I recently had a very sketchy experience with this place. After seeing an advertisement on FB for their "6 week transformation" I went to an orientation (to which I literally received like 4 text reminders the same day and a phone call from some girl -talk about overkill) led by Nathan in which I was told this was the last time they were doing it and the last one was done 7 months ago. They were "fully booked" this time around too. The timing didn't work but they had a set start date and there wasn't flexibility for me to start a month later. Oh and it cost $600, in which I'd get a refund if I lost 25 lbs in that 6 weeks (even after Nathan JUST told me how hard it is to lose weight after yoyo-ing for 10 years...). Well a week later I see the same advertisement again on FB, which I thought was strange since Nathan JUST said it was the last one. I also did some research and checked out reviews in which women were stating they "just finished their challenge"...3 months ago...not 7, like Nathan told me. I commented on the FB post to this effect (my comment was deleted), but tried to sign up again because I was still very interested. Well, Nathan called me and I reminded him I'd just come in for an orientation but I asked the start date this time. The date was still while I was out of town but this time he started asking when I could start (like all of sudden there's flexibility?). I told him May and he told me to call back then to set it up. I asked if this was the same deal as the other one and now he tells me the $600 is no longer refundable, but can go towards gym services. Needless to say, I won't be joining the program. Not sure what kind of business is being run here, but the conflicting information and blatant lies are very concerning. I felt like everything was some sales tactic....Did he lie originally about it being sold out since it was running again a week later? Just feels like a money grab. People want honesty, not a bunch of salestalk bs. It's also odd that NO ONE ever leaves a voicemail when they call.

True colors come out with hardship and stress. Before Covid-19 occurred there were events that turned me off from my membership here and I cancelled. What was once a wonderful, family/friend oriented gym turned into selling 6 week miracle transformation crash diet programs with group fitness classes. These classes involved multiple people doing circuit training, using a majority of the equipment. It's a small gym. Members who were paying full price weren't able to use the equipment while this was going on. So I quit. Then during covid the truth came out. The greed. Complaining about having no income due to the mandatory closures. They clearly indicated poor financial set-up/background as they began requesting members opt to continue paying their memberships, despite the fact that EVERYONE is now financially struggling and has little to no income. So they should be continuing to get paid and live their life without financial struggle, but everyone who is struggling should help them just because they need it more than others. Apparently. This was further made evident by the e-mail they released today stating that since they didn't want to take a loan from the government they would have to repay, they are continuing to charge members monthly, back charging them and then INCREASING membership fees and instating a yearly fee on top of that. Now making the most expensive gym per month. They also now have implemented a three month cancellation policy, to ensure they get three months paid at their now exorbitant rate before being able to be free of these greedy, desperate individuals. Who by the way, are also only picking what they want to choose to believe in life. Like preaching 'research' and 'evidence based science' for fitness, but when it comes to health go on about being sheep and the government is in this to trick us, that vaccines are mind control devices and 5G is trying to poison us. I've had enough of this for a lifetime.

Watch out for their cancellation policy. They will not attach the form when you give them the one month notice and require you to request for the form. I went 2 weeks not knowing this until I got charged as was left curious to why. They mentioned that it is because you need to fill out this form which they left out of the email the first time when I requested. They owned up to their mistake but said sorry not sorry as this is our policy. It is less about the money and more about the principle. I enjoyed the gym when I was there but I was away so I figured to cancel rather than put it on hold. Very disappointing that a business would use sales tactics and distraction messages within an email to avoid cancellations rather than just honor my word and allow me to cancel. So if you are wanting to cancel your membership or to sign up with this gym make sure you email them to get the cancellation form first thing when you get your membership as there is no other way to get it.

