I would like to take the time to say what an amazing service we received after my dad passed away. From the moment in the early hours of the morning when they came for dad, we were treated with care and compassion, as was dad himself. During every meeting and phone call we were guided and supported to make the arrangements, we we're given time to compose ourselves through every difficult situation. Everything we asked for was accommodated and arranged. On the day of the funeral everything went as planned and dad had a wonderful send off. We would highly recommend Dovener and Son for the professional, personal service they provide .

Excellent service from the fist enquiry until the after care following the funeral. Our situation was complicated with having to repatriate the body but Doveners liased with the international funeral directors and made it all very streamlined . I want to say how pleased I am with how my husband's funeral arrangements were dealt with; all done with care and compassion throughout. In these days it is hard to mix a caring attitude with what must be done to please the bureaucrats but this was achieved by all members of staff at G H Dovener & Son. Thank you to GH Dovener and especially to Sonia for showing compassion, care, and support throughout the process of arranging my stepdad's funeral with me. We were guided through each step of the arrangements with caring and compassion. The quality of the Order of Service was excellent. Any questions or queries were promptly dealt with and there were good communication links with the Vicar at the church. On the day of the funeral everything was calmly taken care of allowing me to relax and focus on the service and my family.

I would like to express my thanks to both Sonia and David for their professional attendance to detail in organising the funeral of my late step -mother in law. The pre organisation and actual cremation went without any problems. We chose a Reflections Personalised Picture Coffin which fitted both the life of the deceased and the mood of the day. Thank you.

The kindness and care that staff gave to the family was excellent in every way; advising and booking all the venues including the Vicar as well as arranging an early viewing for my son who was flying away on business. The grandchildren especially appreciated having the option to carry Grandpa's coffin into the Crematorium. Thank you very much.

An excellent, kind and considerate service was given by the whole team when dealing with my mothers funeral. Doveners have many years of experience and were extremely patient with my many questions and emails to ensure that the undeniable stress of this time was minimised as far as possible.
