I brought in some diamonds from another piece of jewellery seeking for them to be made into a ring. I was told that GS Diamonds do not work with existing diamonds unless certified or inspected so as to make sure there are no issues later on down the track with customers alleging that it wasn’t their diamonds used. I informed the customer representative that I was more than happy to have my diamonds assessed and sign a waiver if need be. They agreed and we began discussing designs, pricing etc. I was told I needed to come back the following week during business hours (having first visited on a Saturday) so the customer representative could take me to their workshop and have their jewellers assess my diamonds. When I subsequently returned, as directed, despite seeing the same customer representative as the first time, there was confusion in the store as to why I had come in to have my diamonds assessed despite having been being instructed to do so. After some whispering between staff members, another customer representative came over with a diamond tester and told me all my diamonds were simulants. I went to another jeweller who immediately inspected my diamonds and tested them and confirmed without hesitation that they were real. Don’t waste your time with GS Diamonds - their customer representatives will waste your time and don’t know what they are doing. Go to Gilan Jewellers instead who actually understand the trade they’re in and will also deliver in a fraction of the time.

Three weeks ago I went to the GS Diamonds store in Sydney to buy an engagement ring for my partner. The store was recommended by two of my friends who had already bought their engagement rings there a three months ago. One of the reasons I chose the store was that my friends mentioned that I didn't need to worry about the date of the proposal, as the store offered a replica of the ring so that I could place the proposal and then return the ring at no cost. I went to the store and chose the ring. The attendant was very helpful and attentive from start to finish. I have no complaints about the service. At the end, the attendant said that the delivery time would be 6 weeks. I said that I would like to propose on the long weekend at the beginning of October (4 weeks) and asked about the possibility of the store providing a replica just for the proposal. To my surprise, the store wanted to charge me an additional cost. I called my friends right away and they confirmed again that they hadn't paid anything and that the store had even offered this option to them. Even though I felt discriminated, I bought the ring and had to redo the plans for the proposal. Note: the ring I bought was more expensive than my friends and I paid the full amount on the day of purchase. I have not received the product. When I receive it, I will update the feedback to talk about the quality of the ring.

Firstly ,Thanks a nice stuff Narguess for helping out the diamond, l am very grateful. l am satisfied with the ring. But when l picked up my ring, l had the worst customer service ever. A very rude ,unprofessional Asian woman wearing a beret. She threw the Gia certificate to me without saying anything, and show me the diamond number without saying anything, l had to guess : is she asking me to check the GIA number. When l nicely asked where the diamond from ,Instead of answering very simple basic question. She showed " CANT BE BOTHERED" put on a LONG FACE TO me again and GAVE ME AN EVIL EYE said :"Did u ask when u bought it?" Sounds like she was blaming on me for asking this question. She couldnt give me the answer,and without saying anything like :have a nice afternoon Her body language was telling me :she is impatient ,sick of her work ,doesnt want to put any efforts ,after l paid money she doesnt want to care about anything, l should just leave. So l back to the store ask to speak with manager, Jessica is very friendly and helpful and told me where the diamond from and l can always clean up the ring for free. And said have a nice afternoon before l leave. Thank you Jessica. As a customer , why do l get blamed and rude attitude by asking a simply question. Why does she put on that long face to me?How come she can just forget her manner.

My partner and I went to GS diamonds first on our hunt for an engagement ring based on the store's incredible google reviews. Having not ever looked at diamonds before, we were initially a bit overwhelmed by all the information and options available. The staff at GS took us through all the various considerations, the process for putting together a custom piece and what the steps would be. At no point did he rush us, try to upsell us or lose patience with our persistent questions. In fact, he told us to absolutely not buy anything that day- to go and look around at all the stores we can because (cheekily) 'he finds that most people come back'. True to form after looking at a range of commercial, boutique and custom jewelers we came back. The manager, Reza, spent literal hours with us trawling the online diamond market picking out the exact best stone at the best price. We were updated as it came in, when the ring was made and when it was ready to be picked up (a rush order of 3 weeks). Sitting here now with this beautiful, sturdy rock on my finger I could not be happier. Looking at other rings I have found absolutely no comparison for price, quality or service to that of GS. (I know this is gushing but I really didn't know how they could live up to these reviews, and appreciated the detail of others myself so there you have it!)

