My experience with this office has shown them to be unprofessional and hard to work with. I had a bad experience, and tried to file a complaint with the office. I called in 3 times before I finally spoke with the office manager, despite leaving two messages and being assured I'd hear from someone. When I told her that I'd like to add their inaccessibility to my issue, she tried to argue with me and say that I'd only left one message and that it was forwarded to the doctor. Unprofessional and rude, in my opinion. I feel that I should have gotten a call back sometime in the 2 weeks I was trying to contact them, at least letting me know that the doctor had received my message and would get back to me. When I finally spoke with the doctor, I told him my complaint, and he immediately brushed it off. I let him know that I wasn't trying to pursue any legal action, I just wanted to inform him of what happened so that it doesn't happen to anyone else in the future. He was very defensive, and told me that he would not accept that he'd missed anything. Again, unprofessional and rude. I realize he needs to protect himself from lawsuits, but I was just trying to voice the fact that he missed something and I ended up suffering quite a bit because of it. I would hope that a good doctor would at least hear my concerns, and take them into consideration. Bottom line: avoid this place if you want thorough service and professional courtesy.

Dr Papas had seemed to not remember my first visit, considering that he told me to see him in 2 weeks, and had referred me to a doctor for a back injury I had gotten on October 12th. I had told him about the injury my first visit, considering it was the reason I went. He referred me to a back doctor and asked that I return in 2 weeks. Thats what I did. But when I went in it seemed like he couldn't remember why he wanted me to come back. I didnt think much of it until he asked me directly why he referred me to the back doctor and I had to in person again explain my injury. It seemed like a red flag enough to where I mentioned it to my wife. I also mentioned disability and he couldn't remember the details, even though his office mailed the paper work. I dont care to write reviews, but this seemed like a sincere thing to put out there.

If only Dr. Papa spent more time and got more involved with the patient. Sent in the wrong prescription after a conversation specifically expressing which prescription needed. Most likely will not be returning. In the process of finding a new doctor. He is a nice man just looking for a better service. UPDATE: Don’t know who’s running this office but once again while trying to correct a wrong prescription they keep sending in the WRONG Prescription. I’m not saying it’s Dr. Papas but essentially indirectly he needs to hire better office staff/management. And when I call in please don’t make it sound like it’s my fault when it’s clearly your fault. The pharmacy employee mentioned this always happens from this office. Means only one things. Incompetent uncaring staff.

George Papas “doctor” lacks customer service skills. I felt like cattle walking in & out. Doctor found a lump on my back and said it could be a lipoma but let’s get you scheduled with dermatology & a general surgeon to have it removed. It’s been almost 2 weeks and I haven’t heard a word from him or his team. Called them and they told me they are still processing the referral without any follow up. I came here because I saw their review rating but it’s pretty clear these have been bought or posted by bots in order to boost the rating and get more clients in the door. If you’re looking for customer service, great communication and a simple follow up save your time and avoid this doctor.

Walked out of this consultation with what I thought was a prescription. Realized it was just a referral a couple of weeks later and called the office. They said they would mail the prescription to my military address. It's been 3 months and still no prescription and not so much as an apology. The doctor also said he would only give me a three-month prescription and it was my fault because I chose to move overseas. I serve my country abroad and have lived overseas since 2014. It was a slap in the face.

Finally!!! … a wonderful competent and focused and attentive General Practitioner! … and the reception from the front office and nursing support could not have been a more efficient, pleasant, and professional experience …. I have not had such a fine time locating and working with a physician and his staff in the San Diego area in a long long time …. I could not have had a more satisfying and pleasant experience!

Dr. Papas is fantastic. He's very straightforward and doesn't sugarcoat things. All his questions are direct to help get you the care you need. I've had doctors doubt me when it comes to my health, but he never once questioned me, and just believed me when I told him what was going on. He's efficient and gentle and thorough, and I always loved his visits.

Dr. Papas has been my Grandmother’s Primary MD for 30+ years. He has helped her through many of life’s challenges and she’s now a cancer survivor! She highly recommends him and his staff and feels he’s very thoughtful, complete, knowledgeable and careful, especially during this COVID-19 crisis.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Dr. Papas was knowledgable and there was very little wait time. I had the best experience I've ever had with a blood draw. Believe me I have had many bad experiences and this was so good I didn't even bruise. Thank you for the care and concerns.

Dr. Papas was thorough and knowledgeable. He listed to the issues I was having and presented options for solutions. The nurse who drew my blood was very gentle, I can honestly say it was the most comfortable and least painful blood sample I've ever had taken.

Just started coming here. But so far it's been a stress less check in process (as a new patient) and there wasn't a long line or wait to be seen. Staff was courteous and friendly and the PA who saw me was extremely helpful answering my questions.

I really appreciate having Dr Papas as my local GP. His office is conveniently located and the staff is very accommodating to take fit me in when I need to see the doctor. Dr Papas is thorough and friendly; definitely recommended.

I came to Dr Papas because I have been coughing for a few months. Dr Papas was very nice to me but neither dig very deep -he just prescribed me antibiotics- without investigating further nor sent me to a specialist.
