Such a pleasure to shop there. Family owned and run business. We love their Ultimate Gourmet hot dogs. We eat them during the winter, however are anxiously awaiting bbq season. They are something else on the bbq. We went today specifically for their chicken cordon bleu. They were out of them so made up four fresh ones for us. Another favourite during bbq season are their steaks. A winter fav, their pork butt chops! We're trying their homestyle black forest ham for the first time today. And, we're great fans of their baked goods. I love the date squares and he swears by their brownies. (They have bacon brownies too!) It is always our pleasure to shop there.

shady buisness practices, wasnt even abel to get to the point of seeing what the quality of food was like, called to speak with someone only to be told 'the prices you see are 5 years old' and an option that was listed on their website as $32 was currently over $50. a 60% increase in price is absolutely ridiculous even over the alleged 5 years they say they went without ever updating their website, dont ever expect them to respond to an email either. would highly reccomend staying away from this company at any costs, who knows what other price gouging they would try pulling if hired.

Gourmet Meats is a hidden gem. Once you find out about it, you become a regular. You can buy fresh and frozen meats, steaks, sausages, hamburger etc BUT the secret you may not know about is their warm sandwiches. I regularly call on a Saturday afternoon and order 2 gourmet club sandwiches because I will not share with my husband. I want to try new sandwiches but I don't want to give up my gourmet club so I usually order a third sandwich so we can try new things. Lately we have tried the brisket and the roast beef and both a absolutely chef's kiss... SO SO GOOD.

Christa and her staff from Gourmet Meats catered an open house for our new Mandeville Private Client office location in Ancaster last night. There were around 120 people at this event and I'm pretty sure every single one of them raved about the food. These people are professionals. The presentation was classy and tasteful without being over the top. The flavours were to die for and the price was very reasonable. If you're shopping around and reading this right now - STOP - and call Gourmet Meats. Trust me you will not be disappointed.

Placed a mobile order online over an hour Before pick up. Once I got to the store, they informed me that I should call in if I order online defeating the purpose of ordering online. I asked for a refund which the girl told me that she had to give it back to me in a gift card. It took the store owner to come out to give me a cash refund. Extremely frustrating when some people only have limited time on lunch breaks to get their food. Don’t recommend this place to anybody.

Rolled into this great butcher after my motorcycle partially exploded on Hwy 6. The meat counter has a great selection of cold cuts, marinated meats, bacon, burgers, steaks and other great stuff. There's also a diverse range of freezer goods (I'm excited to try the pulled beef), tons of pantry goods, and the sandwich I ordered was delicious. Drove past Gourmet Meats Ldt. many times and thought they were a steak house. Looking forward to coming by more often.

So glad I was told about this place! Amazing sandwiches (my favourite is the chicken club, it’s a big and hearty sandwich). The baked treats are amazing, I’ve tried the apple loaf, nanaimo bar, brownie, and a couple butter tarts. They were all very good and the butter tarts being my favourite, nice gooey centre and flaky pastry. I noticed they also sell frozen meals so I hope to try some soon. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Amazing And you charge a premium which I get Lucas why why why do you pack these sausages in these loose clear baggies or a terrible butcher wrap job. Freezer burn in a week. My son went here for a sandwich with his KF Aerospace co-workers and told me to give it a try. Just like the sticker says, “extreme happiness”! I got a traditional turkey club, big, tasty, amazing. There aren’t many places to get a decent sandwich near Mt Hope, at least I didn’t think there was. Looks like a good butcher shop too, I’ll be going back to get some meat for the grill. Highly recommended!

I find the staff very friendly and always helpful. The prices for fresh meat are probably the best I've found, in the area. They offer made to order sandwiches that are fantastic. If you have a sweet tooth, their baked goods are sooo good! They also sell different kinds of sauces and dips. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for excellent quality and decent prices.

Very helpful, I phoned ahead and ordered some roasts. They were terrific. Also bought some rubs and spices, they are fantastic. Great bang for your buck!!Picked up some sandwiches today. I'll share my experience. The meat does not have a best before date on it. I'll be calling Tuesday for a refund. 3 days old sitting perfectly in a fridge. Photos were taken on Saturday sept 18. I find it a joke that no best before is put on any of the meat. Deluxe burgers had the same issue of not cooking all the way through. I shop at farm boy and other places.

I’ve driven past this place for the past 5 years and what a fool I was not to go in . Today was my first time there and It was amazing.great service the place looks beautiful inside, I’m a butcher from England and have been to a lot of high quality butchers shops around the world and Gourmet meats is by far one of the best. I will be back to buy more.

We have used Gourmet Meats for a number of occasions over the years. We have NEVER been disappointed. The food is fantastic, and the presentation is amazing! I’ve been making homemade sausage for 20 years having used gourmet meats for the ground pork in the past when John was there and quality was good. Last 4 years have used another vendor. Bought 30 lbs of grind several weeks ago and was not impressed , a 50/50 mix would be a stretch! Will not be back.

Gourmet Meats is exactly what you expect from a butcher. They all have all of the meats and cuts that you'd expect. Their homemade sausage is incredible! Friendly and knowledgeable staff will make sure you leave with exactly what you want. Their jerky and dried sausage are a must try!

Very surprised. Always driven by on the way along Hwy #6. Never thought much, had to drop off meat today. And wow! Great set-up, great merchandising, clean, looks like a great selection (again only dropped off). Seeing there rating is at 4.9, still room for another 5.

This a great place to buy sausage patties. But we had their sandwiches for the first time today and I must say WOW! Absolutely fantastic. I had the chicken schnitzel and hubby had the pulled pork. Best sandwich we have ever had. Definitely going back again!!!

Staff is always helpful and pleasant. Sandwiches are amazing. One issue that comes up is that the hours are wrong. I found that it is an issue with Google and that it’s better to check the actual website than trust Google.

You got way more meat in your beef order with the old owner then the new. I literally got half the meat I use to get. This size order from the old owner sold for 400 not 800!
