yoga classes I have taken all over Seattle, Mike O is one of my very favorite teachers ever. The Saturday Gym Class Hero is also fun. The teachers for that vary and the workout changes depending on who is teaching that Saturday. This gym is awesome. I am so lucky to live nearby and attend these amazing workouts. Never in my life have I felt as strong as I do now!
I've been a member of Fuelhouse since it opened and have been consistently impressed with how the gym has grown and continues to evolve into a very special business and community. Molly and her staff are committed to the overall health of their members. The physical health is, of course, important. The workouts are always fun, even when they are challenging and I've never regretted anytime I've spent there. Fuelhouse has become a home away from home and I've met some incredible people since joining who have changed my life for the better. Through the pandemic, Fuelhouse provided a means for the community to stay together and stay strong through hardship. They were also incredibly supportive when I needed to take some time off due to surgery and were an essential part of my recovery. All these and more are why I am proud to be a member of this gym. Come check us out!
When I say FuelHouse changed my life it’s without any exaggeration. A few years ago I was the heaviest I had ever been I had zero confidence in the gym and no idea what a kettlebell was. I walked away from my first session with an idea of what I wanted to accomplish, knowledge I had never been given before about training, and some new friends! I could not imagine where I would be without the FH Team and members. This is not just a gym, we are group of like minded people working each and every day to better ourselves and our community. FuelHouse is challenging, rewarding, and best of all family. They offer the best virtual/covid friendly training programs and classes. 2020 sure was a doozy for all of us and thanks to FH I had one thing to look forward to each day that felt somewhat normal. Do not hesitate to join this amazing group, I promise you won’t regret it!
I have been active my whole life and been to many gyms, however, when I joined FUELhouse back in December of 2017 I have found it to be so much more than just a "gym" or place to workout. The team of amazing coaches, create a programming that is super challenging and balanced. The team really focuses on the right kind of movement for you and your body, they create fun programming that challenge you to develop beyond what you think you could and know when to pull back to focus on the fundamentals. Beyond just the AMAZING coaching.... everyone feels like a giant family. I love going to the gym and seeing everyone every day. I love that FUELhouse focuses on the whole human behind just a class, it's a community. If you are thinking about stopping in... stop thinking and just come check it out... you will be hooked and part of the family! :-)
I've been training at FUELhouse for almost five months now and I've loved the experience! I had aggressive goals and they've helped me achieve them outstandingly. I've lost over 25+ lbs with the help of their incredible nutrition and personal training staff, feel stronger than I ever have, and more confident in my abilities to go out in the world and conquer new adventures and challenges. Thanks so much for your continued dedication to creating an environment that is friendly to beginners! I had never been to a gym for classes, workouts, etc, before going to FUELhouse, and the approach Andrea (the person whom I train with) has utilized has made me more knowledgable about my fitness, body, and how to safely train to become as strong as possible. Thank you FUELhouse, Andrea, Tiff, Brian, and all the rest of the incredible staff!
This is the best gym in Seattle! Molly and the other amazing coaches have really built something special here. The workouts are challenging, but accessible for everyone, and there are always options to scale up or scale down. The coaches are super knowledgeable, always prioritize safety and proper form and technique, and are positive and encouraging. The group classes are so much fun; I love how creative the coaches are at coming up with unique and different workouts. I've come from a background of crossfit and this is similar, but with more of a focus on kettlebells, and less of a focus on competition. The community is also incredible, and a big part of what makes this place great. My husband and I both go here and love it - it's just the best gym!
I discovered kettlebells at FUELhouse, and this gym has become one of the staples of my community in Seattle. Molly and Jeff are the reason that kettlebells have become the first sustainable fitness practice I’ve found. I feel challenged yet capable in every class with their mix of compassion, top-notch instruction, constructive feedback, humor, and just overall humanness. Kettlebells are my preference, but every instructor and class offers the same high caliber coaching. They’re real people, and they treat every person like one, too. This is a place where I can bring my whole self to the gym and feel accomplished at the end of every session. I’m also happy to support a woman-owned business—Molly has created an incredible community at FUELhouse.
I joined Fuelhouse two weeks after they first opened (Fuelhouse 1.0) in 2015 and I will literally be a member until the day I die. This is the best, most supportive fitness community and they've gotten me through so much. I moved to SF for a year and Fuelhouse was one of my biggest reasons for moving back. I'm the strongest, healthiest, and most confident I've ever been. Every single one of the coaches is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and encouraging. Whether you need help with form, goals, nutrition, accountability, or you just need someone to talk to, there's always a smiling face eager to help. I'm so grateful for this place, especially in 2020 - because they're absolutely rocking the virtual game and I'm staying sane because of it!!
