If I could give it negative stars I likely would…..What started as a pleasant lunch out with a girlfriend at a restaurant highly recommended by NUMEROUS friends I am sad to say the experience turned beyond sour. We started lunch off with a friendly male server, at some point after our food came he either went on break or was done shift(nobody let us know he just disappeared) I ran out of sauce and was eager for another. Nobody had checked to see how our food was at this point so I was certain someone would be around soon. After about 10 mins I got up peaked inside and saw one lady (who rolled her eyes and huffed when she saw me looking)but not my server so went back n sat down. I figure I could enjoy the rest of my meal without it. She came out a moment later with a nasty glare and said with the most tone and attitude I think I have ever heard from a server “do you need something” I replied I was looking for my server. She walked away returned with my sauce and quite literally slammed it on the table and walked away. I turned to my girlfriend and we started discussing her interaction with us and how unpleasant it was. She sent out what I assume was a hostess to check on us. I asked her where the lovely male server had gone she replied he was busy and that the woman and her had taken over. I asked for the cheque and continued talking about how awful her treatment was. The hostess I’m guessing reported our discussions to her as she came flying out demanding why we were talking about another woman like that. I responded because you have been horrific and I see no reason why I simply needed dip. She continued aggressively telling us she is not rude … when the hostess brought our cheque I asked if she could please send the manager out as I was appalled by this woman. She responded that woman IS THE MANAGER… Good Co owners if you want your business to succeed I can’t not stress enough how badly this woman needs to be replaced ….I am a business owner and was a waitress and bartender for over 10yrs and I can confidently say I have NEVER treated a guest in ANY of my establishments the way this woman treated us today. I would like to add the food was delicious and all other staff was pleasant… She is a nightmare. Do better

I've been going to Colony regularly for several years since they took over the old Mr Brownstone location and spent thousands of dollars here with my friends, but I never will again. Sports fans take note - do not come here to watch games. They advertise for you to come watch the game there, and then don't let you listen to it. Went to watch the Canada - Costa Rica soccer game, even calling ahead of time to make sure it would be on with the sound. After the first half they turned the sound off and replaced it with music, refusing to turn the sound back on when the game started again. We asked for the sound, and the bartender said she'd be happy if Colony "never showed another sports game again" (but you work at a sports bar?). The manager came over and said we were basically the only people watching the game and we'd be costing them sales if the sound was on. She said at least 50% of the patrons have to be there for the game or they won't put the sound on. Her words included "It's too bad you're annoyed" and "your preference is costing us sales". When Canada scored and well over half the patrons erupted in cheers, it became clear that "at least 50%" of the patrons WERE watching the game, and the decision not to play the sound was based on the employees' personal preferences. So we did "cost them sales", because we would have ordered more drinks but after being treated the way we were we just sat and watched the rest of the game with water instead. To be spoken to so rudely, to be denied an experience that the bar is literally advertising people to come there for, and to be told that I was costing them money when I've spent so much money at that establishment is more than enough not to go back. 2 stars because our server was excellent and the food was good.

I was there on November 29th around 8:00pm as I was having a last dinner and drinks with my friend before she went back to her country. The food and atmosphere were great but I have to say I was disappointed with the way the server treated me. My friend had brought a Polaroid camera to take some last photos together so I asked the server if he had a sharpie to write some nice messages on the photos for her. He said he did not have one so I asked if he could possibly ask the kitchen if they have one. He asked the kitchen and they did not have one so I was like okay no worries at all, and I mentioned in the kitchen I work in the staff usually carry a sharpie and a highlighter but it’s all good! Not a big deal. And he proceeded to get very mean with me and say that I was being very rude. I was shocked. When all I was simply asking for was a sharpie. He took what I said in the wrong way and I felt very disrespected by his behaviour and I left my dinner in tears. It was supposed to be a happy event because it was the last time I would see my friend and it ended up being a very bad time. My friend was shocked by the servers behaviour as well. I’m not sure if I will be back but I hope that he learns some manners and treats his guests with more respect. Despite his rude behaviour I still tipped well, and I apologized to him because he felt like I was rude. He did not apologize at all. Very sad because the food and atmosphere were great.