This is the first time I bought a loose diamond, actually for my mum’s birthday, and I have no idea as well as knowledge about this valuable thing. The process of purchasing the Engagement ring was easy. Very helpful when explaining the type of diamond and what you are getting. I paid for the express fee to get it on a particular date so I could propose. So about two weeks wait but did not get a call to tell me if it would be ready on the day or a few days prior that way I would at least know. So I ended up calling them 2 days before the pickup and they still did not know anything about it. I called again 1 day before at 9am and they seem to not know where it was and eventually they called me in the afternoon around 4pm to let me know it will be ready for collection the next day. Also I had transfer all the funds a week prior but when collecting it they did not know if they had received the full payment. And after showing me the diamond I ended up waiting for at least 30mins for them to check if the full payment had been received. The initial process is great but a bit more organization between the staff would also be great. But in the end the Engagement ring I received was very beautiful and flawless looking. More then what I expected in quality. Superb Quality.

I had an exceptional experience with GS Diamonds. I sat down with Sia and she and I worked out the perfect diamond for my budget, she spent a lot of time comparing diamonds and their qualities, eventually we settled on the attached stunning diamond ring. Sia had my best interests at heart and didn't try to upsell to me or push me to blow my budget (as other jewellers I spoke with not from GS Diamonds had tried to do ). Sia was professional and highly knowledgeable. I give my highest recommendation to anyone looking for a Jeweller, Sia at the QVB is the consultant to speak to. I ordered the diamond just before the Covid-19 outbreak and there were set backs in delivering the final product to me due to circumstances beyond the control of GS Diamonds. GS Diamonds kept me informed the entire time about the progress of my diamond ring, their professionalism during these difficult times made me even more grateful for their excellent service. The final product is stunning, my fiancé and I are over the moon about it and the picture below doesn't do it justice. We look forward to buying our wedding rings from GS Diamonds.

These guys are the real deal. Best value and customer service in Sydney. My partner and I were in the store (on what looked to be a busy day) for no more than 10 minutes before a young man named Kyle assisted us. He sat us down and took us through the diamond specs. When we were serious about the purchase he passed us on to Twiiggy. She helped us finalise ie choosing the setting, diamond and final price. About a week later my partner decided she wanted to change the set in, and GS Diamonds reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee as per their policy. However Twiggy was nice enough to waive it upon request. This was late January, we recieved the ring around mid March. Never did we feel uncomfortable or 'snobbed'. The staff were always smiling and Twiggy always made us feel welcome. She always had time for us as we needed to return to the store a few other times. 10/10 experience! Was referred to GS Diamonds by many others because they simply are the best.

I bought an engagement ring two years ago from GS Diamonds QVB because of their great in-store and online experience. However, since their change of management, I noticed that their staff no longer provide the level of customer service they used to. The staff who served me today, Maria seems wanted to complete my transaction asap (to get back to her other paperwork before store closes). Only when I requested, she reluctantly confirmed the GIA number, reissued the invoice after final payment, and checked the correct ring size (by the way she rudely showed you the ring size ‘stick’ without facing you). Not to mention, she wasn’t planning to say thank you (she said it though when I asked for her name). Overall, not a pleasant experience. Lastly, the store promised me to give me a call when the ring arrived. That didn’t happen and I had to call several times to follow up. GS Diamonds - you need to lift your game!

Me and my fiance went to get myself an engagement ring after he proposed over the week since he knew I would love to choose my own ring. We went to Brisbane store as initially we were there just to have a look and decide later throughout the day after visiting different stores. But we didn’t even need to go anywhere else. Even though we didn’t have appointment, the manager kept checking on us to see if we need anything. Later, he appointed us with one of the lovely sales associate who helped us to design my custom ring, talked us through about the ring, different cut, clarity, grades. Absolutely loved her personality and her service. Her name was Madeline. Such a lovely person. Overall experience was great and loved their diamond range and styles. Will be buying the wedding bands as well when we have our wedding next year. Now, i’m just waiting for my ring to be delivered

I recently needed to source a well cut & polished emerald-cut diamond to complete an Opal pendant design I was working on. GS Diamonds were able to produce several unset GIA certified stones for me to view in person at their Sydney QVB location at short notice. The staff I met with were extremely professional and courteous and I was offered some suggestions in relation to the design I was working with at the time - advice which proved useful. I was pleased with their after-sales assistance and more than a few unique designs on display caught my eye at the time. I've worked in the jewellery trade some years ago and I have no reservations in recommending GS Diamonds to first time buyers - or to anyone with a discerning eye that might be seeking engagement rings, finished jewellery or unset stones.