Fuelhouse goes well beyond a simple gym. Though it offers dynamic programming, a huge variety of classes, formats and personal training, it is MORE than that. It is a community, a collective and a family. The coaches will meet you wherever you are and never emphasize quantity or weight over form and technique, keeping everyone safe in pursuit of their goals. FH was the first gym I felt comfortable trying out after beginning recovery for my eating disorder, and I found a welcome inclusive space where I feel free to listen to my body. Part of my reason for moving back to Seattle was this place- I needed to prioritize my health and I knew there was no better place for my mind and body! I'm thrilled to be a part of this family ❤️
I have been going to Fuelhouse for the past year and the reason I love it more than other gyms is because the sense of community. Joining a new gym can be scary, but members and staff are awesome at helping new members feel comfortable. As a petite female, they made strength training not intimidating or scary. All ages and levels of fitness are welcome and encouraged. All the coaches are super knowledgable and interested in helping you grow stronger in a safe way! Everyone lifts each other up and it is such a positive environment. They did an amazing job getting virtual workouts available to members almost instantly during COVID-19. I am so lucky and beyond grateful to have found my gym home :)
Coming into town for a convention in SeaTac, FUELhouse owner Molly was exceptionally welcoming and to us out-of-towners and made us feel right at home. Brian was a great instructor: knowledgeable, personable, and an excellent demonstrator of kettlebell form. He did a great job leading the class, answering questions, and keeping us on time! The space is both starkly functional (it's in an old warehouse) but also comfortable. The bathrooms are papered with wonderful motivational posters. If you like kettlebells, if you need motivation and companionship, if you want to get strong, this is the kind of place to go. Also they are very accommodating to drop-ins from out of town. A++ !
Great experience on all fronts at FUELhouse. I was visiting and I always love checking out other gyms. Tiffany K. was my coach. She was friendly and explained the movements and provided options if needed. The training itself had strength and conditioning components and the diversity of movements made it really fun (Sunday Fun Day!). The members were welcoming to me right away and they were all upbeat. All of them were interactive and supportive. It was obvious, they enjoy training at FUELhouse. They added to the enjoyment and fun of the session. Highly recommend giving this place a try if you are looking for solid training and awesome people (both coaches and members)!
I first trained with Coah Sokol three years ago when I was making a pit stop in Seattle to visit family for the holidays. This past week, I was able to train with him again, and remembered why I keep coming back. Coach Sokol and the FuelHouse team have rigorous classes, but the way they train and coach is detailed and helpful for those that have minor or major experience with kettlebells. Someone like me with intermediate knowledge on kettlebell techniques am always learning something new in these classes, and ways I can properly use kettlebells without hurting myself. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in the PNW. Thanks again coach for the consideration!
This is way more than a gym, it's a fitness family. The whole team, coaches, owners, members, everyone is supportive, welcoming, and encouraging. The dedication to the wellness of the members as humans is unmatched. The immediate switch to an all-virtual environment in the face of COVID and continuing to create connections and community has been impressive and I'm so thankful for the opportunity to continue to train even from my sub-par home gym (kitchen). I can't say enough good things about this team...if you're even considering making a fitness move, take advantage of the trial class, meet with the coaches, they're all awesome!
Caring, intelligent, genuine, creative coaches who attract caring, intelligent, genuine, creative people. FuelHouse is so much more than lifting heavy metal in a building with a cool mural: it is yoga, it is mental health, it is community, it is family, is my Third Place that supports and greatly enhances how I show up in this world. I am so glad I started there in January 2019 and look forward to an even longer future relationship. My physical fitness is in a much better place, as well as my emotional and mental health. Holistic gains at FuelHouse. Also, funny AF. So much good humor there.
This gym is not a gym, it is a community of epic people who believe in balance and encouragement. They genuinely care about each and every member. Safety is of the highest concern while pushing for progress, both physically and mentally. FUELhouse is a team of well educated, diverse professionals that you can learn from, but also want to have a beer with. They have managed to keep me motivated and engaged through this virtual world that I would typically find as a fantastic excuse to stop and just accept gaining the COVID19. I am so grateful for my FUELhouse family!