I used to regularly visit the Colony, however, after this experience I will likely never visit again. I can say with a high degree of certainty that the Colony is probably one of the worst restaurants I’ve been to in Vancouver. Not because of the food (although not great), but because of the service. Right from the very beginning, the waitress we had was very unpleasant; her demeanour was very stand-offish and blunt, and her tone of voice was very monotonous and rude. It was clear that there were absolutely no signs of attempted customer service. Usually I am very understanding of this, because I know that sometimes people simply aren’t having a good day, but this is also quite normal for the staff at this location (as you can probably figure out from other low-ratings posted on here). However, later in the evening our waitress bumped into one of the girls sitting at our table and then proceeded to yell at us for not being mindful of the space. Again, I am usually understanding but the way she YELLED at us was exceptionally unprofessional and quite frankly disrespectful, especially since she was the one who ran into the girl. What’s worse is that they forced a 20% gratuity (which she didn’t notify us of); if it were my choice, I would not have tipped. Honestly, I would NOT recommend anyone to come here.

My friends and I had such a great time hanging out here yesterday. Their cocktails are delicious. The Tropical Thumder Bucket could’ve done with a little more alcohol kick to it, but that coconut-ey Malibu proves to be such a base for all the other flavours to lie upon. The Good Co. Lemonade could have also done with some alcohol but once again great for someone who likes their drinks sweet and juicy. The High Fashion was what kept me going mellow through the night. Especially how with every sip had that Peach Schnapps finish… mmm soo smooth and Hell, I love peaches (LOVE!!!) I had the crispy chicken tacos (the dip is heaven) and it was great but Wayyyy to salty! I felt quite sick on my way back home due to the high sodium content and really guzzled down water before I slept. My friend who had the Cjicken Karaage felt the same - he felt the need to have a salad to cut out the salt. I’m writing this review with a sodium puffy face the next morning… Would’nt hesitate to come back here and have a good time The service was great too, except one lady who spilled some beer on my arm and a friend’s phone and didn’t even apologize even though she saw it

I’ve never been to a bar/restaurant where the server(s) seemed so disengaged and unhappy to be there. Walked in as a group of four, one server was talking to the first two of our group and a second came up, no greeting and barked ‘are you with them?’. They then proceeded to point us to a table in the corner whilst the other server tried to seat the other half of our group elsewhere. Got to the table which was already reserved for another group but no one seemed bothered. Tried to order two different beers but they were out (I understand that’s not their fault) and there was no ‘sorry we’re out of that’, simply ‘we don’t have it’. When asked which IPAs were on rotating tap the server said ‘Britannia and another one’… no name or description of this other mystery IPA and no effort to go and find out for us. Got our drinks and were then asked to move to a different table as the party that had reserved our table had arrived. We went elsewhere for food… Very unpleasant experience and would choose any other bar on Main St. before going here again.

I've tried their sister bar Charles Bar in downtown and that was not a good experience - the food was good but the servers were not. I was hoping the Colony Bar would be better. We went for brunch on a Saturday morning and it was empty. There were many way too many servers with nothing to do so they were chatting with each other and it was hard to flag one down so we can be seated. We ordered the Avocado Toast and the CB Benedict. For almost $10, the Avocado Toast was very lacking. It had avocado spread on 2 pieces of toast, 3 slices of radish and 3 cherry tomato halves on each. Taste was ok but very underwhelming. The CB Benedict was very average. The potato sides were probably the best part of it. I think brunch may not be their thing but I'd have to come back for their dinner and drinks. As for the restaurant itself. It was very clean with nice seating. There is a smaller bar area that other bars. Not too many TV screens if you are the sports pub kinda person.

