This place is clean and cheap. I stayed here for 9 nights in April 2016. The cleaners do an excellent job. At some stage in the past someone spent energy decorating this place with themed rooms, and from the outside it looks somewhat picturesque with its red brick and white painted columns, doors and sash windows. However, since then it's gone downhill - look a bit closer and you'll see blistered paint, extremely poor repairs, and other signs of downgrading like empty cutlery/crockery drawers in the "kitchenette". One of the guys on the front desk obviously has no interest whatsoever in his job - very curt replies to my questions, and one night I met a middle-aged couple standing outside who asked me plaintively "how can we get into our room? We just want to get into our room" - he had just left them standing there for some reason. The noise from the nearby large roads might annoy some guests. But, if you just want somewhere clean and cheap, I can recommend this place.

JULY 19, 2020: You get what you pay for. Easy after hours self check-in facility & free parking. Despite the heater struggling to heat anything further than 1.5 metres the broken tap which sprayed profusely in every direction & one half of a working electric blanket-- it could have been far worse. WARNING: A deposit of $50 for damages is required in addition to the room rate (returned in three days at the very least). Its almost been a week now & finally an email was sent through exclaiming that, no refund had or would be released until 'items were returned' & provided no additional information or description whatsoever. We had checked out two hours (2hrs) hours early & the room was left exactly how it was found with no damages or missing items except of course the complimentary cosmetics & consumables (which were very scarce) [UPDATE ON DEPOSIT REFUND TO FOLLOW]

booking confirmed online one room 2pm check in and two breakfasts. On arrival at 2.15pm I was told that my room was not cleaned yet could i wait, after explaining I have a wedding to get ready for was given a key for another room, which i went to and unlocked only to find the chain on the door because it was already booked to someone else. after going back to reception, was given yet another room that was still being cleaned and had to wait half an hour for. After all that had to re book breakfast, because the reception staff had no idea what they were doing. Breakfast was terrible dining room felt like you were sitting in someones living room. The whole place was run down and old. I would not recommend this place and it does not deserve a star rating.

Booked this place last minute as I was escaping a domestic violence situation and had nowhere to stay. Shortly after I booked my family went ahead and bought me a flight to come home, so I tried to alter the booking for just one night. First I called and was directed to do it online, which I did 24 hours before arriving. The host never responded, zero communication. Airbnb did nothing to help and basically told me it was up to the non existent hosts discretion. They effectively robbed me of $628 at a tremendously stressful time in my life. Absolutely shameful. The room was pretty terrible but at least I had a roof over my head albeit a very expensive roof.

I had a pleasant, cozy and quiet stay. The staff were so friendly and prompt. The manager was very professional! Their phone line allows timely communication. Check-ins are straight forward with electronic and in-person services available. After hour check-in is no problems either. The room was very cozy, secure, well-lit and well furnished. Everything was spotless really. All the amenities mentioned on the booking were available to use and in working condition. I heard that some rooms are suited for people with disabilities as well. Another big thing to mention is that the location is really great! I'm already looking forward to my next stay with them.

Over priced basic room with rubbish left over from weeks or months of previous guests. All their empty milk packets, used tea bags etc in a pile at eye height above the kitchenette cupboard. I told cleaner when we arrived, nothing was done, and also upon checkout but they couldnt do anything about it. Went for breakfast after leaving and interrupted multiple times by reception saying we hadnt handed the key in and we would be charged. The staff member was very hard to deal with on phone, so had to drive back and explain again. After waiting in office, explaining for a fifth time the key was handed to her, she checked drawer and found the missing key. Incompetent. Wasted an hour. Wouldnt even offer discount on our room. Pathetic.

This was the 3rd or 4th stay we have had and I must say it will be our last , Upon check in we noticed we didn't have any towels so rang and told them they gave us the code for another room and told us to take them from there . Walked into our room and it was cold and drab , the curtains didn't shut properly so was awake extra early as the light shone through , the carpet looked like someone had fun with some bleach , TV remote was broken and had to use the buttons on the side of the tv last but not least we went to have showers this morning and to my horror we didn't have any hot water . I will not not be staying here again .

Staff was amazing. Check in took a bit with the electronic tab at the front, however, easy enough. I downloaded the app and my phone became my room key. Very nice feature. Also get a pin code for the door if you prefer. Room was a bit dated and a coat of paint would be nice. Room was clean and bathroom was newer and very clean. The water pressure was that of a torrential downpour and was awesome. Would I return? No doubt in my mind. In a heartbeat Really nice property and easy access. Parking can be a bit tight, but everyone made it work. Awesome job. Keep it up. Definitely see you again

Staff/owner was friendly. Outside grounds we clean. The 24 hour checkin kiosk, bits were stuck into place with tape. Curtains in the room were too long for effective blockout of the traffic lights and the motel kights that stay on all night. Mismatched furniture and dinnerware. Mould in the shower. Wet carpet near the bathroom. Carpet starting to Frey near bathroom. Worn patches through the floor. No cable tv. You can hear the people upstairs. However a comfortable bed. Needs a much needed update for the money you pay. Not good value.

….SO DISAPPOINTING! Room was musty and dank…. until I was able to prise open the bathroom window. Hot water tap in shower-stall came off in my hand…. therefore not able to utilise. On moving the bedside table to access power-points…..filthy! Bed was comfy but I awoke covered in flea-bites. Carpet was stained and the complimentary milk in the ‘fridge was old and curdled. My friends and I stayed the Australia Day Long Weekend. The staff (I think their names were Steve & CJ) were very pleasant to deal with. CJ in particular accommodated our needs as much as possible, even getting us some ice for our warm wine and letting us into our room when we accidentally locked the key inside. The location is fantastic if you're heading to The Village Green Hotel for a night out. The rooms are a little outdated, but are clean and comfortable.

