I have work for ultra wash since June and I have never had any problem with customers staff and customers would talk about how the owner Teresa Potter was a lot to deal with and now I see why . I just learned that she has fired me for calling to see if I worked after she hung up on me due to me calling letting her know that I had a car accident. She did not seem to care at all about my safety she just wanted to make sure her business was taken care of.... I told what was the reason for her firing me and all she could say was she heard I was not happy working there....BUT IF I WAS NOT HAPPY WHY WOULD I BE WORKING THERE.... I honestly don't think she likes Black people if you reach out to all the workers that use to work for her they have a lot to say about her... I did not want to believe it but now I do she is very unprofessional she hangs up in your face,she talks to you like your nothing and she really don't care if you were on your death bed as long as you are at work..... she has no heart for people and that is why the Manger left truth be told she can not keep good workers and that is what her customers tell me....

I requested a drop off for the next day at Gates Ultra Wash and was told it would be ready at noon. Upon arrival my clothes were not folded and ready and when I asked for a discount for part of the service not being provided, the owner Theresa ignored my request over the phone by simply not responding. If I could give less than one star, I would. The staff deflected blame as well by saying they didn’t see that the laundry was supposed to be finished by noon saying that they “Didn’t see the time” which was very clearly marked. Very poor experience. Do not go to this establishment.

The washers are expensive, the bigger dryer doors do not stay close, you have to buy a card to use any of the washers and dryers and the card charges you $1 to purchase. All of the bigger dryers cost 1.25 for only 10 minutes and didn’t dry a comforter (which was by itself) after 20 minutes of drying. This location isn’t open at 7am because I came at 9am and the door was locked with the employee inside and she had to unlock the door so I’m guessing it opens whenever but I wouldn’t recommend coming early.

This place is a ripoff. You have to buy a laundry card which costs $1, the machines do not take cash or card. One machine malfunctioned (the door wouldn’t close) after we paid $8 using the card to start it, put in detergent etc. We were told there was nothing they could do about it. They even accused us of not paying for the machine, like we were trying to steal a wash or something. Oh and if you load too much money on your card, you don’t get a refund. Horrible customer service.

First time here. Thought I would try it out considering it's closer to home. Found that going the extra drive north is worth the trip. This place was Very clean during my experience. The prices however aren't worth it. Cost me $10.00 more to do two small loads and that was mixing towels with just to save on a third washer. Drying is $.50 for ten minutes. Which cost me an extra $3.00. Also, don't bring quarters everything is done with a card you have to pay a $1.00 to get.

Very Clean and we'll ran. Don't expect to use there bathroom. It's as they put it, not working. Which reminds me. Their driers cannot dry 4 pair of jeans in one cylcle you will have to pay twice on a small to normal load, 3 cycles if your a medium to heavy load. Only 2 complaints that I have. Fix your driers or add more time. Don't make me pay for inadequate heat to driers. Washers are great and the facility is very clean.

One thing I must say the washer clean your clothes good the dryer do not dry much unless you put $2.00 in which makes it expensive also my daughter had to use the bathroom and the older woman working there would not let her use it, so I would recommend using the bathroom before you come or you will be using it outside which is truly ghetto. The older woman is rude and seem like she there for a paycheck and that's it.

Yes I thought I came to a good place to wash, but it turned out to be a wasted time and money. The woman supposed to be a manager or not. She was hateful because I complained about my clothes not being dried after I had or deposit more than enough money for drying. The attendant act as if I was stupid and didn't know how much money I deposited for drying. I'll never go there again . The old lady had an attitude.

Very friendly staff here. I like this laundry center because they have newer equipment and I see that they maintain them regularly. They keep the machines and center very clean. I've used other laundromats in the past and have had holes in my clothes from their machines. I've been coming to Gates ultra wash for over a year and my clothes are well cleaned and maintained with NO holes. I highly recommend place.

The wash house attendant is very rude and is never any help! The dryers never work properly and they have no solution for the problem. Terrible laundromat with terrible service. I’m sure they wouldn’t get in business if they wasn’t located directly in the middle of the hood. Would not recommend this location to anyone. If you can drive somewhere else I suggest you do so. If I could give them 0 stars I would!