I've been twice within the last month. The first time my dining partner and I were not acknowledged for a good 5 minutes. We finally seated ourselves. Once seated, it took awhile before the bartender greeted us (we sitting close to the bar). It took another while before a server arrived. Did I mention there were only 5 customers in the place? At least the food was decently prepared (a burger and fish tacos). The second time, a different dining companion wanted to go because "it was close by". This time we were acknowledged in a more timely manner, but the server was hardly pleasant. It seemed she wanted to be anywhere but there. This time the fish in the fish and chips had a batter that was slightly crisp upon arrival, but progressively soggier as time passed. The chicken wings were ok. Not likely to go back...no matter how convenient a location.

One of the most unpleasant and out-of-pocket experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. My group was seated and given our menus. 20 minutes later, for the first time, I put my hand up to get the server's attention as she walks by. She comes over and says, verbatim, "There's no need to wave at me, okay? You see how busy it is here? I know you're here and I'll get to you when I do". Didn't know that signaling to your server is a banned practice in restaurants, but thanks for the tip. Speaking of tip, I found it convenient that she was comfortable acting this way, given that there was a 19% auto-gratuity on our bill. Wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to visit this place. Stay away, and especially from the older, blonde, short-haired server in a jean jacket and sunglasses.

Extremely disappointing. The servers were very rude. We had an instance where a member of our party accidentally backed into staff and the SERVER PUSHED a member of our party saying we needed to watch our surroundings. Very unprofessional and I think there are methods that can be put into place to prevent bumping into servers as well. A server can say “behind you” to notify customers who may be getting to close, or wait to proceed safely when customers are leaving a table. On top of this, the servers did not inform us about tips included in our bill, and many members tipped generously on top of the already included 20% tip resulting in 40% tip for rude service! A very unpleasant experience from start to finish and will not be going back again.

I have been here lots between midday and 7pm and it's fantastic. Well priced beers with good variety, really nice food (poutine is up there), always playing some sport and service spot on. So between those hours, it is your ideal spot to hanker down with some beers and watch some football with friends. To note though, last week I went on a Friday night.. And the place turned into a super loud hip-hop haven.. But with sport playing.. And people seated conversing. It just felt like an identity crisis - either turn down the music volume, leave sport on and let people converse comfortably, or turn all sport off, ramp up the volume and let the music vibe take over.. Being halfway between just wasn't working out for me, but it might for you..?

  • L.R.

The place is really good, prices and food are good. But the blonde lady was so rude. When I take seat she ask me how much I'm gonna stay, because the table was booked ( no reservation sign on it) for a game at 5, it was 3 o clock. When I star to order something to eat she made a eye rolling gesture and when the food was on the table she move me at the end of the table because the game. When I ask for cutlery because I was waiting for someone, she insisted in move one more time. I request to move for another free table, she say no because everything was booked ( the restaurant was empty). I was tempted to order and try more food but no with her on the floor Probably next time.

This is one of my go to happy hour spots on Main. It’s got decent value for happy hour and usually has seats available. The prices are in line with what you would find for a smash burger or chicken burger, they come with fries. It may seem weird, but adding slushy to a beer is surprisingly delicious. It’s probably not worth the $2, but damn does it make a beer refreshing. Service is hit and miss. I don’t know if they have enough servers, but sometimes our server would disappear for a while. Other times, it takes 10 mins before we get the bill after asking for it.

Stopped in for quick drink and bite during happy hour. Service and atmosphere was okay, couldn’t find server to pay bill. What moved me to write this review was that I thought I left my wallet on the stool after leaving. Called restaurant to check and was shocked at how rude the woman over the phone was, cut me off almost yelling saying “I am the general manager and was the one serving you there’s no wallet here” and hung up before I could explain where I was sitting. Didn’t get her name but she had short blonde hair. Would not return after that interaction.

The lady server is really bad. (Black bob hair lady) She slammed beer on the table. She didn’t answer the question. we will never comeback here. Maybe my English is not good that’s why she was really upset. She never asked us how we were doing. The lowest tip (automatic)was 18% so I could understand that she was working like that. Also she was holding the card machine and was looking at us with confidence when we were paying. We could NOT change the tip amounts. She seemed like want it fast. Other servers were good so we were okay to give them tip but it was not for her. This is not good experience.

