This is my 4 visit at Glowwell spa and I can surely say they are a professional Day spa. Arriving at the salong they have the products layout so they clients can decide which massage oil and body scrub they prefer depending on which body treatment,was booked and they also ask if they something specefic you would like the therapist to know before your treatment so they wouldn't be anyne misunderstanding throughout your treatment ☺ even the therapist while performing treatments would ask if everything is ok The 3 treatment I booked were Bodyscrub 45 ,Relax massage 60min & Glowwell Lift Up Facial 65.had the same therapist she was excellent just like all the other Spa& Beautician that are employed they. Big thanks to therapist Sangmo for a fantastic & relaxing treatment . Thanks Glowwell for professional service This was my 2: visit at Glowwell spa this Tim I booked 3hr Bodyscrub, 40 min relaxing massage 90min facial 65min. I'm most pleased and the beautician therapist was very kind and caring asking if everything was OK and the spa therapist was also the same . Therapist are professional and I can'nt wait to be visiting Glowwell again for a booking of 4hr next ⏲ The only thing I noticed is that went i said bye the receptionist didn't say welcome back ,it's a just a small word ,but it feels so great to hear it:). Music I would have liked to hear more meditation music, but that is just my opinion. But with all of that said I ve been to 2other beauty salon in Amsterdam and Glowwell is Absolutely the best

Modified from 4 to 5 stars, after feedback from the owner, as I appreciated the dedicated customer care and the completeness of the response. I had not understood the reservation had to be done online to leverage the discount. I am sure my son and his girlfriend will be again your customers in the near future! -------------------------- I gave as a birthday present a couple massage to my son and his girlfriend and I created a personalized voucher for the present, based on the description that I found on the website: "Duration: 60 minutes session (plus 10 minutes room preparation time)" They booked and had their massage yesterday and were happy about it, with the only exception of the duration, which was 50 min, as they arrived on time for the appointment and they left exactly one hour later. Maybe it would be a good idea to update your description to reflect the actual duration, so to avoid false expectations. Also the 5% discount that is stated on your website if you pay cash at the time you get there was not applied. ---- I posted this review also directly on the webside of Glowwell

Very disappointing! It can be barely called a spa, it’s just a place we’re you can get mediocre massages. Furthermore, the hygiene of the place is questionable (towels, the sheets and the slippers for the shower) and the products that they use look cheap. The reception was also rude, for my last visit it happened that I was around earlier so I came 40 min earlier hoping that I can wait inside since it was raining and cold outside. I’ve been kicked out asked to look for a coffee place around at 6pm because apparently the lobby is too small (there was no one in the lobby upon my arrival) and I would be a burden for the clients who are finished with their treatment. The only advantage is the schedule, you can always find a free spot there. So if you need something desperately, this is a place to go but if you want a proper treatment better look for a genuine spa. Update (to the owner response): I paid 50 euros for 40 min scrub session (out of which the session lasts for 30 min and the rest 10min are dedicated to shower)

I’m a regular customer. The massages range from good to excellent. The owner is lovely but the new receptionist however is VERY rude in her communication over the phone and in person. I’ve interacted with her several times over a period of 2 weeks trying to make appointments. She is really not welcoming at all, no smiles and rude behavior. She wouldn’t even let me in when I was earlier for my appointment even though there was a perfectly good sofa that wasn’t being used. When I’ve seen slots available only and tried to book at the salon she told me she can’t give me a slot - come again. If this behavior continues I will be forced to take my business elsewhere which is unfortunate as my experience was positive until the last two weeks with this particular receptionist at the front desk. I would say front desk is as important as the actual treatments as customers experience the front desk before anything else and that should always be a positive, welcoming experience.

