I have been going here for over 7 years because of the friendly staff, great specials (love the facials) and professional treatments. The space is cosy and extra attention is given during facials to make you feel relaxed (nice music, doona for warmth, no chatter if you don't feel like it). I have seen Mary and Ann-Marie for most of my appointments and can speak for the brazilians, spray tan (I'm pale and am always happy with the light touch) eyebrow/eyelash tinting and facials. I also buy Dermalogica products as they do specials and are generous with samples. Finally, you can take your child if you need to which is a big help.

Glow Girl is a special place. A quirky charm that makes you feel home. Skilled women who do even the most painful wax jobs in a way that puts you at ease. I just love the fish tanks in the main rooms. Even the way they manage with children is effortless and charming. They love helping people and it just shows through in their work. My treatments have been waxing and tanning. Both have been excellent to the point I have given gift vouchers away as presents and my girlfriends have embraced the place as well. I like this place because of its people. It works for me, and I suspect most people in Newtown and suurounds.

Anita and the Glow Girl team are the best! I highly recommend them for all beauty services. They are professional, on time, the rooms are clean, procedures are well priced, and they provide a friendly, personalised service. I especially love the face/scalp massage you are given when getting your lashes or brows tinted - a bonus but it keeps me coming back! During COVID they have been super professional - I have no safety concerns at all. You wear a mask the whole time, hands are sanitised and temperature taken upon arrival, and shoes are left at the door. Thanks Glow Girl!

I've been going to Glow Girl for over 5 years now. I usually get Anne-marrie who works there to treat me. She does amazing facials, eyebrow shaping and eyelash tints. I also get the occasional waxing done by her, and it's always done as delicate as it can be. Also had my wedding a year ago and got my spray tan, and pre-wedding prep done here too. Was so good, I sent all my bridesmaids there too! This is by far the best salon in the area... I've tried them all. I have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone.

Have been going to see Anita at Glow Girl for years and will do so for years to come. I get my eyebrows done regularly here, it's a good, reasonable price for a very good job, particularly as I don't like super thin brows! The facials are also ah-mazing! The products smell amazing and it's so relaxing, especially the face massage. The salon is clean and they're always on time, Anita is kind of like Newtown personified, so enjoy the local atmosphere and great playlists as you get beautifed.

Anita was friendly and welcoming and did a good job of tinting my eye lashes. She also gave a lovely massage around the eye area while waiting for the dye to set. On top of that, she also tidied up a few stray eyebrows free of charge which was a very nice touch! I would recommend.

Absolutely amazing!! Anita did a fantastic job! I have really sensitive skin and have had so many issues in the past with other salons not listening to my needs. Anita made me feel so comfortable, listened to and very pampered! Cannot recommend Glow Girl enough!

Was planning on making an appointment only to find Glow Girl supports segregation and discrimination. I find their attitudes to be beyond offensive. In a time where we should support small business, I unfortunately cannot support this business.

I have been going to Glow Girl for almost 6 years and despite the name they don't mind treating men either. The staff are super friendly and always greet you with a smile. They often have specials which is also beneficial to your hip pocket.

Always so friendly, down to earth and professional. No double dipping for waxes (suprising how many salons still do that) and pretty pain free! It took me quite a few salons to get a goodie - so would definitely recommend.