I’ve honestly got to say that out of all the establishments in Vancouver Good Co. Main (formerly known as the colony) is the absolute best. From the amazing, friendly and attentive staff; Jordan, Jessica, Vanessa, Ellanor, Natalie and everyone else involved. The service is top notch the food is hands down the best comfort food on Main Street ( delicious burgers and entrees you and your friends will enjoy) to the over all music, vibe and culture. Good Co. On main is the best you can get for a good night out. Try the CB Deluxe on the menu it’s easily the best burger on Main Street shouts out to the chef.

Server was excellent at her job. Came by often enough to check on us. Not too busy on arrival so at least server have us excellent service rather than twiddling their thumbs like some places. Metered street parking in this area of Main Street so free residential street parking (1 or 2 hour signs) a block or so away is doable. Because dining room not so busy on arrival, we could pick a small corner table so we could be comfortable. Food was good. We shared the chicken and waffles and the CB Benny. Liege waffles not my favourite but they were good this time.

Would rate 3.5 ⭐️ Ordered: Wings $16 * Got 7 large wings * I like my wings dry but these were more in the juicy side with sauce brushed on and baked so not really baked into the wing as not as tasty. Smash burger $16 *Pretty good, fries were good too Spicy Chicken burger * not really spicy but was tasty * also came with tasty fries Pacific cod taco * Tasty but had better and bigger at tacofino Server came quite often to fill our drink. Food took a while but she apologized for the slowness a few times.

The way staff behaves feels like they aren’t getting paid enough. I hated this service. Not recommended. Edited: Maybe talk to your employees how they can provide better service. They don’t need to ignore dashers. I want you to go check the waiting time, since I arrived and until I marked the order as picked. I waived at 2 employees, both ignored me. No smile at their face. I am also reporting this issue to DoorDash. AND learn how to reply politely. (Please and Thanks) Manners go a long way.

Came here for happy hour and was pleasantly surprised by the best fish taco that I have ever had. It was definitely a bar setting with loud music and sports television. I wish that maybe the music wasn't so loud so that I would be able to have a better conversation with my partner but I do understand that it. Is the long weekend and people were there mostly for the beer. The loaded tater tots were actually so good and we totally enjoyed our time there. Can't say much about the service as we were only therefore a short period of time.

  • Nicole Jorgensen

Came here on tuesday, our server was extremely slow, we had to ask for 2/4 of our rounds from another staff member. poutine was horrible, gravy was clumpy, server didnt quality check so there was no way to say anything. Server was friends with the table literally beside us and was talking and standing there the majority of our stay. She would look over at our table and keep talking to her friends, who got faster service the we did, and we were just drinking beers. Wouldn't return, horrible service, extremely bad food.

How do you not know the difference between Spaghetti and past pasta is not Spaghetti dear God the guy had a band-aid hanging off his face for the love of God who wears a band-aid on his face with a band-aid hanging off his face like a cat hanging off a willow tree branch. 20 bucks for pasta with stale bread being used as garlic toast I've never had such low quality for that price and I've eaten m.r.e.s that had more flavor Sault is not a stand alone flavor.

This place is in my neighborhood but we had not been in since before the pandemic started. When we stopped in for dinner recently, we were promptly seated at a good window table. Now I know it's a sports bar, but does the volume have to be so LOUD? We frequent other local places often so we're used to how noisy they are, but within 2 minutes we made the decision to leave. We'll try again I suppose, but that was an earsplitting deal breaker... 2 stars instead of one for the initial service

Contractor here, stopped in for lunch while at work, sat a sunny window table and did some paperwork. No drinks this time but had the smash burger deluxe. What a great burger…. Everything was delicious. Two meat patties cooked perfectly, melted cheese. great sauce and pickles. A well paired bun to bring it all home. I had a caesar salad instead of fries which went very well with it. Honestly, I wanted a second one right away. Will definitely be stopping in for lunch again. Thank you!

Had an amazing evening at Colony Main St. Friday evening. My group of 5 and I were seriously impressed with the quality of our food, all pub grub but really tasty and came out quickly. Our server was incredibly on point making sure all at the table had full drinks, meals, desserts….whatever we needed; Thanks Aly! Even the music was fun and lively and a good mix of older and newer stuff. The whole group commented on how well taken care of we felt. Absolutely going back!!

