I have a very good experience of travelling in the orange line metro train in Lahore. You will have a feeling of being traveling in a foreign country, but it vanishes your feel when see the scenes through the train windows of local area house and etc. I was little annoyed due to a noisy experience inside the train. It seems like you are on the board of a flying plane and you can listen a clear noise of engines like plane. However this transit system of Lahore is a good initiative of the provincial Govt of Punjab, to address the needs of transportation of the capital city of Punjab i.e. Lahore. The ticket charges are very reasonable it ranges from 20-50 PKR depends on your destination. Whenever you visit Lahore must have experience of orange line metro train. You will definitely enjoy the ride.

Excellent service Orange Line is an automated rapid transit line in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan initiated by Mr. Shehbaz sharif , chief minister of provine punjab under china Pakistan economic corridor project. It is operated by the Punjab Mass Transit Authority and forms part of the Lahore Metro system. The line is Pakistan's first metro train. The line spans 27.1 km (16.8 mi) with 25.4 km (15.8 mi) elevated and 1.72 km (1.1 mi) underground. The line is served by 26 stations and is expected to handle 250,000 passenger daily. The Orange line is being financed by both the Government of Pakistan, and Government of China. Timing: 6am to 10pm 6am is the starting time of Train that arrives at midway station respective time. Speed : 60km per hour Stay time: 1 minute on each station

Cleaning getting better but lot of work is still pending. Water leakage on most of statiins is disturbing people walking beneath them as well as they will distroy the structure of stations. Lot of staff is employed on petty matters. Lets educate the public and use this staff elsewhere. Also ask good comapnies to ooen their smart shops at stations including eating, mobile easyloads, money transfers. Force them to good better rate than market so people start buying from them. It will reduce the loss if someone is serious about it. Also ask multinationals and big locan companies to use platforms and pillar of the structure for advertising to get some profits from the structure and re-invest on it for maintenance.

Neat and Clean Station. The staff is So Corporative and Humble. Well Maintained all the things. The Security system is so much satisfied. You can't believe that this is Pakistan. Secuirty 10/10 Staff 10/10 Maintenance 10/10 Cleanliness 10/10 Highly Recommended for daily use, you can easily travel from One end to another at a reasonable price. Not so Crowded like Metro Busses. The Prices are so minimal, The price starts from 30 to 35 Rupees. You can easily get the Token from Counter and Token Machines. Technology is so advanced in the stations.

Very fine experience You just feel having got out of the scorching heat n scruffy roads of Lahore n have joined a fine of the rides (excuse the people inside) but try to keep your headphones along n the journey would be really fine Secondly it takes you right from one corner of Lahore to other in mere 40 rs when even uber rickshaws would charge atleast 500/- N then bypasses the traffic n being really fast it’s highly recommended n affordable!! A wonderful public transport service for people of Lahore and first of it's kind with high speed dedicated track ans subsidized fare. Very well maintained and on time with great convenience to travel across city. It would be great to have similar projects to connect entire city on different routes as well as for other cities of Pakistan decreasing requirement of having own transport by general public not to mention decreasing carbon footprint and saving the environment.

Line * Orange Line Train is very beautiful, good and cheap way to travel in the city for Lahorees and outsiders as well. * It is very comfortable in extreme weather situation also as I feel and tested. * Specially GPO station is very beautiful underground station. * Children (Ahad and Imad Arshad, Hajra and Sara Maryam) after extreme walking visit of the zoo felt better and cheerful on 11 August 2023.

A good service, a station in between Anarkali and Lakshmi. One entrance / exit is from High Court and other entrance/exit is from PTCL office. You have to enter through same booths either going to Dera Gujran or Ali Town. After crossing it, you have to use underneath way to go respective side. Overall it was a good experience

Found another entrance into GPO station today. Way more to find. Good staff. Well maintained. May they keep it neat and clean forever. Amen. Quite a long corridor & # of steps with cool air welcoming one. Not complaining at all. Just a wish to sit and meditate there while enjoying that silence. Don't forget to be awesome.

There are 4 entrances to the station and can be confusing for the 1st time. But the staff is very cooperative and helpful. Nice and clean train station with ample parking space as well (along the entrance 4). There's a ticket counter as well as ticket vending machines. It's fast and economic way of travel in Lahore.

This public transport is amazing. If you are moving in Lahore or travelling on long routes. It will be best choice. Station and train both are air conditioned and setting space is fair enough.sometimes it's crowed but mostly you get a seat easily. Security guard behavior is not good. They are inactive and behavior like they are owner of station. I suggest to the team head to teach them manners and ask them to be polite instead showing attitude.

Orange line is a gift for lahore,s public transport butt unfortunately hygienic conditions & maintenance of stairs is not taking seriously by its authorities.

Orange Train is the best facility for the peoples who live near the Orange Train line. The Government is charging lower fare rates from the passengers.
