DO NOT BOOK! Today, Wednesday, Nov 13th 2019 NOBODY of the agency showed up outside the closed office at 6:00 o'clock for the allegedly "guaranteed" tour every Wednesday and Saturday. I arrived at the agency's office at 5:50 and waited there together with an Italian lady who had booked the tour the evening before. We both waited till 6:55 and still there was no one to be seen around the place. The Italian lady called the agency that claimed the driver was already there... well, he wasn't. This was the most unpleasant experience in the whole of my Mayanmar travels so far.

Golden express tour was the cheapest tour I found on web from Yangon to Golden Rock (approx $45 per person). I noted than on Saturday, the fare is more convenient than other days so, if you can, try to check the fare in different days. Minivan is ok, driver too and my guide was really professional. I gave a lot of explanations on Myanmar, Buddhism and Golden Rock in a fluent English. He was ready to answer everything group asked. Even the dinner was very good. Thanks!

I chose one day Golden rock group tour because the tour price was inexpensive compared to the other agencies. I received the detailed itinerary by email, the tour was proceeded as scheduled. There were 8 participants including us. The van was spacious. Zaw,our guide, was friendly, spoke English well. Restaurant for breakfast and lunch were good. I recommend this tour!

Picked up others but I never even got a confirmation email and stood at their door for 1h30 until they came. Took forever and still made us to pay for every individual item along the way. The promotion intimated everything was already paid. In the end we had only paid to get to the foot of the mountain

I used Golden Express to book a trip to the Golden Rock. Unfortunately I was unable to go on the tour. They were unable to cancel the booking but the staff were very helpful and changed the booking to another tour that I requested. Very helpful staff!!! I will use them next time I am in Yangon.