  • Nate Kwong

Ordered the Nashville chicken Sando and my goodness it was thick, juicy and battered to profection. Don't be fooled by its bar like ambiance, this establishment can very well be a stand alone restaurant as their kitchen is excellent. I was and still am extremely impressed with their food quality and service. Guys get try their cod tacos and Nashville chicken. You will not be disappointed.

Good selection of rotating beers, quality food. Can't get enough fish tacos ☝️ that was my review from when it was Colony, circa 2019. If you're looking to grab a beer and watch a game, not a bad spot. But if you're going to eat here, don't expect much. Seems like they've downgraded their ingredients to a big box supplier, and have adopted the typical kind of cookie cutter menu pubs typical of these places owned by 'restaurant groups'.

  • Shana Bain

Have been here a few times. Usually the food and service is better but this time went on a busy Friday night. Waited a very lengthy time to receive a menu then even longer for a glass of water and our first drinks. Finally got our order in 45 minutes later by indicating we were ready to a passing server...not our server. My fish burger was very dry and French fries were cold and like crunching on rocks. Hope this place picks it back up.

  • Samantha Young

Great spot to soak up the sun on patio - our awesome server made sure we got a seat out there so we could stay with the pooch. They brought him water too. We only grabbed some drinks but will be back to try the food - it looked good! Only reason for 4 stars is we came specifically because their Instagram mentioned they use horseradish in their caesars but ours didn’t have any. Love the dog friendly patio though.

Been going to colony on main st. For weekends befor when it first opened. I wish I can give a better review for this place but I feel like it went down hill . The food isn't as good besides there wings and lemon pepper fries. The tap for beer are okay sometimes it isn't the greatest where you get bottoms of the keg . Hopfully they can change up better and make this establishment more better again .

  • Abdul Rehman

The guy closing on Monday’s has to be the rudest fellow I’ve ever met at a restaurant. Granted I walked in close to closing time. However, he could have told me that they were closed. Instead when asked about the menu he very rudely said you can order now or I can’t serve you . Didn’t feel like staying so left after that . Absolutely appalling service, short dark haired guy with a goatee.

  • Ron Potter

After checking out last night, I found that the bill amount was higher than the actual amount. The service didn’t apologize, but only refunded me the difference in the price of the wine and put the cash on the table and walked away. They didn’t refund the entire bill including tip and let me start again, I actually don't feel good

Stopped in here to have drinks late Saturday night. The server spilled an entire glass of water on us and our table, my cellphone was drenched and charging port disabled due to the amount of water. Server was barely apologetic, didn't seem to care at all but did not make us pay for that round. Ruined the vibe. Extremely slow service due to lack of staffing I assume. Wouldn't go back.

Popped by for brunch and Caesars. Been here many times but never tried their brunch before. My partner got the broken yolk griddle sandy and I got the market scramble. Both were excellent, caesars were fantastic, along with the service. Also literally next door to both Cobs Bread and 49th & parallel for your morning coffee and bread pickup. Happy hour: try the smash cheeseburgers!

  • Mike Wellar

Was looking for a quick lunch and wound up at Good Co. Great selection of beers - had the Kveik Wheat from Shaketown, wife had a domestic. Food was quick - Nashville Chicken for me, veggie burger for her. Both yummy and the fries were A1. Friendly staff, golf on the screens, bar seating at the window to get some sunshine. Would definitely go back.

absolutely brutal service, if you want to call it that. can’t comment on the products because I clearly wasn’t cool enough for them to bother taking my order or even getting me a drink. ( not a problem for the guy beside me, who was clearly part of the “crew” ). stay far away. like, what kind of place avoids getting someone at the bar a beer?

Lovely experience at the colony! Even though it was busy the server took her time with the table and was very attentive, told me about the beverages and recommended some dishes that were all really good! I came because I was told that it was a hotspot in Vancouver and I’ll definitely be going back because of the wonderful service and food!