It appears that this place has had a change in ownership and the new manager is amazing. It is nice to have a human face behind everything. The staff at the desk are very professional, responsive and helpful! The room is clean and well equipped. The location is also unbeatable, as there are shops (inc. a KFC) within walking distance and the Glen Shopping Centre is only minutes away. I would highly recommend this place and I will definitely come again!

A decent place to stay. I have to say I have been going on work in Glen Waverley for a long time. This is a special finding of mine as it is cheap however antique hotel. Each room is themed that I happened to stay in "Pairs by night room" which leave me a very good sleep in the night. The location is perfect, there are many good restaurant in walking distance and the freeway is just around corner. The service is perfect, room is clean and tidy, price is reasonable. Highly recommend.

Staff/owner was friendly. Curtains in the room were too long for total blackout of traffic lights and motel lights. Mismatched furniture and dinnerware. Mould in the shower. Wet carpet from the bathroom being cleaned or previous stayer. Carpet coming away from the edges. Worn patches throughout the flooring/carpet. You can hear other people in other rooms. Not worth the money we paid

Bad communication didn't mention they were not pet friendly yelled at my mother when asked where my car went as she was missing when we got back to the room old and drab wouldn't sleep there slept in my car and left the next day as I didn't feel comfortable there and they wanted me to leave because I wanted to report what had happened they said I threatened them and abused them which is in accurate and untrue very unprofessional

Seems like this motel is now under new management and my experience here has been great beyond my expectation! Very cozy stay with clean rooms and comfortable bed. Staff here are all professional, friendly and respectful! It is also a great location, close to Glen Shopping Centre. Cannot be more perfect as a motel choice for couples to stay here! Highly recommend!!

My husband and I quite often stay here, and the rooms have always been clean and tidy. Except this time the room was not clean, the curtains were terrible,mirrors uncleaned bench tops sticky and dust everywhere. Not happy with the room especially under the ccovid And people walking around outside the rooms with out masks on.

Owners are very welcoming and just lovely to deal with. Check in is very easy. Only thing I would say is the owners didn’t make any attempt to get rid of one very bad and disruptive guest while we stayed. Facilities in the room are decent for what it is. Room was comfortable and had what we needed. Would stay again.

Staff very friendly. A bit concerned whether rooms getting cleaned properly.Cleaners use shopping trolleys to stock the clean towels and another trolley for cleaning products. Health and safety issue I would think.Rooms old need updatting.Was a good price so get what you pay for I guess.Close to shops,pub.Free 24 hour movie channel false advertising, no movie channels.Cheap but average.

Attention: Avoid this place at all costs. Mattresses are in a very poor condition to the point that it causes severe back pain. Located close to a main highway and there is non-stop traffic noise throughout all the night, including emergency services. The worst part is the unfriendly and unpleasant Chinese receptionist. Do yourself a big favour and find anything else. Never Again!!

When arriving we had all dishes in the rack drying and some type of sauce all over the Bench, wasn't very happy considering I paid for the family room and I had x1 lot of soaps I shouldn't have to do someone else's dishes in a room that I paid for and clean a room before I could sit down definitely wasn't happy

The room was drab. Only one chair to sit at the bench. Television remote did not work. Went to have a shower in the morning only to find that no water came out. Rang to let them know after we arrived home. Told they would ring back. No response. Not worth $150 for the night.

Booked the double room (last room on right. Dusty, cobwebs all over roof. Dirty smelly kettle and toaster. Had to go across the road to 7-11 for coffee. No teaspoons anyway!. No apology when these things were mentioned, in fact no acknowledgement of complaint at all. Very disappointed. Plus corners of room not vacuumed.

The room we stayed in was in poor condition (broken curtains, old furnishing...), clearly different from what you can see on the website. Noise goes through walls and you can hear road traffic in the room. In brief, I would not recommend. In my opinion you can find significantly better in the surroundings for slightly more money.

The Glen Inn is the best Motel I've stayed at, the Staff are very great, respectable Team. The Motel has very top teir hygiene, and is extraordinarily accomidating. I felt very comfortable when I was here. Thank You very much Glen Inn staff.

Rude, stole my personal INFORMATION from TRIVAGO. Room was not made up for 3 consecutive days, only once I made it clear I wanted fresh linen and towels were they provided. Young arrogant and unqualified amateurs running this business. Condolences to the Owners.

A country style motel in a metro suburb. There is no service desk and everything at the booking in stage is electronic. The room was clean but it is dated. The curtains could do a better job of blocking out the morning Sun. It was serviceable. Great location.

What a dump . Cob webs greated us at the door .Wasn't any better inside. Odd bedside tables . Lacking towels. Well overdue for alot of maintance. Healthy weeds ( 6 foot tall ) Uncomfortable bedding. Self contained unit with no washing machine. I could go on

You get what you pay for. Room wasn't 100% clean but bearable. Location is great. Nice n close to home. We got upgraded from a 3 star room to a 4 star so cannot comment on them. Service was very good. That was the highlight of the stay.

Whoa! The room had a urine stench. The tv had no aerial which meant no tv. The Wi-Fi was free but guess what? Yup, no Wi-Fi. The telephone was a prop to contact the staff at reception who weren't even on the premises. Dayuuum.

Great stuff, rooms have everything you need. Feel excited to got a free upgrade to a so called themed room which loves the atmosphere with Paris by night. Price was reasonable compared with others in Glen Waverley.

Very clean well laid out for a comfortable stay overnight. Neighbours a bit noisy though until after midnight and only 1 towel. Overall very convenient.
