(SAVE YOU KID'S EDUCATION) Hello there, yes you. Thank you for reading my comment because it will save you a lot of time and money! Let me first introduce myself, hello my name is Noah, I was a student at Fusion Academy (Southlake). I transferred to Fusion from Westlake Academy in hopes of getting a better personalized education, but this was not the case! My parents and I first talked to the head of school ( Stephen Schwartz ) about the academic rigor, and boy he really sold it to us! He was very repetitive in regards to how the student would get preferential treatment because of the one-on-one, but this is not the case whatsoever. THE STUDENT ONLY DOES THE BARE MINIMUM, the teachers don't teach at the level they need to prepare the student for college, which none of the students that graduate from Fusion get into a decent college anyways. I remembered walking into my English class a couple of minutes early , and asking my teacher Lauren if I could start working on an assignment, and she said "no you're supposed to work on that when your time starts." I was mortified and felt like I could work on the opening assignment to get it out of the way so we could work on meaningful work, but I knew she wasn't going to let me do that anyways. She uses the beginning assignment to waste time, so at the end you only have 30min left to work on a some what meaningful assignments. SOME CLASSES I FELT SO THAT THE TEACHER DIDN'T EVEN PREPARE A LESSON FOR ME AT ALL, BUT PRINTED OFF RANDOM ASSIGNMENTS ON THE INTERNET, WHICH WAS THE CASE. I went to Stephen about this and he didn't do anything, but rather questioned me for walking in early. I then knew from that moment on that this guy didn't care about improving that school or the teachers at all. But what I did know that if wanted to get a really education I had to leave, so I did. (MORE INFO DOW BELOW) Conclusion: Honestly I could go on-and-on about this school, but that's not going to help me nor you, but what I do ask of you is to trust me. Please don't sent your child to this school because it's really not worth it at all! (More info) What Fusion lacks for the money the consumer is paying aka what any other private school includes except Fusion: 1.) AP Classes/ books 2.) Certified/ experienced teachers 3.) Useable Computers 4.) College advisor 5.) IT person for the glitchy computers 6.) Homework cafe person that knows math because doesn't know 7.) They don't test AP or SAT tests, which is very important for college admissions!!! 8.) The silent cafe is load 9.) The students don't work they socialize, and the Homework cafe leader doesn't care

I have been a Fusion employee for over 4 years. I started my Fusion career as a Life Skills Instructor. Additionally, I taught Wellness and served as the Wellness Lead. Teaching courses like these, essential courses for student success that are not taught at other schools, public or private, was a true honor and joy. The skills Fusion students develop through courses like these, support their general education are undeniable and set them up for success in life beyond middle and high school. I was promoted to an administration position, Director of Homework Café, at our Fusion Dallas campus. In this role I am part of the leadership team and my team is absolutely amazing. I could not ask for better humans to work with. It's the best support system imaginable. Our teachers, the people "in the trenches" that do the REAL work, are unbelievably unique and talented, not to mention some of the hardest workers I've ever met. Fusion teachers have to flex, adapt and evolve in a moment's notice, from hour to hour, sometimes minute to minute, to accommodate all of our students, meeting them where they are at. Their magical ability to differentiate the subject material for any student resulting in growth and learning success is truly inspiring. Our teachers also spend important, crucial quality time mentoring our students to develop social, emotional and academic balance, helping them to achieve a strong sense of well-being. It takes a very special individual to teach at Fusion and we are so lucky to have all the amazing teachers that we have at Fusion Dallas. The very best part of my job is how much I feel valued. To me, feeling valued is everything. And finally, watching our students come through some really challenging life experience to graduate, many of them with scholarships to universities all across the nation, is heart-warming beyond words. Bottom line, Fusion Dallas is a wonderful place to work!

If I could give more stars, I would! No amount of stars or writing of words could express my love for Fusion. I have been a student there for most of my High School career, and could not be more grateful. I came into Fusion in a vulnerable place personally and less than ideal academic situation, and was concerned about my ability to not only graduate on time, but ability to graduate knowing I was ready for the future. From day one, Fusion has been a safe, loving and encouraging environment for myself and others and has never failed to impress me with their connection to the students. No where else have I felt like I was completely safe asking questions to my teacher and that it was alright for me to get something wrong. It was a breath of fresh air to know my teachers genuinely cared about both me and my education. At Fusion, I was able to build a strong sense of self and community, and I foresee many long-lasting friendships with the students I have met! Fusion's unique and revolutionary set up has helped me devise a plan for my current education and future, build self confidence and emotional maturity, cultivate my creativity and talents, and most importantly feel confident of my own personal abilities and possibilities - allowing me to unlock my full academic and social potential.

I can't say enough, how grateful I am for Fusion Academy Dallas. They were exactly what we needed while my high school senior was recovering her mental health. The one on one instruction really helped her reconnect with her love of learning while the daily progress report helped us to keep her accountable. My daughter loved working with all her teachers and enjoyed some deep discussions and conversations. The staff and the Head of School were all very nice and accommodating. I have seen a meaningful change in my daughter and feel that Fusion has prepared her well for her to reintegrate back into her high school. One of the most profound change I noticed is how comfortable she was talking to her teachers. She was not one to seek out her teachers for help in a traditional class room, but the one on one instructions redefined the student-teacher relationship for her. I am hopeful that she will carry this into a more traditional class room and into college where it will be crucial for her success. When my daughter's high school suggested alternate learning solution for her, it was truly a low point for us, but after going through Fusion Academy, I think it was one of the best things to happen to her.

After more than 10 years in a traditional private school, we knew a change had to be made for my daughter's mental wellbeing during her junior year of high school (clearly not an optimal time to leave). We found Fusion after multiple people (mostly doctors) suggested we learn more about it. I am so thankful we visited & were able to enroll quickly. Fusion Dallas has been truly life changing for my daughter & our family. After 1.5 years in a one-on-one teaching environment, my daughter has her confidence and strong mental health back! That actually started in the first few weeks in the new environment and has only continued to grow. The teachers have been amazing - strong, caring, focused but also firm in helping her get back to the more rigorous academics she was used to in the past but in a balanced way. The administration has always been there to answer questions & support any issues. My daughter will graduate next week and will be going to her top university choice out-of-state in the Fall. Hoping that it will be a great experience, but all of this is a journey. Fusion has prepared her as much as possible for this next step in life, and I am forever grateful & thankful!

Thank you to the complete Fusion Team! As we looked at options to gain credits for our son this summer, it has been quite an adventure. We didn't have any experience in this and as for many, this school year has been quite a challenge. Fusion was the only orginization who helped every step of the way. Quick Responses, answered all our questions and every person at Fusion really cared that we recieved what we needed to make an educated decision on our son's future. Very impressive. Would recommend.

We had an amazing experience with all of the teachers at Fusion. Not only do they meet your student where they are, they also help them to gain confidence and create lessons (when possible) that match your student’s interests, so that they really do enjoy the learning process so much more. The teachers were so genuinely invested in our child we will always be so grateful for the time he had with these teachers and staff.

This is the best school I’ve ever been to in my entire life! I have learned more at Fusion Dallas than I learned at any other school. Other schools could not teach me nearly as much as Dallas Fusion has and I love it! It also has a great social environment that fosters creativity and intuitiveness. I would definitely recommend Fusion Dallas to anyone seeking an awesome education.

What makes fusion excellent is its people. The head of school, Christina, is one of the warmest and inviting individual I have had to pleaser to work with. The school is always trying to accommodate my students in any way possible and always strives for excellence. The unique learning environment truly makes this a person centered learning center.