This place is a true home away from home. As a community, we don't take ourselves too seriously, but we're serious about strength of body, mind, and support. All of the coaches know their sh*t and offer individual coaching and modifications in challenging group classes (virtually and in-person when available). I do personal training with Brian and he's a gem! He's helped me work through injuries and accomplish new goals - always bringing good vibes. Without this community of awesome and dedicated coaches and members, 2020 would have been a lot harder to get through.
I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with gyms because I always felt intimidated when I went. This is NOT the case with the FUELhouse! From the minute I joined, I felt welcomed. They offer a variety of programs and enough variety each week that I don’t get bored. They are there to help you get the most out of your workout. Can’t do an exercise, no problem they’ll give you an alternate move. Feeling like quitting, they are there to talk to about what’s going on and will WORK with you. This gym is a community that is supportive. I’m glad to be a member!
I joined FuelHouse 2 years ago and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have always enjoyed exercising and did CrossFit over the years but this place is something really, really special. They welcome everyone! Of every age, every walk of life, every fitness level. The coaches are ALL top notch and experts in their fields. Knowledgeable, kind and empowering. The members are non-judgmental and inspiring. There is a sense of community, this is not just a place to go workout. This is a place to go to grow into your best self.
This is EASILY the best gym I've ever been to. No questions asked. The monstrous upgrades I've made in my form, strength, fitness, and overall health are immeasurable and it's all thanks to the amazing people at FUELHouse. It's also one of the most welcoming communities I've ever seen. No one has an ego, and you will feel at home within seconds of being in the community. Whether you're brand new to the world of strength and fitness, or have a ton of experience and want to perfect your form and hit some serious PRs, this is the place.
Fuel House is an amazing community amd family to join and be apart of. The coaches on staff and Molly the owner have adapted to our needs to keep our bodies moving during the pandemic. They offer programming that challenges us and keeps us all engaged. The virtual class offerings have changed my ability as a working parent to stay committed to my health and wellness during COVID closure. FuelHouse takes a holistic approach to physical fitness and health. They are family friendly and I would recommend this gym to anyone.
From the minute I first stepped into Fuel House, I was made to feel like i was part of a family. Molly, Brian, Jeff, Kiel, Andrea, Geneva and every member I met during classes were fantastic! the coaches are very knowledgeable and friendly. Their Kettlebell and Barbell/bodyweight classes are fantastic!!! I took 4 classes while visiting Seattle and am very happy I had the opportunity to meet and train with the great people at Fuel House! Thanks again for having me and being so hospitable!❤️♂️
Fuelhouse is so much more than a gym. It's a place to get strong, be supported, build friendships, celebrate life, be in community, challenge yourself, deepen your wellness knowledge base, change your habits, shift your mindsets, and learn from the most educated and inspiring coaches in the business. It is a one-of-a-kind fitness experience that might just change your life. We are truly stronger together, and Fuelhouse creates the environment where strength, in all aspects of life, thrives.
A wonderful and friendly gym for an athlete of any age or skill level. This gym has no egos and no hidden agendas. You get knowledgeable trainers in fitness and diet. For many years I was never into the idea of group exercise training, but I eventually realized that my own efforts were not enough. Glad I broke out of my shell to try something new. Worth every penny. All you need to do is bring the determination and Fuelhouse will take care of the rest. Not a bad deal.
I've never been to a gym where at least five people walked up to me to welcome me because they recognized I was new. I am so incredibly grateful to have found my home. This is not just a gym. This is a community of AMAZING humans who truly care for your wellbeing. All the coaches are so knowledgeable and I learn something new every time. As a physical therapist, I am constantly recommending this gym and their trainers to all my patients. I am a FUELer fo lyfe.
I attended a Strong First 101 kettlebell training class and I learned hands on high quality training techniques! This is a top notch gym for anyone looking to get strong the right way and build a body that will withstand the stresses of life and set you apart. The Training I attended was great and Annalisa, Jeff and Molly were all great instructors that really had high quality instruction that touched every aspect. I'm looking forward to attending in October!!
FUELhouse is hands down the best gym I've attended in Seattle in the past 30+ yrs. FUELhouse has numerous trainers and all are highly skilled, knowledgeable, friendly, fun, and laid back while focusing on safety. The gym's owners, trainers and clients are welcoming and non-competitive and still focus on making one's personal goals reality. Highly recommend checking out FUELhouse if you want to get in shape, have fun, and feel good about yourself.
This the most amazing gym in that it isn't JUST a gym; it's a community of wonderful people who work to make you the best person you can be. The coaches are superb at their jobs. They are meticulous and caring and always have an option if a movement is not working for you. The nutrition plans are spot on and the camaraderie is part of the ethic of the place. I cannot say enough good things about it. Come try it out and you will love it too.