We went on game day (which we didn't realise) so if your going to catch up with friend you haven't seen in 3years...skip game day (I have no voice now!) Drinks were great, really good selection, we had the mini corn dogs which were delicious, and the staff were super friendly and attentive even though it was packed! Great little bar

I can’t say enough good things about this little gem of a place! Located in lovely Mt Pleasant with the greatest friendly peeps EVER!! The staff were AMAZINGLY attentive and a nice happy hour too. Such a comfortable venue to visit, will return soon. Smash burger was yum and the rainbow salad WOW!!! …

  • Ross (Chewrosss)

First time visiting them and was not disappointed!!!! We had the margarita nachos & deep fried spicy squid!! Portion is big good for 2-3 people! I had the bee keeper and the next thing i know i was ordering my 4th glass!! Our server was amazing! *i forgot our server’s name but i can still recognize her!! She rocks!*

This place is AMAZING! The second I walked through the door our server Kat greeted us with a smile and had a table for us right away. She was prompt without being nosey and our experience was truly made better by her incredible attitude and radiant personality. I will 100% be back here specifically because of her.

  • LMN 1984

Come here periodically and always enjoy my food and beer. They have a decent Craft Beer selection- and the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwhich and Beer Battered Fries . Also love their fish tacos. My only minor issue would be the super loud music that you can't talk over - but that's just personal preference. …

  • Chloe Ancessi

I’ve never made a google review before but this place was so bad I had to. This is the worst service I’ve ever gotten. The waitress rolled her eyes at us several times, and overall was extremely unfriendly. The food was extremely unsatisfactory as well. Will not be coming back and would not recommend to anyone.

  • Nick

Great environment with really tasty pub food. I don’t know how busy this place gets on certain days, but it was relatively dead on the Monday I went. Nonetheless, they have solid deals on beers, making it worth checking out. The colony downtown seems to be a different vibe; this location is a lot more tame.

  • Me Besson

I highly recommend this bar, the service was top notch. Our server was attentive, made great personal recommendations and was compassionate person to us. The food was amazing, portions were huge, original flavors and cooked to perfection. The music was great, and atmosphere comfortable and clean.

Great place for pints, yummy food with great choices, Sunday caesars & brunch! Friendly, easy going staff and was very impressed with a server I’ve had a couple times now, “Ally” She is very friendly and attentive. They have games nights with great prizes. Definitely recommend this place!

  • Nathan Jackman

My goodness, where to start? The lovely staff make this place a great spot to watch a game or just chat with Kirk and feel welcome. The food is delicious but really, the selection and variety of beers the man stocks is thoughtful and impressive. Next time you’re in be sure to say hi!

  • Bojan Belina

A well designed space with plenty of seating. Can accommodate large groups but has plenty of paired seating. The beer selection was great and the service was excellent. Only tried the fries which were seasoned perfectly. The prices are reasonable and they do have some great specials.

  • Dave Knight

Good, clean neighbourhood pub. Decent food and beer selection. Their daily craft beer special is one of their best qualities. Otherwise, there are places with more character elsewhere on Main Street. The mainly high-top tables here make it hard to accommodate families with strollers.

Their trivia nights are fun, but they don't always have enough personal so service can be slow. Also they started talking about a minimum spend amount of $10 at the last 15 minutes, should have informed us upfront, even though they didn't enforce it, it left a sour taste.

Super friendly staff ! Good prices, one of the only places to watch sports in mount pleasant. Garry, Ian, and Gina are top shelf bartenders/servers. If your in mount pleasant and wanna watch sports or just chill out I cannot recommend this place more.

The server has a bit of attitude, maybe she was having a bad day but it really showed and reflected poorly in the service we received. Food is standard pub food.

They just racial profiled my friend for being indian and kicked him out for something they accused and could not even come close to proving. I have been many times and like this bar but i will never go again. This is ridiculous and unacceptable.

Amazing place for drinking! Love the view on the patio non a sunny afternoon day, and enjoy the buzzing atmosphere! Love the crowd and love the food! Can’t wait to go back! Yummy Cesar’s Two thumbs up for the Atmosphere and clientele! …

Great food great servixe and super friendly staff. And our waiter was amazing on top of everything never asking for refills or drinks she was on it Also she was funny and courtious great bar will go backnwhen in town . Much love from seattle .

