This place used to be great when Lester was there but seriously, it has lost favour with me. During my last visit my treatment was very ordinary leaving me feeling they didn't know what they were doing. My foils were taken off too soon and the atmosphere of the salon was disorderly and chaotic. They had elevator music playing and all Lester's amazing wall pictures had been removed. I go to Smart cuts in Hastings now- At $70 for foils and a trim, it's less than half I paid at Global- $165

I had my hair cut by Kim back in January holidays and I was very pleased with my cut and style. She was very professional and gave me some good advice on looking after my hair. I would go back there again in my holidays.

Kim actually listens to what I want, takes the time to explain the process and understands hair. Her warm, caring and professional manner is why I will always keep coming back.
