I had no idea who Gillie and Marc were, but they have twice brought me to tears. Once, only a few weeks ago when meandering through London, I literally stumbled upon a baby elephant… and then another and another… twenty orphaned baby elephants and a giant matriarch placed throughout Spitalfields Market took my breath away. Each with a name and each with their reason for survival in the hands and hearts of the extraordinary David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. I returned home, looked up the exhibit on line, and before I knew it my husband and I were choosing one of the limited edition bronze orphans to adopt into our home. A week later our absolutely lovely Mukkoka sits on our entry table. And every time I see him I smile. The second time, was long before. When in New York City, I, like so many others were blown away by the jarring impact of The Last Three rhino sculpture in Astor Place. I cried because of how beautiful it was and I cried because of the devastating reason it was there. I am so honored to now have a piece of gorgeous art in our home from such an incredibly talented duo, and because through their art, Gillie and Marc contribute much needed good into this world. Choosing subjects to raise awareness and instigate action toward positive changes. Their team have been a delight to work with and now that I know who Gillie and Marc are, I am enthralled, so grateful, and a fan for life!

What a delight to be able to view these majestic sculptures right on our door step here in Docklands. Not only are they beautiful, they are also thought provoking in that provide information to make us all aware that unless we take action these incredible animals will not survive. The artwork is stunning and the service is great. I have made a number of purchases over the past couple of years and the gallery kept to their high standards every time. The only issue I seem to have at the moment is that the e-newsletter seems to have stopped coming to me but they are doing their best to fix this. We visited the ‘Wild Table of Love’ in Paternoster Square, London on Wednesday 21st July. Absolutely amazing. The craftsmanship involved in creating this piece of artwork is beyond incredible. The intricate detail of the animals and the table setting is just breathtaking. It is all so tactile. Notwithstanding the message it gives to all of us. Do go and see it if you get the chance.

Interesting art. However the cow hide on the floor was an unpleasant and unexpected surprise, particularly for people who make a living from animal artwork. I would have thought they would have had a more compassionate view. A real turn off.
