We have moved multiple times - normally with big corporate relo movers including one international move, so we have lots of experience with movers. This move was a big one - total pack and unpack, move and overnight hold, spanning three days of work. General Expert Moving totally blew our expectations and did an amazing job for us. David was extremely responsive on the run-up and didn't say "no" to any of our many outlandish requests. Their flexibility to totally work around our quirky needs was the primary reason for choosing this company over others who gave us a less expensive estimate. Michael and the crew worked tirelessly for three days (all in face masks) packing, dissembling, loading, storing, unloading, reassembling and unpacking. After 18 hours total work their crew had the whole move completed with everything unpacked out of boxes, packaging removed and everything in the correct room with all furniture reassembled - a miracle. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others and would use them again for sure.

He diligently took an inventory of everything I would be moving and offered a quote which was accurate to the dollar upon invoicing. Punctual, efficient, responsive, and professional. The staircase at my new apartment was a bit narrow and they took extra care to carry the bed up without scraping anything. Everything was over much quicker than I had anticipated so I had a whole afternoon left with all the furniture and boxes placed where they need to be. The price is definitely on the higher side out of different options but I saved aches and sores in the middle of the semester, not to mention time and headache, so it was all worth it. If you're super strong, healthy, and not very prone to stress you'll be fine with a band of friends or cheaper moving help on apps. If like me you are none of these things, you will really appreciate General Expert. I can imagine this service being even more helpful for larger moves across bigger distances. I have used These folks several times. Each time the crew that did the move was wonderful to deal with. they totally understand the stress related to moving and the need to communicate through out the entire process. They are very professional and personable, they poses the proper people skills needed to make you feel that you will be taken care of. They are very efficient which is important when wanting to keep the cost down. They will disassemble and resemble beds and furniture. I had 4 moves with them and not one thing was damaged. When I decided to move, I asked friends who had moved recently for recommendations. They were right on time, got everything packed and moved even on what was a really cold day. I highly recommend this company. They have helped us with two moves. First, moving my parents from their house of 53 years to a senior living apartment. Second, a move from that apartment to assisted living. In both cases, they packed as well as moved. There is good communication all around within their team and between members and clients. They are very careful with packing and delivering your possession safely. They lower the stress and anxiety for what can be a disruptive change.

General Experts were EXPERT at handling my move. I had a complicated job involving a tightly-packed POD, an apartment building with no parking, and a 2nd floor storage space without large truck access. The job also required rescheduling due to the refusal of the occupying tenant to vacate the apartment I was trying to move into. They were able to reschedule at the perfect time.