Walked in headed towards the machine to wash loaded detergent and sheets and comforter then headed to machine for change only to find out after getting change from someone who felt like there phone convo was more important then there job, only accept cards told them which washer after being asked then was told the others would be better after i had said i already loaded my detergent .... i unloaded and left

Hello and I do washing about twice a month I have never had to wait for a machine I've never had to wait for a dryer it is always been a very clean experience going there with a clean restroom to take care of necessary business I continue to go there I have used both self-service features of the laundromat and I have also used the wash and fold services I forget exactly how much they do charge per pound.

The COVID epidemic is over, yet this laundromat still won't let paying customers use the restroom. Employees & management outright LIE to customers about why the restroom is not available. I have spent perhaps thousands of dollars at this laundromat, yet I am lied to and my family made to suffer because management is not capable of operating a business which treats it's customers with respect.

They make you buy a card for $1, that you can only use there. Prices are high, it's $3.30 for a regular wash and $0.50 for 20 mins. dryer, so you'll end up with a remainder balance, that you can't use. They sell soap and fabric softener for a $1 each and you use the card for it as well. I do like that you can use a credit card to load the store card instead of getting cash.

I spent 30 dollars on 3 loads the Second load I put in the washer didn't add the water so the worker had to add water with a bucket this wash house is a no for me never again and the dryers did not dry my clothes all the way so after 30 i was just done with the whole wash house like umm noooo I give it 0 stars but it wont let me post without given a star

This lady works here and if she has a problem with you she will call her nephew up there to disrespect and t threaten to slap women if she is having a bad day. She won’t help you get another dryer or washer if your clothes didn’t wash or dry like you paid for them to do. Be strap and ready for ride and disrespectful patrons of the workers here.

Convenient Location, but the attendants should be replaced by machines. Every last one of the attendants should be fired. Their machines tend to run the cycles without water and an attendant told me to take an empty wash detergent container out of the trash, to fill with water and pure in the machine. Worst Service EVER!

You go to put the money on your card and realize you earned that $5 or free dryer!!!! You walk around that place like you a BOSS! Sticking your card in ppl's dryer and tell em "I got you, You welcome"! Walk off and go play pacman …

Very helpful. They no longer take quarters. You have to get a card there at the wash. That costs 1 dollar. But ask the attendant if they have an old one and you won't have to buy one. The dryer is 1.25 for 10 mins. But about 30 will dry.

I have been doing laundry there for about 2 - 3 years. They use cards, so I don't have to fuss with trying to get quarters. Every 3 weeks I win $ 5.00 on my card. Covers drying for that time. Great place, friendly staff. Great machines.

This place is absolutely wayyyyy to expensive. If i could afford to spend this kind of money on washing clothes than i could afford a personal one at home. Also, the lady at the desk thing is rude as ever an acts like she hates her job.

This place runs hot and cold. Sometimes they are great and sometimes they are really bad. If the restroom is not "available", no other business has a public restroom. Same with the employees, some are good and some are lazy.

It cost to much to dry your stuff 10 mins it doesn't matter how much money you put in I go to other places and for 75 cents I get 24 min here 50 cent or 1.25 you just get 10 min that's crazy

Prices were a little high, but what can you expect? The service was OK. Attendant was never in sight. When she was, she did her job. Building was clean, machines were well kept.

The black older lady that's works here is very rude. She refused to answer any questions without giving an attitude. I wanted to speak to the manager and she refused that.

This place is expensive, the staff is not very helpful, and you can only use their special cards (which cost a dollar themselves) to do business. Not recommended.

Plenty of parking. Reasonable priced with various size machines for all washing and drying. They use reloadable cards to pay that accepts credit cards. A+

No hot water and the attendants don't know the wi fi password. Honestly don't know why I'm still doing laundry here. Galaga/Ms pac man game is gone too.

This is a nice clean laundry mat I go at least once a month my son and I have a chance to bond. Love this place and the ladies that work there.
