Was trying to not prompt a reply from the unprofessional front of house manager, but since he replied I will edit my review. Accused my partner and I of looking for a freebie when I had already paid £60+ for standard fare and a barrage of offensive comments and multiple errors in our short visit. A medium well done steak was served initially, then it had to sit a further 5 minutes before they realised they had not brought the veg. The front of house manager looked at the steak and agreed it was way over cooked, then later went back on his word to suit his story. The second was indeed better, as ordered, but he lied saying he had made us aware it came with potatoes anyway (he hadn't, just said veg) and was happy for me to order way more food than one could eat, hence asking them to take the then cold and unnecessary chips off the bill. He ruined that part of our evening, as I was then sat for 10 mins without food and then started boasting about being in the trade for 20+ years and accusing us as previously stated. The other staff were lovely, the second steak was fine, as I told him, but was so angered by his attitude and comments that by that point I just wanted to get out of there. When you're paying £20+ for a steak you expect it to be right, no matter how busy a place may be, and getting defensive and offensive. An apology goes a long way, still charging for food (chips) that could not be eaten and were taken back, just shows profit over everything, including manners.

Tiny Italian restaurant in Pudsey, but don't let its small size fool you. The quality of the food is better than my Sicilian mother's cooking. You'd think I'd be afraid to admit this, but no she will admit this herself and her lasagna is good. Gigi's food is to die for. Hell if it wasn't such good value I'd probably kill for it too. Best damn affogato you could ask for, and yeah it's not hard. Just put espresso over ice cream and you're done, right? Yeah. But like... it's GOOD espresso over GOOD ice cream.

We'd heard rave reviews about this place and it lived up to expectations. Ate at 8pm on a Saturday and it was full. It's only a small restaurant so it made for a really nice atmosphere. Our starters were from the specials board - spicy king prawns & mussels, and spicy meatballs. Both were absolutely delicious. For the mains, I had spaghetti carbonara, which was possibly the best carbonara I've ever had. And my wife had macaroni della casa, which was also gorgeous. Also, they have Moretti on tap, which is a winner. And a nice-looking wine list. Finished with homemade tiramasu for dessert, which was the icing on the cake. Also, the owner came over to chat to us at various stages throughout the night. He made us feel really relaxed and welcome from the off and we had a nice chat once it was quieter late on. Can't recommend this place enough - clearly a lot of very regular customers, which says it all.

In the past decade+ that I have been going, their consistency with the highest quality of food and service has never once slipped. They are extremely accommodating with such authentic, wonderful food. They have a variety of options that can cater to everyone's requirements. The atmosphere is always buzzing, lively and inviting. For such a small place, GiGi's gives out so much enticing and great energy. I could not recommend this place enough. What a fabulous little place this is! Friendly and cosy with amazing staff; namely Josh who managed 23 covers singlehandedly this lunchtime (including 2 parties of 8 and a birthday) and the service was still absolutely fantastic. Really personable chap with a great sense of humour and such a pleasant demeanour, we would return based on that alone. Pavel, the chef who cooked our meals, was also great both in the quality of the food and his personality, thanks again. Good quality food, very well cooked and the portions are great. We had starters, mains and dessert and the quality was equally good with each course! Very reasonably priced too and we're genuinely looking forward to going again. Can't recommend it highly enough!! Was the worst food I’ve ever seen/eaten. I tried this place out of confidence due to suffering with my eating and now I understand why I have those problems!! We ordered meatballs, 2 bolognese pizzas and a portion of chips, SIMPLE ENOUGH! We got non cooked chips that look like they’ve been sat about (some were hard), the bolognese pizzas had hardly any sauce on, and NO CHEESE never mind a crust! The pizza wasn’t cooked properly, the full thing was stuck to the box and you couldn’t take it out because half the dough was stuck on it. I am appalled by the appearance of the food never mind the taste! I would not recommend and I will definitely avoid in the future!!

