We wanted to visit Egypt, but didn't quite know where to start and who to ask for help. I came across Getaway Africa Travel who also specialize in trips to Egypt and Annelie was there to help! She made sure the process went very smooth and curated the most perfect trip for our needs. Just before our trip we got engaged :) We were very excited to celebrate our engagement on our upcoming trip. To our surprise, Annelie informed us that they have upgraded our hotel in Cairo, Nile cruise and resort at the Red sea as a congratulations and made it extra special for us as a newly engaged couple. We were so happy to receive the news and were super grateful and even more excited! Once we arrived in Egypt, we were blown away by how truly magical this country really is. Each site we visited were remarkable, and only gets better and better with no words to describe the overwhelming feeling when you are there. We couldn't believe how fortunate we were to be able to visit such a beautiful place. This was truly the most spectacular holiday of our lives and we will never forget the special memories and friends we made. Bali was absolutely amazing using Getaway Africa - their package was very well priced compared to going direct, we normally book direct for any travel but don't regret using them since it covered flights, transfers and accommodation for 7 days with breakfast daily. I would highly recommend checking the rest of the activities that appeal to you and making direct enquiries...most didn't need prior bookings and there are safe (uber-type) options for travelling around the island/s. The hotel was fitting for what we were looking for - some lazy days on the beach with cocktails, a spa, good food and easy access to tourist attractions. We had an incident the one day where we couldn't get into the hotel room due to it being locked with a message saying we should go to reception, on arrival the manager advised that it was hotel policy to lock the room if any valuable items or money are left unattended - which we really appreciated. The added bonus was being granted access to the spa facilities for use to refresh before travelling to the airport in the evening after checking out earlier that morning.

I cannot put into words how impressed I am with the services of Deline De Jager. In the space of three months, she has made arrangements for three very big trips for myself and my family. One to Mauritius in December, one to Australia coming up in March, and one BIG one for my whole family to travel to the United States of America. She has handled all our requests, made constructive comments, given very good opinions and suggestions - all with a very pleasant demeanour and a smile in her voice. Just WOW! Getaway Africa arranged our Honeymoon in March 2023. We had an absolute BLAST in Lombok and Bali. All the arrangements were perfectly organised and I was even surprised by my Hubby and Gert (owner) with a special stay at Katamaran hotel in Lombok. The highlight of our honeymoon was the Gili Islands snorkelling trip, where we explored the crystal clear turquoise waters and we made friends with some friendly sea turtles! I can highly recommend Getaway Africa and the tropical islands for a blissful breakaway

We had the most perfect honeymoon! We are so impressed with how well everything was organized and how timely it all was. The drivers arrived on time, the hotels were so accommodating, and all the locations we visited were breathtaking! We really went to the best tourist locations and saw so many wonderful things and really had the best experiences! Getaway Africa made our honeymoon the most special and memorable experience yet! And we will definitely be using them again for our next trip!

We are very pleased with our stay and our tour in Namibia organised by Getaway Africa. Berron was an excellent guide and driver. And driving on gravel roads or sand can be quite difficult! The Namib Naukluft Lodge was really nice. People were extremely friendly and the food was excellent. Not the kind of food you expect in the desert! The payment with an international credit card could be improved.

Thank you Getaway Africa for another seamless experience. You certainly enhanced our Europe tour experience. We enjoyed our stay at the hotels recommended by Annelie and we did not face any issues with our flight bookings. We highly recommend Getaway Africa for a well crafted travel itinerary.

Everything was planned to a T. Flights, accommodation, transfers were all perfectly coordinated. I also appreciated their flexibility by letting us select our preferred places to stay. I will definitely be using Getaway Africa again in future to manage the nitty gritty of itinerary planning.