I was really fortunate to deal with Jess during the initial purchase of an engagement ring and later when my fiancé and I purchased our wedding rings. I had the pleasure of being able to design our engagement and wedding rings from start to finish. From the moment of showing GS Diamonds my design, their staff has been more than accommodating to my design. The process was quick and simple; Sia was able to organise what I wanted, with a 3D Cad and printed resin in real life, to ensure the design was what we wanted before the real rings are casted. The engagement ring was beautiful and what was designed that we went back for our wedding bands. Again we were able to design our wedding bands instead of just picking a generic ring out. The wedding band turned out great and we now know that we truly have unique wedding rings that will last for life. i would like to thank Sia and her team for all the astute effort in looking after us.

Managed to have two fantastic experiences with GS diamonds, one being a custom made engagement ring followed up by a custom set of diamond earings for a Christmas present. Both times I was blown away with the customer service recieved from the company not too mention the promptness to my questions. The jewellery itself. The diamond sparkles, the craftsmanship is exquisite and the packaging is a very nice added touch. Delivery was no issue and 100% secure with signature courier, the customer service team even rang the week of to confirm someone would be home to sign for the item along with checking all the postal details. Definitely would recommend this company to anyone looking for quality diamond jewellery!!!! Thank You GS diamonds, I will be shopping again.

We recently bought the wedding bands but the staff has no experience to give the good advice. We went to another shop and we're so happy with the service and good quality rings at this shop. Then we asked GS Diamond to refund and we have called them many times. The staff did not call back or even when they called us back they just said their managers were not available. Many days after we tried to call the QVB store again and the answer they gave us was " the refund is from the accountant not from themselves, so they can't help". It is not professional and irresponsible. Even until now, we have been still waiting for the refund. This is the first but bad experience we had from a store considered as having a good reputation.

I was hoping for the positive experience that so many others have had but unfortunately that wasn't my experience. Whilst the sales attendant was nice and friendly, it was just a really underwhelming experience compared to other appointments that day and not helpful. I wasn't shown any settings, wasn't offered to look at any rings of try any on and when I asked about customisation to look at options for a thinner band I was told the jeweller won't make a ring under 2.2mm. Maybe I went in with unrealistic expectations, but it just wasn't the positive experience I had in my other appointments that day. I ended up buying an engagement ring that day from another jeweller so I was a qualified buyer too.

Great service. I bought my engagement ring and also wedding ring there. Both times the staff were really helpful and recommended some great choices. We went in already having some choices in our mind, but the staff recommended something else to go with the 6 prong engagement ring and it looked much better. My Fiancee accidentally damaged the engagement ring so we sent it back to GS Diamonds and they were able to quickly fix it for us. Would recommend to my friends GS Diamonds. The only thing is that when appointment is booked to view the purchased diamonds, please ensure that the diamonds is in store for the customer to view. I’ve had a few purchases (an engagement ring and wedding bands) from GS Diamonds. Even though I live in Brisbane and I had to buy it online / over the phone, the whole process of purchasing was absolutely smooth and hassle-free. The rings arrived on time, as promised, and with stylish packaging. The staff members that I dealt with were very helpful, friendly and easy to communicate with. And of course, the quality of the product was great, as expected. In short, the whole experience was wonderful and the service they provide is above and beyond.

I have had my eye on GS Diamonds for a while after browsing online as a list of potential places to shop for an engagement ring. Selected a Diamond and ring setting that I liked and thought wold work really well. Got an email and spoke to the sales team about using an alternative diamond as my selection was not as nice as it should be. Ended up only paying a small amount extra and the ring was perfect! GS Have gone above and beyond to support me with finding the perfect engagement ring which my fiance loves. We then returned to purchase a wedding band two years later and received the same great service. For further feedback I would encourage staff to approach people of all appearances. It's pretty obvious how excited staff get whenever someone comes in a suit vs if I'm wearing a tracksuit. I'm the same person just at a different time of the day :)

Bought an engagement and wedding ring from here a few years ago. Staff were lovely, they walked me through the process and helped me tweak one of their designs to suit what I wanted. It has been a few years now and the rings have held up well and still looks amazing. We took it back recently for a small repair and a clean/re-plating and it looks good as new again and the process was very easy and pretty quick. We'll absolutely buy from GS again.

When I let the staff members at GS Diamonds Sydney know I am completely deaf in both ears, they were very supportive and kindest. Did not require an appointment and whole consult and purchase was smooth and hassle-free. Awesome experience with GS diamonds. My partner stays in Sydney and having a branch in Sydney and Brisbane helped us a-lot. We placed our order in Sydney and picked it up in Brisbane. Only issue is they made the wrong size ring, but they offer one free resizing so not the end of the world.