  • Ramal Nagahawatte

Really really rude people. First we played Ninentdo games there and I stepped out of the desk we stayed but I didn’t even hit her. She was so rude. Then when we paid the guy come and asked if there was problem since we didn’t tip. It was 4

As a bartender, myself, my whole life, I just want to say that the bartenders need to engage with the people sitting at the wood like there’s no engaging. It’s actually part of our job.

Super friendly people, well most of them. The blonde girl hosting Bingo was snarky and rude when we asked for bingo cards for the new round...we came in the middle of a round, it's a bar people are constantly coming and going, unnecessary

  • Wolf MacLeod

Wow, don't get food to go! definitely shouldve looked in the bag before walking out. My food was extremely deflated, like where is half the burger?! And exceedingly bland, did you use any salt ? with the smallest portion of fries, those

Good Co is always a fun time! They have a great atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful. Great prices on beer and food. Check out their trivia night on Mondays with a few friends - best to reserve a table, trivia night is busy!

The last place the waiter wanted to be that day was waitresses our table. She brought 2 menus for 6 people. Took for ever to take our drinks order and never warned us about the 21% (already included tip) First and last time at this place

Located right in the heart of Main Street, perfect location close to everything makes it a great meeting place. Lots of table and booth seating and a long bar for sitting in front of the screens as well. COVID precautions are being done

  • Matthew Busch

Great service, good food, decent drinks. Whoever is controlling the aux cord at this place should be relieved of their duties. We could literally hear gun shots in the bar as the Spotify “this is Eminem” playlist played for 5 hours.

  • Gestler Mendoza

My first time at this place I'm usually in their downtown location. The vibe is totally different and the atmosphere is good. #OnGoogleMaps @googlemaps #LetsGuide @googlelocalguides #604 #VanCity #Food On Insta: @gestler.mendoza

Wrong bills. Wrong drinks 3 times. Shots sat at the bar for 10 mins. Server mad several excuses that made no sense as I'm a server. It was my friend's birthday. Also pop gun was flat. Server also didn't even know the bar gin.

  • Dan Arc

Horribly overpriced food, that doesn't taste very good. Ordered a salad that was almost all lettuce. They somehow managed to ruin the other dish, by adding disgusting little crunchy things that tasted like burnt cardboard.

  • B D

honestly pretty solid. I like colony, they're a pretty reliable set of restaurants, with decent food and good beers on tap. their Caesar isn't half bad either, suggest extra spicy with pickle juice, and muddy.

Great spot on Main Street with super friendly service! The manager Alysha served our table while working through the early summer heat wave and didn’t even break a sweat. 10/10 drinks and food, 11/10 staff!

  • Yang Pang

Chicken and Waffles always on the menu, whatever the time. And it's delicious! There are great drink specials and the service is friendly and fast. I will be back for more menu items and for casual drinks!

  • Jeeva D

The food was average, not bad happy hour menu and good sports screens. Unfortunately the service made us feel unwelcome and that we were intruding. There are other places that are more service oriented.

  • Alexa O'Connor

In a world where people only have cards these days, the fact this company is charging 15% to pay by card is ridiculous. The audacity. No one wanted to come go there before, but definitely not anymore.

Ended up at Colony Bar on Main Friday October 1st , 2021. We were craving their pan fried squid. The food was yummy. There was a fight outside that the hostess and fellow staff handled well.

Went here for brunch, very friendly service and the space is nice and spacious. Food was just ok: bread was a bit burnt on the bottom, tater totes were over done. Tasty avocado sauce.

  • Siddharth Singh

Extremely rude staff specially the Asian Cheif in the kitchen and the bartender lady in her early 50s. Doesn’t have the humanity and treats like they own the world.

Bad experience. The wall is dirty inside. Expensive food but low quality. Dry burger. Also, I bought a pinapple juice but my glass was full of ice... 4 dollars for ice, thank you...