Didn't want to do this but no one seems to want to get back to me again. I had a bad injury so I needed some time off and wanted to freeze my membership. I sent an email and they froze it for 3 months. I must've missed the 3 months part and saw I was getting charged again so I blocked the payments. This was my mistake and got an email from someone there telling me I need to pay for the previous month's and I agree due to me being dumb. I don't hear back from them and figured I'd just pay the back payments when I head back to the gym then a few days ago I get a latter from a collection agency, nice. I send them another email about it but no reply again. I would think they would at least call first before going the collection agency route to make sure they or I didn't miss an email but nope, must be to hard to pick up a phone. This is a great way to treat a long time member and someone that didn't freeze my membership all through the lockdown. To bad, its a nice gym.

Recently I took part in a 6 week fitness challenge offered at Full Scene Athletic Center as a way to get my butt back into the gym after taking a year off due to an injury and couldn’t be happier with the results. I found it challenging, informative, and inspirational and will definitely be apart of my everyday living in one way or another. During the 6 weeks they taught me how to lay out my meals by providing an easy to follow structured plan and gave continual input and support the whole time which in my opinion was the best part of this challenge. The other half of the program were three killer workouts every week led by their awesome in house trainers. They gave excellent instructions, continuous inspiration and insured that you were performing each exercise correctly and safely. You definitely leave there tired as hell but feeling great. Thank you Full Scene Atlantic Center for the kick start I needed!

My 1 year anniversary with Full Scene just passed and I’m blown away by the difference being a member at this gym has made in my life! There have been so many positive changes to my physique & strength, my mood and my energy. And my confidence has sky rocketed! Not only is the gym fully set up with high end equipment, it’s an amazing environment to immerse yourself in. The other gym members are all very friendly, there’s a real sense of community. And the owners, Ty and Alissa, give 110% to the gym and their clients. Their passion towards their business and the health and fitness industry is truly evident; their willingness to help and give of themselves to everyone who walks through the door is amazing! I look forward to my second year as a Full Scene member and I very highly recommend this gym to anyone and everyone!

Wonderful communal gym. Had a chance to participate in the 6-week challenge and its no walk in the park. Hated lifting when i came to this gym and I've left feeling it's genuinely important especially with trainers that guide you on how to lift correctly. Don't do the challenge just because it's "free", it's a full commitment that you need to take seriously since you are betting on yourself. You can take up the challenge too as a way to start your gymming life especially if it has failed to find consistency. I loved the experience and it has enhanced my tennis life so I'd say give this place a try, it's worth it. Wonderful community, clean bathrooms, great friendly owners and trainers.

A couple of weeks ago I finished a 6 week fitness challenge and I killed it! I lost almost 30 pounds and over 14 inches in SIX WEEkS! With their nutrition plan I was never hungry and was in constant contact with a trainer if I had any food questions. There were 3 trainer guided classes a week and the results were amazing. I was stronger and doing more than I ever thought I could. The environment was always positive and encouraging. I recommend to everyone to try this place. You will not regret it. I know I don't!

Recently finished their 6 week challenge. The trainers and classes were great and challenging. Trainers corrected your form when needed. Near the end of the 6 weeks they started changing the exercises a bit but up to that point it was fairly routine. The food was good, lots of options, not boring at all. Felt like I was always eating, never hungry. The only part that could have been improved on was the accountability.

I just recently finished the 6 week challenge at Full Scene. I found the workouts a lot of fun and a good balance of weights and conditioning. The trainers were awesome and the exercises were creative and challenging. The meal plan was really reasonable and most of the recipes were really tasty. The only frustrating part was having my weigh-ins re-scheduled several times.

  • Christina Trandafir

Really enjoy the atmosphere here! Great equipment and trainers who are knowledgable, encouraging and push you to do your best. Love that it's locally owned and the owners are involved in the business daily. Finished a 6 week challenge and feel great, loved that they were involved and helped me achieve my goal! It's definetly worth checking out!

Fantastic groups of trainers here. I just completed a 6 week conditioning training that included personal trainers and structured food guidelines. There methods certainly work and helped me achieve my first of several fitness and health goals. I would certainly recommend this gym to others. Fantastic atmosphere and instruction. Thanks again!