Great service and lovely interior. My only criticism is I had the calamari fritti and it was a little bland, could've done with more seasoning and been more fried. Wasn't unpleasant though. Had the lobster ravioli for my main and it was incredible. The sauce was nice, creamy and delicious and the lobster tasted amazing and had a great texture. With it being a ravioli, I imagine it's hard to stop it becoming too mushy but this was perfect. Tried one of my mums pate stuffed mushrooms too and it was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend. Feel bad about what I had to say about the calamari fritti but can imagine it's usually flavourful. Everything else about the night from the beer to the service from staff to the lobster ravioli was bang on. Incredible. May the best team win on Sunday though ;)

Great food, quality staff, just a bit noisier than I like. Others may well love the place and say it has a great atmosphere- it all depends what you like. I do appreciate the specials board which gives more choice over the standard menu. We all enjoyed our food, and the service was good. We will be back as it is certainly one of the best restaurants in this area.

Great restaurant, great food, great atmosphere! Only thing that lets this place down is when it comes to the bill..... all I can advise is to keep a close eye on the items as they tent to add on a glass of wine or a beer here and there hoping you don’t notice, sadly we did notice and this was 3 times in the trott..... we had two bottles of WHITE WINE and some blue a GLASS of RED randomly appeared on the bill.... when quizzed, they tried to say it wasn’t wine but was a different item to compliment my meal..... I shouldn’t have to dread the moment the bill comes every time I visit and I shouldn’t have to request for items to be removed that I haven’t had. It’s the only thing that lets the place down as everything else is perfect!!!

I have an illness which allows me 2g of salt per day. So I have to be careful with food that contains salt (which is ALL FOOD). However Gigi did me proud and for the first time, 5 years, the whole staff in the restaurant adhere to my requirement of, NO SALT. I was amazed how they cooked everything for me and even, reminded me of "some salt" in what I'd ordered. Thoroughly enjoyed my food and the service. I would highly recommend this fantastic restaurant, with its food and services . Well done Gigi . Thank you for making my birthday and special day.

My daughter was recomended this small bistro by some friends, some of the reviews were negative but i feel unjustified. We were 5 and all had starters and mains and the bill was a very resonable £119 including drinks. I had patè stuffed mushrooms my son and son in law had mozzerella and my wife bruchette they were really good sized portions i was impressed. ( my son tried stealing one see pic). I had a pizza my wife salmon pasta my son had lasagne and son in law had sword fish ravioli they made a one off mushroom creamy pasta dish for my daughter . Parking is easy dont hesitate to try it but do make a reservation it gets busy

This is a small family restaurant, the food is absolutely spot on. Its not fancy, but sometimes you don't want fancy. Just great tasting food. Service was quick even when it was busy. You will never leave this restaurant hungry, restaurant portions are always ample. Glad to live near this!

Everything about Gigi's is amazing. From The moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave, the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, the wine selection is fantastic and the food. Our favourite Italian restaurant. The food is always good, very authentic fare. The service is great, there's no rush and no undue delay between courses. The staff are very loyal and have worked at the restaurant for a long time. It's great to go in, be recognised, known by name and received as a valued regular diner. It's not the cheapest place to eat, but as the old adage goes "you get what you pay for" and it's worth every penny. Highly recommended.

Lovely little place and nice food. The menu is very much all tomato sauce based. We actually prefer pasta in a white sauce, but this wasn't on the menu. The food that we did get was lovely and well presented. Service was quick and friendly. The menu is reasonably priced. What wonderful place. We had a late lunch, the food was excellent it was a fast clean service and I was surprised how busy it was. I don't live locally and I'd never heard of it but I'm glad I do now. Gigi’s has a lovely family vibe, we live just across the road and it’s a perfect spot to head for casual dining but good quality food. The staff are attentive and welcoming, and we never leave hungry! The steak is particularly good. I’d recommend it for a midweek treat, or if you’re looking for somewhere reliable and cosy to eat with friends. They keep it simple but do it well.

I would like to say a big thank you to Nad, Lorenzo and Luka for making tonight enjoyable, My parent and I enjoyed ourselves. Nad, Lorenzo and Luka are really friendly and the restaurant has a good atmosphere. Went heat for my friends 50th birthday, staff rude and when my husband said I’ll share a bottle of wine with our friends the owner (Italian from Bramley) comment is something about 3 people share a bottle of wine, then it was time to pay the owner came to the table to sort out £31.40 in total please, give him £35 NEVER came back with change. Cosy little Italian... had lunch with a friend... veggie pizza was fab on tastebuds if a little difficult to cut up (arthritic wrists) with ordinary lunch knife. Rate the food and service 5* but the drinks were disappointing ie soft drinks and mixers served from large plastic bottles not a good combination.
