Hands down my favorite hat shop on the planet. Goorin Bros. makes some of the best fedoras and ballcaps I've had the pleasure of wearing. I first discovered them through a friend while in S.F. and have been hooked ever since. Though they do have some hats that get pretty pricey, most of their stock is pretty reasonable and I always find something I like. They staff is friendly and they even have a frequent buyer program. If you're looking for a dope hat, you owe it to yourself to check this place out. Word.

Great service, from an initial shopping experience to a subsequent visit where I was seeking help with cleaning and conditioning a light tan fedora. Fyi: Light felt colors like tan will inherently show more dirt, dust, and/stains over time, but ask the folks at this shop for advice and they will show the best ways to care for a purchase, including what I know to be key: preventative stain/water repellent--applied regularly for light colors.

I was told by a few people that if I wanted a solid, high quality hat, to be sure we went to Goorin Bros. while in San Diego. Was not disappointed in the least. Selection was amazing, even for my substantial cranium. Found an amazing flat cap, great breathable material to bring back to the Arizona heat. Going to for sure consider them for any hat needs in the future. Thanks for the amazing customer service and great hat.

My mom and I came in from out of state here to look for a hat for my brother. I’ve had a hat from here before, and the quality was great! In this most recent SD experience, we worked with Nick and he was extremely personable and knowledgeable. He answered all of the questions seemingly effortlessly; his customer service was also excellent. Overall, great experience and well represented for the brand! Great store!

I'm going with the vibe of the store, I am waiting for the right hat to "speak to me". In the meantime I stop by almost every weekend and I'm blown away by the customer service and the honest feedback of the store associates, they will help with everything from shape and color to sizing. It's also relatively easy to accept their guidance as they always look amazing and sport hats that are so effortless.

I have always wanted a hat from here since the first time I came to the store. Today I was the day I was finally able to come back to the beginning and purchase a hat. Jules was the best. I never felt rushed and even felt like if I tried on every hat in the store, always asking for her thoughts on how it look, she would have obliged. It was the best experience and Jules was AWESOME!

Always a fun time just looking, but the staff was very helpful and friendly. Offering good advice and criticism for what works well and what does not work for you and your hat choice. The quality of hats (and styles) is top notch, especially given the prices. But you pay for the quality of the product, and I have not been disappointed by any of hats I bought from them.

Austin, manager at store, was very knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. Had an issue with one of the hats after purchasing and he was very quick and helpful at finding a solution. This experience turned me from a one-time buyer into a lifetime customer. Absolutely recommend this store for its excellent l customer service and wide selection of hats!

Very satisfied! I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful woman named Robin who did a great job helping me locate my perfect hat of choice. In fact they had amazing deals so I got two for price of one. As a bald person with a large hat collection, I pride myself on being a hat snob and I would say this place is top notch. Really nice for a chain hat shop. Staff were really helpful and went the extra mile. Selection had a good representation of styles and even a few good ones in my size. Location is a little small to fit the selection I'd love to see, but they do a lot with the space. They even cleaned up my old hat while I was trying on new ones.

So we are back at the shop, again. Robin is helping us, again. I love this store and Robin really sets the feeling with her customer service and personality. Robin imbues the vibe and personality of the Goorin trademark. If you need a hat, anyone here will provide great service, but ask for Robin, you'll be presently surprised.

Served well by Robin (unsure of spelling) who helped me find a perfect porkpie and a wonderful cloche for my wife. Her choice of feather was inspired. Friendly service in an historic building with quality wares for sale at reasonable prices.

Shop is nice and products high quality but on the expensive side so just be prepared. Staff was professional and helpful. Husband bought a cap and this is 2 he's bought over last 3 years. Shop is in gaslamp quarter of downtown San Diego.

Had a few questions about hat maintenance. I purchased the North fork which is a leather hat. They explained some possible techniques I could use to maintain the hat. Great store. Every body needs a hat that will last a lifetime.

The staff is always friendly when I go here. My only problem is the company as a whole has moved on to selling only cheap trucker hats. Gone are the days when you can actually do here for a fine hat