Absolutely perfect. One of most professional places and greatest customer service. Very high quality massage which feels amazing. Here’s what I loved: -great welcome at the door and offer a drink so one can relax and enter the massage hydrated and mindful -giving you choice of oil -asking in advance if you have any pains/any areas that need attention (I always feel akward to tell to the masseurs but here they proactively ask you so much better) -checking in with you during massage -amazing quality, they have only therapists with years of experience: know the pressure points well and work them out -after treatment again offer drink -amazing ambiance: clean, taken care if and cozy Couldn’t recommend more! Also prices are very good!

Very good massage given by Claudia. But experience got ruined by the woman at the reception. She was EXTREMELY rude, sarcastic and condescending. She also rolled her eyes on me when I didn’t get the name of oil in first go. When I was leaving, she had a big fake smile on her face( because her coworker must have told her about my comments) but that didn't help. She closed the door at my face while I was still talking. I am NOT returning. This is the second time Glow Well spa has provided a rude and disrespectful service. In the incident before this, two masseuse were laughing and chuckling when me and my partner asked for less pressure. If you don’t want to run out of business, please hire professional staff.

I had the most amazing hot stone massage! This was my first visit and I am utterly satisfied with July (read: Julie). July has 25 years of experience and you feel it the moment she puts her hands on you. I told her about some problem areas and she gave those some extra attention, relaxing the tiniest muscles I didn't even realise existed. Very good! Great quality products too. I'm a natural skincare nut and it did wonders for my dehydrated skin. Also, I had a horrible stress headache for hours but the moment I walked in I felt relaxed. Great atmosphere and high quality& professional personnel. I didn't want to leave and would recommend to anyone who's looking for a moment of true relaxation. Thanks July!

Ik ben aangenomen na een sollicitatie maar toen ik met kvk nummer kwam zeiden ze niemand nodig te hebben / ondanks dat er nog vandaag hebben ze vacature geplastst met DRINGEND! / Niet eerlijk en misleidend. Nu durven nog te zeggen dat ik geen Nederlands spreek na 27 jaar verblijf in Nederland. Wat mij is wel opgevallen dat dat ze daar geen Nederlands spreken. Ik had sollicitatie met Wendy de manager daar ik zou mijn kvk halen en contracten krijgen,wij hebben gecomuniceerd in het Engels. Welke vertaler? Waar hebben ze het over? Ik zag daar wel zeer Jorge meisje op de bankje zitten.Ik krijg wel het idee dat er veel mis is in deze bedrijf. Massagebedrijf die leugens verkoop en schijnzelfstandigheid.

Have gone three times. Nice welcome with cucumber water or tea. Had the deep muscle massage (hurt so good - but be ready for very hard pressure). The relax massage was also nice, but the pressure was too light. I asked for more pressure, but still not enough, I felt. At the beginning of the massage I had asked for special focus on my feet, which were hurting from walking too much but it was not done. When I asked specifically again I was told I should make a longer appointment for that because the time was up. My favorite massage was the sea salt scrub. That really felt amazing.

I just had my facial and I usually take my time to review, but I couldn't wait! From the beginning (entrance ) till the very end the service was great. From the reception at, to Ava, the lady that gave me my facial....ofgered drunk at the start and it felt very welcoming that I fell asleep at some point hahaha! Much needed facial. My first time in Amsterdam and I needed a TLC on my face and now, it feels so soft, refreshed and clean! Please remember to bring cash hen coming. There's also an arm near by if not. Do NOT go there NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Contrary to their well edited advertisement videos, you will walk into a small studio (average), and will experience a message worth a third of the price they ask for. The staff at the front desk are vindictive and rude and will go out of their way to reply to any comment that is not rating them 5 star. They use security camera footage as "proof", if a customer dares to express their discontent with the service... If you don't rate them 5 star, prepare to be basically sued by them, as they do not accept anything less.