I have been coming to this gym for four months now. First off, I love the variety of classes that they offer. I have been doing things that I am used to but have been trying new things out as well. The energy at this gym is extremely supportive and accepting. All of the trainers are wonderful. They are very caring and help me push myself to dig deep, while also providing a safe environment. I am so thankful to be part of this community.
This is such an incredible gym with an amazing community! I’ve been going to FUELhouse for two months now, and from my very first day the coaches and other members were so friendly and welcoming. The coaches are all highly knowledgeable and you can tell there is a lot of thought and effort that is put into the programming for each workout. And the coaches genuinely CARE about you and your growth. Love love love this place!
Molly and her team at FUELhouse are world class - not an exaggeration. It's going to be hard to find a better place to go to get strong in Seattle. Personally, I love the variety of classes offered, I think the programming is super smart, which leads to efficient gains and just feeling really good. That nice, but honestly, this place is just fun. Great community, great culture, I'm down with the #fuelhousetribe.
FUELhouse is a gym of epic proportions where everyone knows your name! It is the MOST supportive and engaged community of coaches and members. FUELhouse not only cares about my fitness and strength goals but my overall well being as a human. They have also supported me pre/post pregnancy with appropriate modifications to meet me where I’m at and a community group to foster support. Can’t recommend enough!
I've been going to FUELhouse for 2+ years and I've never loved a gym more. I'm stronger, healthier, and happier than I've ever been in my life and that's larger due to the wonderful people at FUEL. The trainers are friendly, attentive, and inspire everyone to get their butts to the gym and work hard toward their goals every day. 10/10 recommend for anyone looking to join a tribe of badass guys and gals.
Great Gym with exceptional coaching staff. The mix barbells, kettlebells, free weights, cardio, and a lot of other things I can't even remember. They are constantly revisiting the programing and soliciting feedback from their members (and actually acting on the feedback). They focus on quality and avoiding injuries. The owner is excellent at communicating to the members in a fun positive way.
Fuelhouse is more than a gym... it's an inspirational fitness community. It doesn't matter what level of experience you have, the coaches at Fuelhouse are incredible at meeting you where you are and helping you achieve your goals. For me personally, the combination of classes and personal training are an awesome mix to refine my techniques and make gains, even in the crazy times of COVID.
This place. So great. Both staff AND members are an inclusive bunch - which I think is a big deal for a gym, no? It has varied workouts and always has solutions to modify the workouts so that it is safe and feels good for you. Plus these guys know how to laugh and have fun. Only no longer there because I moved away...and yes this was one of the hardest parts of moving!! Love these guys!
I have had such a great experience working out at Fuelhouse Gym! Every workout fuels my energy towards a stronger, healthier, more present person. Molly and her couches always take the time to help motivate through their great awareness of the body. I always felt supported no matter what I was feeling that day about moving my body. Everybody should Go try this great gym!!!
This gym focuses on far more than the physical part of wellness. You will absolutely get good workouts, sweat hard, and build that muscle definition all while learning proper techniques. But this is a place that also focuses on nutrition, spirituality, and the importance of camaraderie and community.
FuelHouse is not just a gym. It's a community of supportive coaches and people who want to live a healthy live. Not only am I more active thanks to FH I am supported and encouraged. I have belonged to many gyms and fitness communities throughout my life and this one is the best I've ever come across.
I cannot recommend this place enough; it’s so much more than a gym! The coaches are top-notch, the community is incredibly welcoming, and the workouts are always challenging but achievable! Owner Molly is a fantastic human who really knows her stuff. Come check them out, you won’t regret it!
All around phenomenal gym and workout programming. The coaches are amazing (fun, enthusiastic, motivating, experts in technique) and both coaches + members really make you feel welcomed and a part of a close-knit community day one. Very happy I found this gym — highly recommend :)
I became a member of Fuelhouse this past September After a year of PT for a back injury. I’ve been able to rebuild my strength thanks to the training and encouragement of Jeff Sokol and Molly Kieland. It’s such a great community at Fuelhouse.
Loved that Fuelhouse Gym made this Midwest gal feel welcome for a drop in class this morning! Owner Molly and coach Haley were all awesome, and all the members there were so great! Highly recommend!
I've been looking for a gym with a strong community for years, and Fuelhouse is exactly what I needed! The coaches and the community are fantastic.