Echt een aanrader! Vandaag van de muscle melt massage mogen genieten - heerlijk begin van een zondagochtend. Mijn spieren voelen nu lekker soepel en ontspannen. De dames zijn vriendelijk, je voelt je meteen welkom en de salon is netjes en schoon. Daarnaast krijg je bij binnenkomst een glaasje water en warm handdoekje, je mag je massageolie zelf uitkiezen (ze bieden zelfs biologische massageolie aan) en na de behandeling mag je nog even rustig bijkomen en genieten van een thee/water en koekje. Thanks a lot for making me glow, ladies! Tot snel :-)

Worst massage I ever had. It was so bad I stopped it halfway. I never did you this in my life, but after trying two different masasseurs, I felt scammed. They either didn't do any pressure at all, even after asking 3 times, or they were using their elbows. Very bad experience, unfortunately. EDIT: I had bruises the next day over my body in the areas were the person used the elbows. My advice is that for this price, you can go to a place like Doctor Feelgood and get a proper massage.

Vandaag voor een tweede keer bij Glowwell Spa geweest en wederom een ontzettend fijne ervaring. Van het water bij aankomst en vertrek tot keuze aan olie. Bij aankomst werd er nog gevraagd of er een punt was voor aandacht, waarop ik aangaf dat mijn nek nogal stijf aanvoelt. Dat heeft ze heel goed in gedachten gehouden, want ze heeft mijn nek en schouders extra goed aangepakt. De muscle melt is zeker een aanrader. Nogmaals voor de dames, bedankt en tot een volgende keer!

I've visited the spa twice and each time I have been incredibly relaxed afterwards! Today I had a pregnancy massage, instead of a special table with a hole for your belly they have pillow which supports your back and belly - I actually preferred the pillow and found this much more comfortable than the special pregnancy table (which I've experienced elsewhere). The massage was excellent!

I booked a 60 minute relax massage, however it was extremely painful. Multiple times during the massage I indicated that it was painful, but the masseuse said that was normal and that my back was just very tight. Finally, the 3rd time I had to ask again to stop massaging that area with so much pressure. That night I had bruises on those spots and even lying in bed was painful.

The deep tissue massage was stronger and, for me, more pleasant than the normal oil massage I had before, although both were performed very professionally and by highly skilled therapists. They are great! And the choice among high quality oils is a plus too! The best experience in Amsterdam after trying two other (cheaper) places. I will return here for sure.

Mijn vriendin en ik hebben de duo massage gedaan. We ontvingen een warm welkom met drankje. Je kon een keus maken uit verschillende olieen, fijne muziek op de achtergrond en een douche op het eind. Kortom er werd echt aandacht besteed om er een heerlijke ervaring van te maken. Oh ja, en de massage was zeer ontspannend.

For a place in amsterdam, the place was very spacious. It had separate rooms (which is very important to me, I cannot relax when it is only divided by curtains) and relaxing music. I get to choose the oil for the massage, and the massage itself was great. Highly recommended, I will go again for sure!

Uitgebreide behandelingen uitgevoerd door diverse culturele achtergronden, een ieder gespecialiseerd in hun methodiek. Mini-spa net ik de hoek van Albert Cuijp, zeker aan te raden bij een zeer hoge intensief werkdruk, stress, mommy or dad couple full body stress zone triggerpoint treatments.

Very good massages and good services. I have been here several times for body and face massages and it’s always good. They asked you where you have pain and how high the pressure should be before the therapist begins with massages. Definitely coming back! A very satisfied customer! :)

Beautifully decorated with a calm and welcoming host. The massage therapists really listened and gave us just what we needed. This was a very relaxing treat to have on our vacation. We would definitely come back here next time we visit Amsterdam.

Always great service: a warm welcome when you come in and a tea after the massage so you are still in a relaxed mood. You can choose your own massage oil (and it's hard to pick one, they all smell amazing and are organic!).

Fantastic 90 mins massage. Went with my friend and we both thought it was excellent. Staff were friendly and you can definitely tell they have many years experience. I almost fell asleep. I’m already planning to go again!

When i asked what kind of massage they do, receptionist said mix of Asian and European mixed. What does that mean?! This was the WORST massage I have ever had. You are basically bathing in oil and then rubbed randomly.
